Max now being unconscious his friends are trying to wake him up, but with no response no matter how hard they try to actually make him wake up. from soft taps, then a slap, the to them shaking at him till he awakes, but none of those methods work. Rayn even brought out some smelling salts as he accidently put in his pocket before he left his house. he points the smelling salts takes a whiff and immediately retracts his arm back feeling the effects of the smell, he then moves the smelling salts towards Max's nose but that has no affect. "what happened to Max?! even smelling salts had done nothing." Rayn started to feel annoyed as Carmlien started to feel worried.
"He must have over used his powers" Shard showing concern for Max
"You guys get sick when using your power?" Rayn looking towards the crystal brothers in question
"No but since he is still human it might take some time till he's fully acquainted with the crystals" Glim scoffing at Max
"That's not helping!" Rayn yelling at Glim
"What ever all we need to do is carry him all the way back to the boat". Carmlien and Rayn then carries Max by the shoulder and tries to take him back to Lensfer and Sarah, but were suddenly stopped by the crystal brother.
"What are you doing we need to help Max pronto!"
"Why do you think we brought Max here, was it to kill him. Heavens no this was met to be his first mission"
"Mission? What mission?"
"By the order of our King, and my father. Orlov instructed us to bring Max here and help him ward off the Auro-amity feeding off our life source"
"Yeah here give this to Max" Glim pulls out a piece crystal towards Carmlien and Rayn
"What is it?"
"What do you think its a crystal"
"No but what type of crystals there's a reason why I have a full gallery of crystals that I categorize" Carmlien said with sass
"It's a piece from our titan Minrallia"
"Wait did you say titan?"
"Indeed with this crystal form our home world. It may be enough to save Max" Carmlien and Rayn were shocked in fear as they heard the word that their friend Max is dying "wait you mean Max is dying. You can say that out of nowhere!" Rayn being quick to denial.
"You speak the truth tempered one. Due to the process of crystallization, it wasn't full complete due to Max quick thinking off decapitating his own arm off with a chisel. His core wasn't fully connected to his arm, and King Orlov has been trying to stabilize it ever since"
"Ever since?! It's been only a week and Max wasn't feeling sick at all!"
"Rayn we once saw Max decimated an entire wall at one of the stalls. Could that be a side effect?"
"Unfortunately yes uncontrollable power is one of them"
"Is there a way to help him"
"In theory with the help of our titan. He can speak freely to our god".
Suddenly Glim stabs the crystal into Max's chest with his core is lodged with the shock from everyone. "Brother what was that for!?" "when you want to speak to our god it's always the core. Brother have you've been skipping Miss Spiral's lessons all those years ago" Glim looking at Shard.
As the crystal lodged in Max chest, starts to seep into the crystal core, as his arm and core begins to glow brightly as they now witness every part of the cavern with crystals started to glow that each give off a different hue of colours. Everyone is amazed by every crystals, then suddenly they all begin to shake as each crystals started to shake one by one soon falling to the ground "its starting" "what's starting, what is happening?!".
An earthquake soon to happen they all then feel the ground moving soon they all witness a huge crystal started to emerge from the ground.
"Amazing how did this happened"
"Its all thanks to our titan". Suddenly Max wakes up, now feeling more drained as to before.
"Max are you alright"
"I'm fine... but my head still hurts what happened... and why are my nostrils burning?". Carmlien and Rayn looked at each other with concern, but they first begin to explains the events that had unfolded about the Auro-amity and the giant crystal appeared after Glim used a crystal of Minrallia on Max, but they do not tell him that he is slowly dying as to not worry him further. "So that's what happened when I blacked out. Okay thanks for looking after me" as Carmlien and Rayn chuckle to themselves nervously, and Max proceeds to get up from the ground and brush off the dust off himself. But suddenly feels a huge connection from the large crystal in front of them.
"Hey Max what's wrong?"
"I hear something"
"What is it saying?"
Suddenly Max places his hand onto the large crystal and every part of Max's part with crystals started to glow once again and he began to absorb the large crystal letting with merge with his arm as it all grows smaller and smaller till it all reformed into Max's arm but Max was then pulled back by Rayn and Carmlien.
"Max what are you doing?! Don't just stick your hand into random places!" Rayn shouting furiously over his friend's actions
"Sorry Rayn. But someone was calling to me"
"Someone calling to you?! That doesn't stick it in"
"Never mind that, where are the crystal brothers" as they look around they see that there no traces of the Shard and Glim anywhere. But Rayn and Carmlien immediately look towards Max and his crystal arm "what?"
"We all know that the last time them is when they went into you arm Max"
"Well how about that we don't stay here in the Caverns any longer. I still have bad memories here"
"Fine let's go. Wait where's Rayn"
They both look around and see Rayn picking something off the ground "Rayn what are you doing"
"Well since we're down here. I-uh decided to pick up this feather that was plucked from those Auro-amity, as a trophy"
"Fair enough let's go". As Max and Carmlien started to walk away and slowly making their way towards the surface, Rayn first looking around for his surroundings, knowing that Max and Carmlien already left him for now. Then secretly picks up an egg and puts it away inside his bag before heading off with the others as they make their way back further up into the Crystal Cavern soon towards the surface as they do not know how deep they are in without their guide. As danger might happened anywhere and anytime.
