The military defensive area on the outskirts of Oakdale belongs to The 5th Military Region. Throughout The 5th Military Region, consisting of several group armies, there are 50,000 members in total, with the incoming and outgoing numbers staying relatively stable each year.
Walter Mitchell's pride back then was certainly justified. Just imagine, among 50,000 soldiers per military district, 1.8 million soldiers in the 36th Army, being selected as one of the 36 in Crestview's Vanguard Corps was indeed rare.
Ever since the departure of The Vanguard Trio, Tobby Curry, Edward King, and Jason Davis, it has been difficult for The 5th Military Region to produce another star-level warrior. This often led to jokes from soldiers of other regions on the military forum, ridiculing that The 5th Military Region would likely rank at the bottom this year.
