Back into the mines of the crystals caverns Rayn and Carmlien are grabbing as much crystals as they can and putting it into Carmlien's satchel as they work hard to grab the needed crystals to help Max in his battle against Spiral.
"Do we need quartz?"
"No Rayn we need amethyst, pyrite, and perhaps some celestite would also do. basically only the crystal Max knows how to use."
"Can you at least tell me what colour it suppose to be?"
"Just grab whatever you can that may be valuable to Max".
They manage to grab many crystals beyond the grind, till they have enough crystals to head back to Max. Until they then see a sudden movement with a jolt of speed heading towards them, Rayn and Carmlien immediately started to run away in fearful for Spiral chasing them, but then Max then moves fast till he stops in front of them.
"Carm, Rayn it's me" the both of them sighs in relief.
"Max you could have warned us"
"Wait if your here then what about Spiral". Suddenly they began hearing cracks from the wall Max create.
"A shoot she's breaking in. Don't worry I got this" as Max was about to keep Spiral occupied the crystal from Minrallia suddenly vanished.
"Oh no what happened" they asked.
"The power of Minrallia ran out"
"We're doomed aren't we"
"Rayn did you forget why we're here".
Then Carmlien showed Max the satchel that her and Rayn grabbed for Max "you are really a lifesaver Carm" then Max proceeds to grab a piece of pyrite and a piece of celestite and crushes than both to gain the boosted he needed to fight Spiral for now. As they suddenly hear crystals shattering.
"Great Spiral must have broken the wall by now" soon feeling the enhancement from the crystals.
"You two better get out of hear while I'm distracting Spiral" but then they see a beam of light heading towards them.
"Everyone get behind me!" As Max quickly form a shield to protect them all from Spiral's laser attack.
"since when they could fire lasers!?"
"I don't know and now's not the time"
Then Max retaliate as he moves with a jolt of movement bouncing off from crystal from crystal, soon making his way towards the entrance of the caverns but was met with a punch from Spiral flinging him back towards Carmlien and Rayn they shriek in fear for their friend getting heavily injured as they were running to attempt to catch up to him.
"You think it's that easy just using simple crystals to keep pace with me" as she laughed proudly. "Let's hope Minrallia's champion can withstand this"
Then she starts punching the entrance of the crystals caverns as it cause a cave in within the caverns. Max, Rayn, and Carmlien are now trapped, Rayn doesn't hesitate but to try to grab rocks off the pile, as Carmlien is trying to aid Max as he is having trouble to breath.
"Carm what's wrong with Max"
"That's punch it must have broken his rib cage" Rayn stops digging as he immediately runs towards and attempts to aid Max.
"Do you have a first aid kit"
"No, but doesn't Lensfer has one"
"He's all the way at his ship. And if you didn't notice we're trapped!" Suddenly they both then witness Max's arm glowing brightly again and his arm started stretch and move freely this frightened both Carmlien and Rayn but instead it heads for Carmlien's satchel as it grabs a piece of quartz and crushes it before redirecting itself back into Max arm, as it started to turn white and a glow surrounds Max as they witness his wounds being healed magically as he suddenly wakes up from his concussion which gave Carmlien and Rayn the joy that their friends is aright.
"Max are you okay? How's your ribs"
"I can't say, its as if my bones were magically heal" Max feeling his chest trying to feel any rigged areas of fractures but notice all fractured ribs were healed.
"The quartz it must have healed you, amazing"
"It could be" then Max gets up from the ground and suddenly turns his crystal arm into a drill.
"Max when did you get the thought of a drill"
"I don't know, I guess since we're in a cave I should've brought proper mining equipment".
Then revving the drill and points it towards the rocks collided together "you two better hold on to me" and creates a shell around the all as with a jolt of movement and the revving of the drill.
They all rush through all the debris and out through the entrance of the caverns and piecing through Spiral's back, splitting her into two then landing back onto ground and the crystal shell created by Max forms back into his arm. Carmlien and Rayn still feeling the excitement of moving with a jolt of movement with Max, as they are trying to catch their breaths.
"You guys okay" Max looking back at his friends.
"Sure, just let us catch our breaths"
"You better do it quickly" as Rayn and Carmlien look towards them with confusion.
They all witness Spiral quickly reforming herself to her beastly form, as Max grabs another piece of pyrite and celestite and crushes it in his palm feeling the energy coursing within him. He then leaps with a jolt of movement moving upon onto any smooth rock that glimmers enough for Max to move with a jolt of movement thanks to the celestite he use to enhance his speed. close enough towards Spiral for Max to unleash a mighty punch thanks to the pyrite, causing Spiral to puke out a few shards of crystals onto the ground and allows Max to move onto them with a jolt of movement. He continues to unleash a barrage of punches from every time moves with a jolt of movement as his friends are watching with confidence and concern in their eyes.
"Hey Carmlien don't you think it would work off soon"
Carmlien suddenly felt realization flowing down her spine, "your right" Carmlien began to empty her satchel revealing all the crystals she gathered from the cavern and picks up a piece of amethyst "Max catch!" Carmlien throws the amethyst towards Max as he is quick to react and catches the amethyst and crushes it making him calm though also letting the enhancement from the celestite to wore off quicker. But is still making use of his power and Spiral is trying to unleash massive attack towards Max. He is staying calm while deflecting Spiral's attacks.
"Those crystals you're using, to gain enhancement from them it would only get you less far from where I am now" Spiral sending a barrage of crystal spikes all around her area and Max is dodging with ease but notice that the spikes are not aiming towards him, but at his friends. Quickly reacting without question. He landed on the ground he summons a large platform and lifting all his friends a few feet off the ground enough to avoid the crystal spikes. But left in the open to get punched by Spiral launching him towards Lensfer's boat cutting it into two pieces and they can hear the subtlety of Lensfer witnessing his boat being destroyed, he screamed his lungs out as he fall to his knees.
"Sorry Lensfer I swear I'll fix it when this is over" as he leaps away from Lensfer boat while making the damage even deeper. Leaping towards Spiral with his hand turned into a blade and moves with a jolt of movement, all the way behind to slash at Spiral back but Spiral dodges his attack and retaliates by punching him away from Spiral, and Max lands safe fully onto his feet while Carmlien throws two piece of crystal towards Max.
"try to use the zircon on Spiral maybe the same effects would happened to her as it did to you".
Max nods and grabs the celestite that Carmlien threw towards him and crushes it and grabs the zircon before moving with a jolt to movement and making his way towards Spiral as she fires multiple shards towards Max, but that only allowed him to move onto the shards reflection and manages to make his way onto Spiral's head. Spiral started to shake and move relentlessly as to try to get Max off her head, but Max is managing to stay onto Spiral's head, but is slowly losing his footing, and quickly covers the bottom of his shows with crystal spikes as he jams it into the back of Spiral's head to improve his footing as he forms his arm into a drill and started to drill into Spiral's head trying to make it big enough to fit the zircon into her head. As he finish drill Spiral attempts to summon spikes upon her head to pierce through Max, Max quickly breaks his arm off the drill and forms a sword to slash all the spikes on top Spiral's head and quickly grabs the drill back into his arm, then shoves the zircon into Spiral's head and breaking it within Spiral, forcing her to engulf the enhancement from the zircon. As Max quickly gets off from Spiral's head and making his way back onto the ground as he lands safely, turning around and witnessing Spiral's whole body began to spread with the colour of zircon turning her body into a bright blue as her body begins to weigh her down, dropping her whole body towards the ground.
"I guess different crystals do effect Crystellions as well".
But suddenly Max sees Spiral managing to bring herself back onto her feet "you think a messily crystal would stop me! You are mistaken" but Max doesn't hesitate as he leaps towards Spiral and slashes at Spiral's arm cutting clean off from her shoulder as she falls towards where her arm was slashed off "do me a favour and stay there. It's about time you yield Spiral" as he tries to walk away towards his friends.
"Yield?! A Crystellion warrior would never yield to a mortal like you" as her eyes suddenly turned darkened "Max it's not over yet" Carmlien made a sudden gasp and his friends trying to point out towards the upcoming danger towards Max. Max quickly turns around towards Spiral's body to witness something suspicious to his eyes.
