Cloud slowly drag the bear's bodies to where he left his cart.
Dragging three bears is very heavy and even at Cloud's level he has to put in a lot of effort.
But he is not complaining and he treat it as training. It probably is more effective than the light training he did at the inn.
He slowly inch away toward his cart. On the way, there occasionally some beasts that after the bear's bodies, following the scent of its blood but Cloud easily chase them away.
It's also the reason he can't leave the body and get the cart to it instead. There are just too many beasts around.
If he leave the bodies to get the cart then when he gets back there would be nothing left.
After he reach the cart the journey became easier.
He decides that he hunted enough for the day so he tie the bodies to the cart and pull the cart to the city.
It's already afternoon when he arrive at the city.
The city guard that recognize him was surprised when Cloud reached the gate, bringing three bears with him.
He is a guard so he has some strength but he is not confident he can hunt that many alone.
But Cloud who is younger than him did just that.
But he said nothing and let Cloud pass normally. He just remind himself to remember Cloud more now.
Before, he remember because Cloud gave him some extra money but now he would remember because Cloud seems to be someone worth remembering.
From the gate to the inn, Cloud gets a lot of attention.
A youngster like him drawing a cart full of large beasts is not common.
It's quite surprising that such a small body is drawing such a heavy cart. But people also understand the meaning.
It just means that he is stronger than he looks and you shouldn't provoke him lightly.
But there are some people who look at him with greed on their faces as well.
Cloud ignore the stares and soon, he arrives at the inn. He left his cart on the stables at the back that are used by guesses who have horses and he call the innkeeper.
The innkeeper follow him to the back and was surprised when he sees the cart.
He thought that the young boy beside him would hunt some small beasts and was prepared for one but unexpectedly its three large beasts instead.
The innkeeper turn to look at the boy beside him. Cloud look back with a calm gaze.
Then the innkeeper's eyes glint like he just understand something.
The next moment he count for a moment and offer fourty five copper coins for the bear.
Cloud think that the price is fair and he agrees.
But the innkeeper also give him a bonus of three days stay at the inn and said that its an acquaintance gift.
Clearly, the innkeeper knows how to do business. He gave Cloud a bonus so that Cloud would sell to him again.
Cloud understand this but he didn't think much of it. As long as the innkeeper pay a fair price he would sell the beasts to him.
Cloud's days went on like this. Almost everyday he hunt beasts.
Sometimes he sharpen his blade at the blacksmith and sometimes he buy supplies like clothes and medicine.
Some people follow him one day to try to rob him but their bodies are now in the belly of some beasts.
Cloud doesn't like provoking others but if people provoke him, he would show them no mercy.
The people that tried to rob him clearly made some plans beforehand. They brought five people but they didn't expect that Cloud would be a lot stronger than expected.
He has already break through to the seventh stage when that happened.
Killing people for the first time didn't affect him much. But he didn't hunt the next day after that to contemplate the event.
He came from a world where killing is not common but he also understand that this world is different.
It only takes a little time for him to adjust his state of mind and reaffirm his heart.
After all, if he keeps walking the path he is currently walking, then such a things would be inevitable.
After that, things went smoothly for him.
Now a month has passed since he first arrive at the city.
At this day, there seems to be a big event that's going to happen at the city.
