Chapter 32 - White Feline

This beautiful boy with pure white hair and blue eyes sat there in class. He sat there in silence looking forward. I sat next to him and looked at him the entire time before class started. I was afraid of everybody looking at me. But no, they were looking at the boy. They stared at him, and he was so unbothered. He was in his own world, and for weeks I stared at him. Eventually I gained the courage to speak.

"Hey, you."

He looked out the window and didn't even turn back. Seconds went by and I looked at him with no response. I grew embarrassed as I heard tiredness.

"Yo."

"You're Sakura, right?"

He didn't even look at me.

"Please call me, Yori."

I blushed.

"You want me to call you by a nickname even though we only met today?

He continued to look out the window, mesmerized by the sky.

"No, we're not close. Not at all. Why are you even talking to me?"

"I want to be friends."

"Talk to someone else. You don't want to be friends with me."

"Uh, okay."

As I walked home, I looked at the river. There was something majestic about it, then I looked to the side and saw the boy. He stared at the river along with me. Then he walked away, some girls walked up to me as his figure disappeared.

"Why are you talking to Sakura?"

"Um, I-I just want to be friends with him."

"Please don't do that, he's like a celebrity. You're not supposed to talk to him."

"What? I'm gonna talk to him if I want to."

"Tch. You're such a bitch."

I turned around and rammed into the boy. He looked down at all of us.

"Hey, Sora. Could you do my homework for me?"

"What? No!"

"Then could you at least help me?"

"Um okay, but I have to go home first."

"Are you allowed to have guys over? I really need to finish this tonight before I go home."

"Um, yea."

He grabbed my hand and thanked me.

We worked on his homework all night. It was morning and time for school. We walked through the hall together and as we stood in front of the classroom I grabbed his jacket.

"I'm…I'm scared. What if they look at me?"

He looked back at me and chuckled.

"Why would people be looking at your face? I mean you are good looking but I look way better so they should be looking at me not you."

I don't know why such an arrogant comment made me feel so good. But it did. I grabbed him with all my might and hugged him tightly. As we walked into class everybody screamed at the top of their lungs.

Haha, I'm his one and only friend.

"I'm his friend too."

A boy with yellow eyes and black hair danced next to Sakura. Rubbing on his hair. Why is this the first time I'm seeing him?
