Chapter 15 - Chapter 16

How could there possibly be a grassland inside a house?

This was fake, it had to be fake!

Natasha and Coulson both convinced themselves deep inside.

They felt that the education they had received for years was false, the worldview they had been shaped into was also false, and now they were about to collapse.

Seeing Natasha and Coulson looking unwell, Lu Yi laughed!

He snapped his fingers, bringing them back to their senses, then didn't say anything else. He gestured for Coulson to follow him and casually closed the door.

Then, Lu Yi wrapped his arms around Natasha's slender waist. Before her astonishment had fully faded, he lifted her off the ground and flew toward a direction on the grassland.

Seeing this, Coulson didn't dare waste time. He stepped on the gas, driving the truck after Lu Yi, speeding toward the same direction.

Flying is humanity's ultimate dream. Coulson hadn't received the same treatment as Natasha, so he couldn't enjoy such an experience.

Natasha, held in Lu Yi's arms, quite enjoyed it. In his embrace, she stretched out her arms as though she too were flying.

Most women would do the same.

But unfortunately, Natasha was not an ordinary woman, and she didn't display the attitude of a little girl.

She ignored those feelings and instead looked around, carefully observing and studying the surroundings. She wanted to know whether everything was real.

"There's no need to study—it's all real. Your vision and sense of smell aren't deceiving you!"

"How did you do it? Space travel?"

She still couldn't believe there was a grassland hidden inside a house. It was too unbelievable.

She would rather believe it was all due to a spatial teleportation device installed on the door than that a real grassland existed inside.

"What you see is all there is!"

"But your house isn't that big!"

"Space magic. I expanded the space inside my home a little, and I made the ceiling transparent!"

"How big is it exactly?"

"Interested?"

"Yes. Would you be willing to share? If not, that's fine too."

"There's no harm in telling you. To me, it doesn't matter. On the contrary, your S.H.I.E.L.D. would be even more afraid of me!"

Natasha could only smile awkwardly at that. She truly had no rebuttal, because Lu Yi was right.

This would only make S.H.I.E.L.D. more afraid.

"My house is now about the size of two hundred standard soccer fields. I divided it into two parts. What you're seeing now is the first part—the grassland. Now let's go to the second part!"

"What's the second area?"

"You'll see. We're here!"

Lu Yi and Natasha had already begun descending—they had truly arrived at the second area.

The second area was silver-white.

There was a silver-white plaza, some silver-white decorations floating in the air, and some iconic buildings with a strong metallic feel.

Together with the bottomless abyss surrounding this place as far as the eye could see, it all gave people an incredibly sci-fi feeling.

"Is this abyss real or fake?" Natasha asked cautiously, feeling slightly dizzy as she approached the edge.

Visually, the abyss looked extremely real. The image reflected on her retina fully proved this.

But sensory-wise, it seemed off. It was too quiet here, and there was no wind.

How could there be no wind at the edge of an abyss?

"It's fake! It's a special kind of painting. Everything looks so real—even things can move—but it's all fake! Come with me!"

After saying that, Lu Yi stepped onto the abyss and walked toward the plaza, one step at a time.

Natasha gritted her teeth and followed closely behind him.

At that moment, Coulson happened to be driving past in the truck. After a slight hesitation, he also drove in.

Unlike Natasha, who quickly relaxed, Coulson began trembling with fear as he drove toward the abyss.

It wasn't until the truck arrived at the plaza that the feeling faded.

"All right, we're here. You can get out now! It's our turn to take over!"

Coulson quickly got out of the truck. He had been tense the whole way, but now he could finally breathe.

After Coulson got out, Lu Yi didn't delay any further. He waved his hand, and the container doors opened out of thin air. With another wave, the items inside the container emerged slowly like an army, neatly arranging themselves on the plaza.

"All right, I'm sure everything is done!"

"Aren't you going to take a careful look at what's inside?"

"No need. No one can fool me—not even S.H.I.E.L.D. or the U.S. government!"

"That's the right mindset!"

Natasha agreed, but she was worried inside. She hoped that the U.S. government and S.H.I.E.L.D. had no intention of deceiving Lu Yi, otherwise there would be trouble.

Coulson seemed to have similar concerns, his face full of worry.

He could barely trust S.H.I.E.L.D., let alone the U.S. government. Those filthy politicians were truly untrustworthy.

Sigh… He wished those politicians were smarter. Honest people don't normally curse, but if they do, it means they've been pushed to the edge—and now he was one of those people being cornered. He didn't want to take the blame for those politicians.

"Since you're here, how about a cup of coffee together?"

The invitation for coffee was spontaneous, mainly because he saw Coulson had arrived. Coulson and Natasha were useful to Lu Yi and worth befriending.

"Sure!" The two looked at each other and spoke in unison.

They were extremely curious about this place. This was a great opportunity to learn more—they wouldn't miss it.

As for the agents outside, let them wait. It didn't matter.
