I took off my jacket, bursting with excitement. And Yoichi stretched right next to me. Jaylon walked past me and I couldn't help but get close to him and rub in his defeat.
"Looks like your kingdom has fallen. Now, it's time for death to reign upon this king."
Jaylon walks to the bench defeated. Thinking to himself about the loss. He didn't know who to blame, because there was only one person who couldn't stand with the elites. Him.
Kickoff begins and I charge at Roman.
"How boring."
He steals the ball from me but I keep running. Yoichi immediately steals the ball from Roman and darts through the defense. I dashed past him and he passed it to me, I passed back. We one two passed through the defense. Roman tries to steal the ball but Yoichi flicks the ball up and stares at the prodigy.
"Think harder than that loser."
Yoichi passes to me but Flugel crashes into me.
"You can't do anything alone! You're predictable."
I nutmegged him and launched the ball into the net.
"This is my kingdom now."
Kickoff begins and Roman passes to Yoichi as if he is on his team. Everybody on our team looks in disbelief. Yoichi dribbles forward and Roman guards me tightly, stopping me from getting close to Yoichi. Yoichi gets to the goal and winds up a shot.
"Don't look at me."
Yoichi passes the ball to a random teammate and it hits him in the face.
"Oooo my bad!"
"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING, YOICHI?!"
Flugel smiles as everything goes according to his plans. Valeri is being guarded by Sol and getting his shot course blocked by Igor. Even if the score is 1-1, this was a win in his eyes.
