Monday morning after morning assembly, Mandy and Sofy were walking through the hall way, Sofy was telling Mandy about the pool party
" Wow Max is your hero" Mandy said with a smile
" yeah, and he stayed even when everyone left, he even took me home" Sofy said
" the guys that threw you into the pool, are they from our school" Mandy asked
" I'm not sure, cuz I've not seen them before, maybe they're Esme's friends" Sofy replied
" they'll call it fun, nonsense people, I'm glad you're fine" Mandy said
" yeah" Sofy muttered
" Can't you see" Mandy asked as she stopped on her footsteps
" see what" Sofy asked
" can't you see that Max loves you" Mandy yelled
" nah I'm not sure he loves me" Sofy said calmly
" And Melvin ?" Mandy said
" I don't know, i love the both of them" Sofy replied
" you can't love the both of them, you're just confused, you look at Max with love in your eyes but you're neglecting your feelings cuz there's Melvin, Mainwhile you know you just like Melvin and there's no special feeling" Mandy said and Sofy quickly found truth in what she was saying " close your eyes who do you see" Mandy added as Sofy closed her eyes quickly
" Max " she muttered slowly
" Who do you always think about" Mandy asked
" Max" Sofy said
" who are you always talking to" Mandy asked
" Melvin" Sofy replied
" see… you love Max but you can't understand your feelings for him, I've made you understand them now, I think you should consider talking to Max too like you talk Melvin, then maybe you'll realize your love for him" Mandy said
" you're right, I love Max but i keep denying the feelings, I only love Melvin as my friend plus we are really close, it's just that I'm mistaking my feelings for Max" Sofy replied gently
" I'm glad you now know who you have feelings for, so what's your plan" Mandy asked
" I don't know yet, I'll just watch and see" Sofy replied as they both walked to their class.

Later that day, Max and Melvin were at Melvin's study room studying when Melvin got a text, he clicked on it then started smiling
" why are you smiling" Max asked
" it's Sofy, she just told me she's coming so we could all go out together" Melvin replied
" Hmmmm" Max mumbled
" stop pretending I know you like her, Capri even told me how you were gawking at her at the pool party" Melvin said
" Don't you like her" Max asked
" You know I'm not into girlfriends, besides Sofy and I are just friends" Melvin replied
" Oh, that was such a relief, I was so scared that you were in love with her" Max said as he gave a sigh of relief
" Better make a move now before our class boys steal her away from you" Melvin replied as Max giggled In excitement.
Sofy arrived as they all started walking to the supermarket...
" Capri's birthday sleepover is this Friday, are we all going" Melvin asked
" Yeah, I won't miss it for anything" Max said with a smile
" me too" Sofy added 'Is it just me, Max looks happier , it seems like a huge load has been lifted off his shoulders' Sofy thought as she smiled sharply.
" I'm shopping for our biology practical, what about you Sofy ?" Melvin asked
" I'm grocery shopping" Sofy replied as she kept stealing from Max
