The world was dim, twilight descended, and a full moon hung high in the sky. Inside the villa, the lights were bright, and two figures sat facing each other.
"So… You are Latias?" Kaito looked at the girl in front of him, stating with a definite tone.
Kaito had discovered her identity as early as the first time he saw the girl. He figured out the key—a Legendary Pokémon, restricted and lonely—and took her to play wildly for a day.
Latias nodded slightly, communicating with Kaito through telepathy in his mind. "Yes. Actually, I am a Pokémon, not a human. It seems you are not very surprised?"
Latias was a little surprised. She rarely revealed her identity, but she knew Kaito was a trustworthy person.

Kaito still secretly marveled. Latias was one of the younger members of her species, and her strength could still increase significantly. Latias originally lived in the waters outside Fu Province, but conceived the idea of seeing the vast world. Taking advantage of a great storm, she left and came to Fu Province alone. She found the city unfamiliar and felt uneasy until Kaito met her.
"So that's how it is. So what are you planning to do next? Will you go back, or do you want to continue staying in human society?"
Latias's eyelids drooped. "If possible, can I stay by your side?" she murmured in a voice almost like a whisper. Kaito's appearance had made her dependent; he was her only reliance in human society.
"Of course you can," Kaito smiled. "As long as you want, you can stay by my side for a lifetime."
Latias smiled sweetly. "Okay, then I'll stay by your side from now on."
"You seem to be quite popular with Pokémon." Latias sensed Kaito's growing aura. She continued, "I also have a gift I want to give you."
Kaito seemed to Detect a hint of jealousy in Latias's tone, perhaps his imagination.
As soon as she finished speaking, a ball of light separated from Latias's body. A rich energy bloomed, surging through Kaito's body. He could feel the dense Dragon-type energy around him. With just a thought, he could command this energy.
The system notified: Received Latias's Blessing.
Latias's Blessing: Effect 1: Can use Dragon-type moves like a Dragon-type Pokémon (specific power depends on one's level). Effect 2: Psychic Power enhanced. Kaito looked at his luxurious panel, understanding even more the importance of Fame Value. Look at how much I gained from this one mysterious event! He gained Dragon Taming Power, Power of Transformation, and a Level leap to Gym Leader-tier.

"Kaito, do you know my Psyduck?" Kaito asked, suddenly thinking of a possibility.
Latias quickly nodded: "Yes, I saw it before, and I gave it a Psychic blessing."
Everything made sense now. Kaito never thought Psyduck's strange potential was a casual blessing Latias had bestowed.
"Ga ga." Psyduck patted its belly, indicating that it was so hungry its front chest was touching its back.
"I'll go cook; let you taste my craftsmanship." Kaito picked up Latias on his way out. A full Level 105 of strength! With such a bodyguard, he almost didn't need to worry about his life's safety.
Considering that Latias is a Dragon-type Pokémon, Kaito used nuo nuo mushroom (a plausible translated ingredient) to make delicacies today.

Kaito raised his right hand, a ball of blue-violet energy danced in his palm. Then, he elongated the spherical shape into a column and blasted it towards a large rock in the distance.
Boom! The rock immediately exploded, most of it turning to dust. The power was not bad. He was now Gym Leader-tier; as long as he practiced more, it was indirectly equivalent to a Gym Leader-tier Dragon-type Pokémon.
Salamence was very excited at the sight. It quickly nudged Kaito with its head. Kaito could infuse Dragon Taming Power into Salamence, allowing its strength to increase significantly.
Afterward, Kaito tried several other Dragon-type moves. Excluding moves like Dragon Darts that require specific body structures, he could perform most of them.
Kaito then tried the Power of Transformation. With a thought, his body quickly dimmed until he was completely invisible. This invisibility also included effects like suppressing his presence.
When he was done playing, he returned to the villa to prepare for rest. Latias also stayed here for the night. Kaito gave her a thorough introduction to cell phones.
Latias discovered that many of the videos on PokéTube were related to Kaito. "Kaito, you're so amazing! So many people respect you," Latias said happily. She felt truly fortunate to have met Kaito.
