As he was relieved from the pain, both assailant gained experience but was enough to level up, especially Noire.
"Fuck! What do you mean 148/150 experience! That is just 2 experience short, damn it!" Noire grumbled in anger, Xavier was the same and was not enough experience to level up.
"Each level's experience bar is calculated by multiplying the current experience to 1.5x." Xavier shared his theory, this was the same thoughts as Noire.
The three didn't rest there for too long, afraid that an ambush might happen if the goblin boss noticed the guards before his lair, thus the group climbed their way through the emergency exit and arrived at the desolate rooftop.
There, corpse of humans laid on the ground, these bloody bunch of corpse make a small hill of dead bodies.
There is no structures like camps as the twin expected, but only another pile of corpses that formed a small throne of the death.
To their surprise, the goblin that sat there is also not from their expectations of a bulkier and taller goblin. No, it was a skinny, covered in dark robe goblin with a visible white beard on it's face.
The dark robe was engraved with green patterns as he held a staff similar to Eleanor, with the end being a skull, more larger, akin that of a human. Both it's eyes glowed a green light as the skin goblin too.
"Necromancer!" Xavier shouted as he ran forward, not giving time for the necromancer goblin to make a move to make their situation worse.
Noire kneeled and aimed a long crimson spear infront of her clasped hand as blood fueled it with a stock of blood that coiled around her arms.
It took a atleast 3 seconds for a 2 meter long crimson spear to appear as Noire's reservoir of blood is just recycled and not warm enough for easy flexibility. She doesn't want to exlude more blood as her skin was already pale because of the lack in blood.
Their distance from each other is atleast 100 meters, after all the necromancer goblin is in the edge of the rooftop whereas the emergency exit they went off is half the way in terms of the building length.
By the time Noire finished casting the crimson spear, Xavier was already twitching in pain because of the buff, though it boost his physical body including speed and strength, thus he arrived at the side of the necromancer goblin by the time the crimson spear was shot.

Xavier made a great slash sideways from his right towards the side of the necromancer goblin at the same time, the spear flew faster.

The silver sword didn't manage to cut the necromancer goblin, instead, it was blocked by a giant pale bone that suddenly sprouted in the ground. It was a whole arm made out of bones with a length of atleast 2 meters.
Pshhh!
The crimson blood spear was fast but instantly make contact to a target sooner thag it was supposed to be.
From the supposed target, appeared a line of moving corpses that absorbed the shock and speed of the spear and before it got close to the necromancer goblin, the crimson spear was already worn out and the blood condensed into small blob that flew back to Noire.
"Tsk! Eleanor, physical buff!" Noire ran forward as she readied her sheated katana on left waist, Eleanor nodded and immediately gave Noire a physical buff, making the latter twitch in pain but there is more visible gained as she became more faster.
Whoosh!
The five zombies that are near the necromancer goblin and the surviving zombies from the crimson spear was instantly sliced in half as Noire unsheathed the katana.
Luckily, there are no other goblins in the rooftop, making Eleanor safe to provide buff, but still guard herself with a much more refined dagger Noire found in the 4th floor earlier.
Xavier side still fought the long pale bone arms, each one deploying a great blows that Xavier managed to withstand but the pain was making him lose focus.
Luckily, there is only two arms... Supposed there is another one reserved by that bastard for Noire, atleast she can take it head on.
Xavier can't find a momentum to deliver a huge blow to atleast crack and destroy one of the arms and added to that are zombies approaching him constantly.
"I don't think he had enough mana to keet this fight long!" Shouted Noire as she sliced her way through the zombies onto the necromancer goblin and as expected, a third arm sprouted from the ground, obstructing her way to deliver a blow to the necromancer goblin.
3... 2... 1... Crimson Needles!
At a second, from Noire's nose flow a warm blood that quickly turned into a pencil sized needle ghat immediately shot forward, missing the long pale bones and drived to the necromancer goblin's skull.
A hole appeared in the necromancer goblin's forehead, it slowly limped its body to the ground as the pale bone arms slowly disintegrated in the air in a form of dust.
"Fucking finally!" Xavier sighed in relief, but was instantly changed as she glanced at Noire.
Noire also saw this, the corpse of the necromancer goblin slowly floated and floated until it was 3 meters high.
Sensing an immediate danger, Noire and Xavier had the same thought in mind.
Run!
As the corpse flew in the air, its green ghastly eyes suddenly shone and expanded as it was about to surrounded the whole face then.
Boom!
It exploded into green mist, shrouding the whole building in a matter of seconds. By this time, the three arrived at the 4th floor. There is no bad effects brought by the green mist but after passing the dead goblin brutes, Noire and Xavier immediately sense their presence to be alive again.
Turning around while running, they saw the goblin brute corpses to slowly stood up, locking their ghastly green eyes towards the three and immediately shrieks and ran forward.
By this, Eleanor is no longer giving them buffs, and is the rear since she was naturally physically weak in terms of speed and strength thus she was left behind.
Though the two didn't left her since she has still uses and a unique class, they made their way until the library, using its connection towards the 2nd floor to arrived there quickly.
The ran was obstructed by many variables mainly the zombies that kept chasing them and other surviving goblins. It was weird that the goblins was not being attacked by the zombies, it made the three life's harder.
At the first floor, they met a group of survivors with their classes being used such as mage and swordsman. They are wounded as they fought a goblin brute for the second time.
The three didn't gave them even the intention of talk, they made their way towards the nearest room. Arriving at the office, there is considerate amount of zombies but after killing so many of them, both two complained that they didn't give any rewards at all thus they decided to just clear the nearest zombies in their way before escaping the green mist shrouded building by using the window.
Huff! Huff! Huff!
The three panted in exhaustion as they sat before a tree and to their front is the green mist shrouded building, still lingering with malicious intent and noises.
After observing the surroundings, the three finally sighed in relief before tiredly slumped to the ground.

The green mist in the building is still lingering there and the three rested their stamina after atleast 30 minutes.
"I didn't manage to glimpse upon the surrounding of the building at the rooftop during and after the fight, the only thing I know is smokes and fire in the surrounding buildings." Xavier drank a mouthful of water from Noire's bag, sharing it in return to the owner and Eleanor next.
During their rest, the experience rewards was divided into 6/4 ratio with Eleanor receiving 100 experience from the 10% of the 1000 experience rewards and 100 coins.
Thus, Noire received 600 experience and 60 gold while Xavier received a total of 1,000 experience and 84 coins due to the double experience and gold gain.
Noire was now level 8 with a bar of 36/505 experience. Expending the rewards to the skill "blood augmentation" into level 3 and the "blood conjuring" to masteral level.
By this time, I can make my blood to warm up using blood augmentation and also warm up the coiled blood reservoirs. But I'm still a little dizzy and headache from the loss of blood... I can't use it anymore and needed to demand my physical body instead. That is also the reason why I didn't use the blood augmentation earlier.
Unlike Noire, Xavier benefited the most with his double experience gained.
