"Hoh... That was quite smart." The city lord commented. He then turn to look at Xiao Han.
"That would only fool a child." Xiao Han shake his head and said from beside the city lord.
"He is strong enough to fight head on. Why bother use such a childish trick? He's just looking for attention." Xiao Han commented harshly.
"Hahahaha.... He is still young. It's normal that he likes playing around. We should focus on seeing the future potential instead." Said the city lord.
Xiao Han nodded, then calmed down after hearing that.
He agrees with the city lord. Its just that he gets too worked up when it comes to his brother.
Perhaps its because he is his brother that he expected more out of him.
Or perhaps he is afraid that his brother's carefree nature would turn their family into a laughingstock.
After this round, there is another short break.
There are only three participants left so they all have pretty much been recruited to Bright Moon Sect.
The next round is only to find out the rankings of the three. To see their capabilities further.
When the break is still on, a guard is closing in on the city lord.
"Sir!" The guard greet with a daoist salute.
"I've investigated what you asked."
"And?" The city lord asked.
"Yes, the boy Cloud arrived at the city one month ago. He stayed at an inn, in the city since. He work as a hunter. He goes up the mountain almost everyday to hunt beasts."
The guard report all his findings. He pretty much learned all Cloud's history since he arrived at the city.
He told the city lord that Cloud came from a secluded village deep inside the mountain.
This is not really a secret since Cloud has told this to some acquaintance before.
The guard also tell the chief that Cloud was quite popular a while ago since he hunted a few large beasts everyday.
But the popularity gradually diminishes as Cloud hunted less often this past one or two weeks.
That's pretty much everything.
"I see..." The city lord nod after hearing everything.
No wonder nobody knows about Cloud. He was secluded deep in the mountain until one month ago. Its quite reasonable that nobody knows him.
Now that he knows the story, he doesn't think that Cloud is suspicious anymore. He just think that Cloud is a little mysterious.
After all, such a high cultivation at such a young age can't normally be done without the backing of some powerful family or force.
The city lord is a little curious about the force behind Cloud. But he didn't think much of it.

The city lord nod to this. He also thought that there shouldn't be any more to this than what meets the eye.
Cloud seems to simply want to join the sect to further his cultivation path.

The first match would be Cloud against Xiao Fan. The three would fight each other one by one so it doesn't matter who comes up first.
But Cloud who automatically passed the last round would go first.
As for the other two, they talked and Xiao Fan decides to come up first.
The two went up to the arena.
When the battle start, Xiao Fan makes his move right away. He dash around like he did in the last round.
But this time, his speed is even more impressive.
Cloud also watched the previous round, so he already prepare a countermeasure for this.
He slowly enter a stance. He has seen that Xiao Fan need to build up his speed before he start attacking so Cloud is in no hurry.
Cloud's stance is a muay thai stance. He put his arm in front of his face and his right leg in front while his center of gravity is in his left leg at the back.
Yes, it is a southpaw stance.
In his past life, Cloud trained in many Martial arts. He tried a couple dozen kinds but in the end, he only trained three kinds to its depth.
One of those three is Muay Thai.
