There was no better wood than the giant tree in this jungle. That might be the only one he could use. He brought an axe and cut the smallest branch that grew on another branch. That was the only way to find the right size, and the size that was easier to cut. The branch was the size of his arm, slightly smaller.
The branch was to his right as he sat cross-legged on top of the tree, not far from where he got his branch. He wondered how wood would work with his skill.
He recalled how humans manually forged the metal using fire. The metal melted under fire, but the wood would burn into ash with fire, though his skill didn't involve fire but mana. But it was still unknown how the skill would interact with the wood.
He held the wood that was a little bit longer than his entire arm in both of his palms. He recalled the process in his Dream while assuming the wood in his hand as a raw material, an ore. That meant he started with smelting.
