When Boris and Illena returned, they saw Adam talking to the other six mutants.
Their situation was similar, and they were also willing to sign the contract.
So, when Boris and Illena returned, they immediately got their attention.
"You've recovered!"
Adam nodded his head with satisfaction and introduced them.
"This is Boris and Illena. They have already signed the contract and completed their transformation."
"You should sign as well."
Just for confirmation, six of them looked at Boris and Illena, who nodded at the same time.
Seeing this, six of them signed together, and they disappeared.
"So, how do you feel?"
Adam asked, looking at Boris and Illena.
"I feel great. My ability has been improved, and my body is basically back to normal, as you can see."
Boris replied.
"And, I can hide my wings."
Illena excitedly replied. She even turned back to show the wings inside her t-shirt.
Although there was a bulge on her back, it didn't reveal the wings.
Adam also felt happy for them.
But at the same time, he also received a new piece of information from his boss/main body.
'If I absorb that energy, I will definitely awaken new powers. But I think I should keep the identity of Adam Grant.'
'I have not met my parents yet. So, I should create a new identity for that power.'
He eventually cooked up an idea and sent it to the main body.
Seeing him in deep thoughts, Boris and Illena didn't disturb him, while soon after, six of them returned.
All of them had a happy look, but it was clear that only two of them seemed quite different.
"You four?" Adam noticed this as well and asked.
"Did you become a normal human?"
"Yes, we have endured enough pain. We hope to be normal." The lady nodded her head.
"Okay!"
Adam nodded his head and said.
"You are not disappointed?" Another girl asked, her tone trembling.
After all, she was saved by Adam. But even so, she couldn't decide to remain a mutant.
"No!"
Adam wanted to say you made a wrong choice, but then decided not to spoil them.
"Let's continue our journey!"
He said.
Others had no choice but to follow him. Soon, they got tired of walking, especially the four of them who had turned into humans.
The base was quite deep within a forest.
Two days later;
Eight people went in different ways.
Four people who had become normal humans chose to find their families, while four mutants chose to follow Adam.
Of course, Adam couldn't take care of them, so he asked them to find X-Men and the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants.
Among them, three decided to find X-Men, while only one decided to visit the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants.
Finding them was hard, but they were adults.
Even Illena alone could find her way to Westchester County, where Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters was located.
After telling them what to do, Adam went to find his home.
He placed the sling ring on his fingers and closed his eyes for a moment. Due to Kurama, he had already learned teleportation magic.
Imagining his room, he started spinning his arm and soon, purple sparks emerged in mid-air, slowly opening the portal to his room.
The next moment, he walked into the portal and appeared in his room.
"Whoa!"
A little girl, around the age of ten, watched this with wide eyes and clapped her hands with excitement.
"Magic! Magic!"
Then, she saw someone she was very familiar with, and her excitement faded as tears started pouring out.
"Brother!"
She burst into tears as she ran towards Adam and hugged his waist.
"Brother is back, Jenny!"
"Huuu! Huuuu!"
The girl couldn't let out a word. She just kept crying and crying until the door of his room opened and a middle-aged woman walked in.
She saw Adam, and just like the girl, she also started crying.
But she didn't jump on him. She just stayed near the door, wiping away her tears.
Seeing this, even Adam couldn't help but shed tears. He extended his arm and nodded his head.
Only then did his mother rush in and hug him tightly.
There were no words but silent tears.
It took them quite a while to recover.
At this moment, his mom didn't look happy. Instead, she sadly asked.
"Are you going to leave soon?"
When she found out her son's mutant identity. She freaked out. She knew the condition of the mutants.
The problem was that her son never showed any kind of ability. He just called himself a mutant, so she thought it was just a joke.
Until he disappeared.
Days went by, months crossed, but he didn't return.
She was so heartbroken that she didn't know what to do. Their family tried to keep itself together.
But they clearly missed their son.
After a little bit of investigation, her husband found some terrible news.
It was rumored that many mutants were taken away for experimentation. And, even some governments were funding these experiments.
To them, it was clear that the government took their son for an experiment. But it was just a rumor.
They filed a missing persons case. It didn't work. They couldn't do anything to find their son.
So, when he returned, she was overjoyed. But she remembered his identity as a mutant.
It was clear that he wouldn't be able to stay in the house for long.
She even believed her son had somehow escaped the experiment base and run back home, just to meet them.
Of course, they would love to keep him.
Hearing that, Adam wiped away her tears and said.
"Why? You don't want me to stay."
"No, brother, you can't leave us!"
As soon as he said that, Jenny tightly hugged his legs and shouted.
Adam patted her head and said.
"Don't worry, your brother has completely changed his destiny."
Then, he looked at his mother, who seemed full of negativity and had aged quite a lot in just a few months.
He broke out a smile and said.
"Mom, I am no longer just a mutant. Nobody will cause us any trouble. Nobody will take me away."
Hearing that, his mother couldn't contain her tears and hugged him again. Although she didn't know why her son was so confident, she chose to believe in him.
"Yes, Brother can do magic. I also want to learn magic."
Jenny excitedly raised her hands, completely forgetting her previous mood.
At this moment, Alice broke the hug and scolded her daughter.
"What kind of nonsense are you talking? Your brother is not using magic."
Seeing this, Adam chuckled and said.
"Jenny isn't wrong, Mom. I did learn magic."
"Huh? Wait, there is magic in the world. Like real magic, not card tricks?" Alice stared at her son with wide eyes and asked.
"Well, this is what I can do for now, and also a Portal that I used to come here."
He said as he released a purple whip from his hand.
Seeing this, Alice gulped and asked.
"Isn't it your mutant ability?"
Alice shook his head and said.
"Mom, the world is much bigger than you can think. Well, in the future, I might not have a good reputation because of my position."
"But don't worry, I will never use my powers for evil." Adam knew his family would learn about his connection to the Dimensional Lord.
He was planning on telling them. It wasn't a secret to keep. In fact, he wanted the world to know he worked for a Dimensional Lord.
This would take quite a long time, but it was necessary to get into the circle of superheroes.
"What are you talking about? I just want you to use your powers to protect yourself." Alice pouted and slapped him on the head.
"Oh, I will go call dad. Then, we can talk about your disappearance."
She said and ran out of the room.
"Brother, will you teach me magic?"
Jenny raised her head towards her brother and asked with a cute expression.
She was just like a little doll. Her face melted his heart as she scooped her into his arms and said.
"Of course, I will make you into the world's most powerful magician."
"Yeah, I will become the world's most powerful magician. Brother, you must teach me that portal trick. I can use it to get ice cream for free."
"By the way, if I become the World's Most Powerful Magician, nobody will be able to stop me from eating all the ice cream, right?"
Jenny couldn't help but feel excited when she heard her brother's promise.
She even decided to tell her friends about her brother's powers.
"Jenny, I need you to keep everything about me a secret. Otherwise, bad people will take your brother away."
Adam reminded his sister immediately. He was truly worried that she might start telling others about magic.
This wouldn't be good. At least, not now!
