Chapter 29 - Battle War North

Before the illusory mists completely enveloped the frozen northern kingdom, the God of Fantasy stood silently on the cold snow. Amidst the howling wind through the mountain crevices, his mind involuntarily traveled back in time, returning to the bitter memories of countless ages ago.

Since his birth in the divine realm, he had always been the most despised god, reviled for his weak abilities. In a Divine Realm where glory was measured by destructive power and brutal Golden Mana shields, his dream-weaving, illusion-creating magic was considered rubbish, only fit for the entertainment of mortals. For tens of thousands of years, he lived in the shadow of cold indifference, enduring the contemptuous gazes of the arrogant northern gods.

Yet, this outcast never surrendered to fate. With unwavering will and terrifying patience, the God of Fantasy slowly studied and refined his power. Until one day, his power erupted, elevating him to the ranks of the supreme gods, allowing him to stand alongside those who had once scorned him.

Just as his destiny was beginning to flourish, the envy and depravity of the Divine Realm were revealed. A supreme god, fearing his position would be threatened, plotted against him, falsely accusing him of falling into evil, using inner demons for cultivation, and plotting rebellion.

They judged him in the name of justice, but little did they know the truth was far more horrifying. The God of Fantasy was not controlled by inner demons. In fact, through his genius, he transcended both extremes: Good and Inner Demons—things born to surpass all mortal concepts. He tamed both spiritual light and darkness, transforming them into tools for his fantasy power.

Ironically, driven by deep-seated hatred and fear of someone rising from the abyss, the supreme gods of the North paid no heed to his explanation. Although his power at that time surpassed both the good and evil extremes, under the combined pressure of the Divine Realm's grand formation, they conspired to seal away most of his supreme power, brutally stripping him of his divine status and casting him down to the "Dark Side" like mere trash.

"You fear my illusion, for you know it can turn your greatest fears into reality," the God of Illusion slowly opened his eyes, his gaze filled with interwoven, illusory galaxies and the black flames of hatred. "Today, I return to materialize that nightmare."

Standing beside him, the God of Death slowly raised his scythe, the mournful wails of souls mingling with the cold laughter of the two vengeful spirits. The North is cold, but today, the blood of the gods will melt the eternal ice.
