"Oh boy!" I narrowly manage to avoid the spikes being launched at me. 1 of them nearly hits me but Raven is able to deflect the bus
sized spike. He's been really handy ever since I gained my wings. Although I get the feeling he doesn't like that I can fly by myself now. He gets grumpy every time I do it. I send out 2 dozen rescue monkeys to catch the spikes
before they land and hit something. 3 B ranks falling out of the sky into different zones in the city is a pretty bizarre situation. I'm kinda grateful though, I get to deal with the 1 in zone T by myself since the defence force is mainly focusing on the other 2 because they're closer. The kaiju itself is pretty bizarre looking. An almost human sized insect like creature carrying an 50 foot tall pile of spikes on its back, able to fire them off at alarming speed. It just sorta shuffles around awkwardly, pushing cars out the way.
"Need some help?" Allister asks when I land on the roof I left him on, stretching his front paws while his tail swishes back and forth. I
look over and see the endless array of huge white boxes we call buildings. Most were fine except for a few cracks. The biggest damage was that a bunch of the colourful banners hung up around zone T were being torn down. T is far enough away from the wall to have some actually personality, with its focus on fashion leading to a lot of fabrics being attached to buildings to make banners. It's
really nice, I've come here before to draw. "Hey!" Allister snaps me out of my thoughts. "Do you or do you not need my help?" He asks with the most annoyed look I've ever seen on a 3 eyed cat. I should probably get back to work.
"Nah, I've got this." I casually reply before I jump off the roof. I land on ravens back and we fly towards the kaiju that I'm naming Spike. Not very creative but this'll be done soon so it doesn't really matter. I decide that I should use these battles as an opportunity to create more Kaiju. I shouldn't keep relying on the same over and over again. I send out 3 smaller versions of the fizzards to pin it down. They all manage to get a hold of the spikes. I can tell from the vibrations on some of them that Spike is trying to launch its spikes but can't because they're being held down. "I'm sorry for this! Light him up boys!" And with that the fizzards unleash a stream of fire
onto the spikes. Spike uses gases to launch his spikes, flammable gases. I create a dome of gummy bear matter to surround them just in time. The muffled BOOM is still quite pronounced. I retract the gummy bear matter and try something I think I got from a Louhi dream. Those are really fuzzy for me so I can't be sure. I hold out my wand and reach my thoughts out. I almost immediately find something. It feels purple, or as much as anything can feel purple I guess. I might be going a bit mental. I think about pulling the purple closer to me and even though I can't see it, I can feel that it is. I feel the wand vibrate for a second and then stop. Even though I've never tried this before, I know it worked. "Another victory for Kaiju boy!" I announce while doing a spin and pose, a wink with a piece sign.
"What was that?" Allister asks from down by my shin.
"I absorbed the remaining matter of its heart into the wand. And by extension, it's 'mind'. A much better alternative to just killing them you know?" I look down at the wand with a smile on my face. I feel a lot more open when I'm Kaiju boy. Welcome to the team spike.
"How does that work?".
"Not a clue.".
"Right. So you can create new kaiju you think of and absorb existing ones. Amazing.".
"I wouldn't oversell it if I was you. It only really works if the 'mind' doesn't resist. I can't just suck living ones in. If I could this fight would have been an hour shorter." I feel a tug on my cape and immediately spin around. I don't see anyone for a second until I notice the little dark spot at the bottom of my vision. I look down and see that it's a very young child, barley shorter than me. What a great boost to my ego. I crouch down so I can be eye to eye with him. "What's up little buddy? Where's your parents?" I try to give the friendliest smile I can.
"You have really pretty eyes." Not the answer I was expecting. I haven't had anyone comment on my pink eyes as Kaiju boy yet.
Mostly because they keep trying to arrest or kill me. Not a great situation for conversation.
"Aw, thank you. Your eyes are nice too. But what are you doing here? Where's your folks?".
"Are you here to save the world?" I feel like this is not a 2 way conversation.
"Of course. I'm a hero from the stars after all." I give him a wink. I think 'hero from the stars' should be my new tagline. "Ok but seriously we're are your parents? Are you lost?".
"Ricky!" A female voice comes from behind the child. I look up and see a middle aged blonde lady running up to us.
"Are you his mum?" I ask as she gets closer.
"Get away from him Ricky!" She grabs his wrist and runs back to the building I assume she came from. "He's dangerous!" No I'm not.
"Have a good day." I weakly call out. Well this sucks.
"Don't worry about it." Allister says. "People are ungrateful for your help. That's nothing new.".
"Yeah but it still hurts.".
"I get it. But you still have me you know." He says while clearly being embarrassed. That's cute. "And eventually, you'll save humanity
from lord star fall.".
"Aw, I love you too little buddy." I kneel down and rub his head.
"Shut up! Your so embarrassing!" Aw. I've started to see Allister as a bit of a little brother. Is that normal? "We have bigger problems!" As if on que, a spotlight shines on us. Seems a little redundant in the middle of the day but whatever.
"This is ranger squad alpha! Place your weapon down!" A speaker from the huge robot announces. I guess it's time to do this again. It was an awesome chase that would have a ton of bad cgi if it was a movie but
eventually we escaped to go home.
"That was terrifying!" I let out when we land on the beach.
"Yeah! I thought we were going to die!" Allister hops off my back.
"I thought that was going to be so much easier!" The adrenaline caused me to smile as I detransform.
"Let's celebrate being alive with biscuits!".
"Out of biscuits.".
"I will gut you where you stand!" I probably shouldn't laugh
at that but I do. Later on after some hours of drawing new Kaiju I decide to
get to sleep.
"Night Allister." I get no response. I guess he's on 1 of his nightly walks. I close my eyes and quickly drift off. I 'wake up' to the cold, as hundreds of snowflakes land and melt on my skin. I'm standing in front of the hut I met Louhi in, the yellow glow from the window indicating a fire inside. I could definitely use that right now. IM FREEZING!!! I open the door and a rather strange sight. A miniature stage with white mice in costumes acting on it. I think they're doing hamlet, although I won't pretend I know enough to actually confirm that. Louhi was sitting there, watching it with an amused smile. She was wearing the same simple white dress as last time, complete with the same large claw marks. When the wind comes in and causes the fire to crackle, she turns to look at me with the same smile. She doesn't seem to be affected by the cold despite her outfit, although that may just be my imagination. I quickly close the door anyway.
"Oh, hello Haruo. It's lovely to see you." She greet me with that accent I can't place while offering me a chair which I gratefully accept. "what brings you here?".
"I don't know. I never really get a say when I come here." I respond while fidgeting in my chair. Louhi just gives a soft laugh.
"That was rhetorical Haruo. I'm the 1 who called you here." She can do that? Has she already told me that?
"That reminds me. Before I forget, are you the 1 who taught me how to absorb kaiju hearts? I can't remember where I got that skill." Now's as good a time as any to ask. Assuming I haven't already. She looks shocked by this.
"No, I never taught you anything like that. That's an evil technique only used by lord star fall himself. What have you done?!".
"I don't know! I'm sorry!" Oh no oh no oh no what have I done?!
"Haha, I'm kidding. Yes I taught you that technique. Your quite fun." Huh?!
"What the heck?!" She just responds with more laughs. "Am I just here for you to make fun of me?" Can I leave? Is that something I'm able to do?
"No no there's more I promise." Her face suddenly shifts to a stern look as her wings retract slightly. "I have an important mission for you." A mission? That sounds cool.
"What kind of mission?" I ask while trying to hide my excitement.
"Have you heard of a kaiju child called insect queen?" Huh? What's Lilith got to do with this?
"Yeah, we're in the same training group at the facility. There's not many people who don't know her." Also apparently we're friends and
I just think that's nice.
"I'd like you to monitor her closely Haruo. At least for this week." This feels like 1 of those spy films Satoshi used to watch.
"Why?" Feels like the most logical question to ask. "What does Lilith have to do with stopping lord star fall?".
"Oh you know her name. That's convenient." She brushes her hair behind her ear, which is a little comical given the Louhi's hair is piled
up on the floor. "Insect queen may be a massive threat to humanity." She says
as if that's not ridiculous.
"What?! Lilith isn't a threat!" She's so nice.
"Please calm down.".
"Right, sorry. Please go on.".
"Like I was going to say. I'd like you to observe her to make sure. I have reason to believe that lord star fall may target her to use her powers for his plans." Lilith is in danger?! "Can I trust you with this?".
"Yes, of course." I respond with determination.
"That's great to here. But there's something I need to ask." She leans in."if insect queen does become a threat, will you do what needs to be done?" What?
"Um, I guess." I answer while avoiding eye contact.
"Haruo." She says with sympathy in her voice as her face softens. "I know what I'm asking is difficult and unfair, but a hero needs to make the hard calls for the greater good." Louhi places a hand on my shoulder, which is quite strange given the talon texture. "You want to be a hero right?" It feels like something clicks in the back of my head when Louhi asks that.
"Of course I do." I look her in the eyes. "I'll complete the mission. I promise." She gives a kind smile upon hearing this.
"I knew I could count on you. Unfortunately we don't really have time for food or training, your heading back." Louhi abruptly says.
"Huh?" I feel myself being pulled somewhere. Like a ghost is pushing the sleep button in my brain. Louhis waving figure quickly shifts to
the inactive light on my room's ceiling. I can see some light peaking in through the curtains so it's probably morning. I guess I should get ready for the day. I pack everything I need, mainly my sketchbook and volume 4 of mariner satellite. I look at myself in the mirror once I've got my military uniform on,
I look like a proper secret agent.
"Morning." Allister says through a yawn as he wakes up. He stretches his front legs, reminding me that he really is a cat who can turn into a boy and not a boy that can turn into a cat. "What? Do I have something on my face?" Oh I must have been staring. Ok Haruo, play this cool.
"You're a cat." Nailed it.
"Yes I am." He answers confused.
"I got a mission from Louhi." I try to play it cool, but I'm sure excitement is evident in my voice.
"Really?! That's amazing! What's the mission?!" Well that woke him up I guess. I explain the mission to him as I let him into my bag. "So we have to spend more time around insect queen? Barf." He says with annoyance
clear as day while he gets comfortable.
"Did you just say barf out loud?".
"BARF." Whats up with him?
"Would you stop being so childish?" I open the door and start to walk down the stairs.
"BARF!".
"I'll barf you if you keep that up!" I let out without thinking. Where did that come from?
"Uh, ok." Satoshi says. Wait a second. Oh no. I turn to the sofa and see Satoshi sitting there without a shirt, looking at me confused while eating cereal.
"Uh. That doesn't mean what you think it means." Oh no oh no. If he pushes too much he might find Allister!
"And what does it mean?" He leans forward, staring into my soul. Am I gonna get arrested? I wouldn't survive a day in prison. I do t even know what drop the soap means.
"Uh, that I want to fight a polar bear with you." Damn it Haruo! You useless idiot! You've ruined everything!
"Oh nice! I'll be sure to look out for one little bro!" He says with a bit grin on his face.
"Oh my witches it's genetic." Wonder what he means by that. But still, I think I'm in the clear. Can't believe I pulled that off.
"Yeah totally. Although that may take a while. Maybe we could do something else tonight?" The odds are low but sometimes you've got to shoot your shot.
"Sorry but I can't. I've got ranger stuff tonight." Satoshi answers casually.
"Well when will you be free next?" It'll help me save on ingredients for dinner.
"Like, In a month." Of course. Why did I even bother? "But it's gonna be great. Apparently we're putting more resources into capturing
that Kaiju boy. I can't wait to fight him again!" Is it weird to say your brother has a psychotic grin? Because mine does. Still, that's some useful, if intimidating information. Plus, this may give me more freedom with my super
secret special mission.
"Well, I've gotta get to the facility, see ya." I wave as I walk to the door.
"Not gonna have breakfast?".
"Nah I'll get something later." Get out get out get out! I can feel the wand in my bag pulsing with power as I walk. Is it responding to
Satoshi being here? I don't know, I'll figure that out some other time. As I make my way down the hill, I let out a sigh of relief. "That could have gone horribly, see where BARF gets us?".
"That was in no way my fault. You're the one who nearly got us thrown behind bars. At best. We might have been shot! Or dissected!" Well that's a little extreme.
"How about we just agree to put BARF to rest ok?" That feels fair.
"Whatever." He really is 15.
"Oi! Haruo!" Mr Ryuji marches up to me. "What's this I hear about you beating insect queen?!" Huh?
"What are you talking about? I never beat Lilith. At best I got a single ribbon away from her." Feels like a game of telephone got played here.
"Oh." Was all mr Ryuji said as he waved his hand behind his back. I peek behind him to see his assistant frantically running back to their stand, dropping a couple of fish as she goes.a Were those for me? I should have
just lied! "Well that's still decent kid. Make sure to keep it up." He says before he heads back to his stand. That was oddly nice of him.
"You should have just lied." Was all Allister had to say.
"Yeah." I sigh in acceptance. Those fish were probably delicious as well. I walk out of zone W and take the path to the train station. I decide to stop on the way to get some biscuits for Allister so I don't have to listen to death threats all day. I should probably grab something for breakfast while I'm here. After 3 minutes of negotiations that must have made me look crazy, I agree to get 3 packets of biscuits.
"But mom, he's a hero!" A girl yells from behind the counter. As I walk closer I can see a 15 year old girl arguing with her mother. Or at least I assume that's her mother.
"No buts young lady! He's a dangerous criminal! Now throw these out or I will!" I glance down to what the mother is pointing at and am surprised to see a bunch of drawings of me! Well, of Kaiju boy. They're actually really good as well. I kind of tune out the argument pretty quickly as I use the self checkout. The girls probably right, but I don't like hearing people yell. It stresses me out.
"Seems there's some debate over your alter ego." Allister immediately starts chowing down on the biscuits as I step onto the train.
Probably making a mess in my bag as well.
"I guess. That's a start." I take a seat as the train starts moving.
"You don't seem especially pleased.".
"I am. It's just weird to have people debating over me and my intentions you know. I mean, I'm kind of the authority on why I'm doing this." I say as I pull out mariner satellite.
"I guess you are in a pretty unique position." Well yeah, not many people have talking cats in their bags. It doesn't take long for the train to arrive at the facility. I take a moment to look at it from the outside. The emerald diamond shape of all the sections, buried into the side of the canyon and surrounded by chunks of gold is probably up there with the coolest looking architecture in the city. The only place that really competes is the ranger force main base. A giant red spire with glowing blue dots all around it, right in the centre of the city. Its supposedly the tallest building in history but I can't really confirm or deny that. I head inside and get to 'training'. We're in a recreation of a forest today. There's a few more injuries than usual but nothing I can't handle. I sometimes catch glimpses of Lilith talking to her friends, although I look away before I can get her attention. "Just talk to her. It'll be easier than watching from afar.".
"I'm getting to it. I just need to think of the right thing to say." Yeah, that's it. This is an important espionage mission. I have to be
very careful with how I act.
"Look, I can understand the need to stay away from that girl, I really can. But as an actual ninja, I know that your not gonna be able to keep a close enough eye on her like this. You'll have to talk to her, convince her you just want to hang out. Maybe invite her to your place." That feels like a lot.
"I'll get around to it.".
"You could get around to it now." I will. He just doesn't understand my methods. My very real and reliable methods. We're soon let out for a food break. Lola and Boba are saying something about Canada but for the life of me I can't follow it. After finishing my 6 burgers I gather up the courage to go talk to Lilith. What do I say though? 'Hey Lilith. A witch told
me you might be evil so I have to watch you'. Probably should have thought about that before I started walking over. Maybe I can leave out the witch bit, but the problem is that I don't really have a good reason to ask her to hang out. I'd basically be asking her to ditch any plans she has for me. That's pretty bad even without the fact that I'm meant to spy on her. As I get closer Misty is the first to notice me, pointing it out to the others. They all turn
to look at me. NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE! I turn 90 degrees on the spot and go to the changing room. I'm sure I looked very normal as I did it. I enter the changing room and take a seat on one of the benches, catching my breath even though I hadn't t moved that much.
"I know what your going to say. But I just need a minute." I mutter before Allister can get a word in. I get my phone out and start scrolling. Nothing in particular, just something to keep my mind off things.
"I wasn't going to say anything." He says, lying. "I just think your wasting time is all.".
"Oh come on. I have the whole rest of the day.".
"That's not what I meant.".
"Huh?".
"You were supposed to be back in the training room 4 minutes ago." What?!
"Why didn't you say anything?!" I get up and frantically move to the door.
"You seemed a little preoccupied." He responds, clearly enjoying this. As I open the door though, I stop in my tracks as I see Misty
and Lilith standing outside.
"I'm, sorry but this is the men's changing room. Unless you identify as a man. Which is of course totally fine. I'm just not sure what the rules for that are. Anyway I'll get out of your way." I ramble, trying to get the right words, if there even are right words for a situation like this.
"It's fine Haruo. You just seemed a little freaked out and we wanted to come check up on you." Aw that's really nice. How could someone like that be a threat to humanity?
"Oh um thanks. I'm fine though, no need to worry." I say in the most natural way I can. Although that's probably not that normal by any other persons metric.
"You were walking towards us and then rushed in here when I spotted you. Are you sure nothing is wrong?" Misty asks while bending over slightly. Ok Haruo, this is your chance, a natural way to slip in your intentions. Just don't screw it up. Be natural.
"I just wanted to ask Lilith if she wanted to hang out." Was that natural? What counts as natural?
"Oh. Really?!" Lilith suddenly says. I think she's got that cold again. "Sure, I'd be happy to. Let's go right now." She starts tugging at
my sleeve, I assume to make a point instead of actually trying to pull me along.
"Don't we have training?" Seems like we shouldn't miss that.
"It's cancelled for the rest of the day don't worry." She replies as she sits on Misty's shoulder.
"Really? How did I miss that?" Good thing she let me know. Now I just feel silly.
"So where do you want to go?" She asks. Probably should have thought about that.
"Uh, sports centre." I just say the first thing that comes to mind. Is that a normal place to hang out? I don't know I've never done this
before. Lilith suddenly gains a grin on her face.
"Sounds good. I have a great idea for when we get there." Now I don't want to say she sounds evil when she says that, but it wouldn't be an inaccurate description. Misty holds back a laugh.
"Are you serious right now?" Misty asks while still holding back a chuckle.
"Absolutely! He'll love it!" I can't help but feel like I should be very afraid.
"What are you 2 talking about?" I try to interject.
"Oh don't worry about it. This is gonna be great." Lilith says in a way that makes me worry. We quickly leave the facility and cross the bridge to the train. "You ever think how weird it is that to get to the facility you have to walk over a massive canyon?" Where's this coming from?
"I guess it's crossed my mind a few times." Liliths eyes grow cold after I say that. Or at least from what I can tell, I'm not always
the best at reading people. On the train I look out the window while the girls talk.
"So you watched the entirety of code creatures and all the connected spin offs, and you think all of them are garbage?" Misty asks.
"Yes. It's all unnecessary character drama that doesn't work with pre established characterisation." Lilith responds while sounding annoyed.
"Right, yeah, you've mentioned that. I'm more confused by why you kept watching.".
"What do you mean? I had to watch it all to have an informed opinion." I guess that makes sense.
"But if you hated it so much, couldn't you just stop watching? I get the concept of hate watching something but that seems a little
excessive." That also makes sense.
"Well you recommended it to me so I had to watch it." Is that how that works?
"Is that how that works?" Huh. "Maybe you just actually liked it but can't admit to being wrong.".
"Oh shove it. A friend recommended it to me. Of course I was going to watch it." Aw, that's nice.
"Well, thanks I guess." Misty adds before the trains stops at our destination. We all get off at the station in zone T. What a coincidence. I almost died here yesterday. And almost got arrested. And got reminded how short I am. And that lady was moderately mean to me. But still, could have been worse. Was a good day overall. We walk through the zone, all
sorts of clothes shops everywhere. I guess when your zone has a gimmick you
commit to it. We even pass through the area of my battle yesterday. Aside from some
scorch marks it's like the battle never happened. I do notice some graffiti on
the wall. It says 'thank you Kaiju boy' which is very sweet but I decide not to point it out.
"We're here." Lilith announces once we stop in front of a gigantic building. It's covered with graffiti from the bottom to the top, which
is way more impressive when you factor in the fact that's it's a skyscraper!
"Maybe I'm being stupid, but this isn't the sports centre." I say. Maybe it is. Not like I'd know.
"Your actually being quite smart. This isn't the sports centre. This is velvet heaven. We're just making a quick stop." Lilith says
with a wink. OMG she thinks I'm smart! She's gonna be so disappointed. We walk in through the automatic doors and I look around in amazement. There's so many
people here in different outfits. There's gotta be thousands of different products on this floor alone. "Pretty impressive right?" It really is.
"Is the entire building like this?" I ask as we step into an elevator.
"The first 75 floors are. The other 25 are for management and production. The entire business is conducted in this one building." 75?! How do they possibly have enough demand for that?! Where are they getting the
materials?! "Meaning that if a kaiju or terrorist destroyed this place, the business would be completely gone." She adds with a big smile on her face.
"Oh yeah, DEFINITELY not sinister." Not now Allister!
"You say something?" Misty looks down at me. Or more accurately, my bag! Why does he keep doing this?!
"No." Which is the truth. So I'm probably in the clear. Her fox ears twitch a bit.
"Strange, I feel like I can hear an extra heartbeat in here." AAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!
"That's probably because of the elevated mechanisms." Please buy it!
"No they don't sound anything like a heartbeat." Oh come on!
"Well…" I try and come up with an excuse on the spot but nothing comes to mind. This is it. I'm done.
"Wait. No never mind it's gone. I must have just been imagining it." Wait, REALLY?! Let's go! Allister must have used one of his
super secret ninja techniques to hide his heartbeat. I didn't even thing a kaiju had a heartbeat. I give a gentle nudge to my bag and quickly get a response in the form of a few ruffles. Good, he's not dead. The elevator dings as we reach the 58th floor. We step out and it quickly becomes apparent that this floor is for women's sports wear.
"Oh, are we here to get something for one of you?" I ask.
"No. I get my stuff custom made and Misty already has enough." Lilith answers with a grin.
"You can never have enough." Misty says.
"So then why are we here?" I ask. I mean, it's not like I can wear anything in here.
"You'll see." I soon see in the changing room, although I wish I didn't. I told them a dozen times that I'm not wearing this but Lilith
practically begged.
"It doesn't fit." I poke my head through the curtains to tell them.
"No it does." Lilith responds without even looking up from her phone. She was right of course. It was a perfect fit. How did she know my measurements first time?
"Just say the word and I'll dispose of them." Allister offers.
"No need for that. Bit extreme." I mutter annoyed while I take my uniform off.
"Not like she wouldn't do the same thing." He says under his breath. Or at least I assume, it's pretty hard to hear.
"What's up with you today?" I ask as I pick up the outfit.
"Nothing." He asks moodily, basically confirming that it's not nothing. I'll leave him alone for now. Now I just have to put this on. It
shouldn't be too hard. I wear the Kaiju boy outfit all the time. But that comes with a sense of anonymity and power. This isn't a superhero, this is me.
"Need any help?" Lilith asks for the 3rd time.
"No!" I quickly respond. I can hear the 2 giggling behind the curtain. This is really mean. Ok. Here I go. I put the long white socks on, then the pink and yellow top with a low neckline. I then put on the pink skirt and sneakers.
"Ok. I'm done." I manage to say through my embarrassment.
"Even the Pom Poms?" Misty asks, clearly excited.
"Yes." I say as I eye the glittering Pom Poms. I thought Misty would stop this but I guess not.
"Even the cat ears?" Lilith asks, clearly excited.
"Yes." I respond, defeated. I place the cat ears on my head and then the Pom Poms on my hands. I take a deep breath before I walk through the curtains, revealing to both of the waiting girls the cheerleader outfit they picked out for me. Many squeals followed after. I pull down slightly on the skirt with my wrist. "Why are we doing this?" This is the most embarrassing thing I've ever done.
"You said we were going to the sports centre. All sports have cheerleaders." They both start taking pictures of me.
"That's not even remotely true! And stop taking pictures of me!" I turn to go back and change. I can even see Allister peaking out of the bag with one of his smoke knives in his mouth.
"Wait no! Please don't! You look so good in that Haruo! Really cute!" Lilith clings to my neck.
"Do I have to wear the cat ears?" Why am I negotiating?! Stop it you fool!
"Absolutely! They're a necessity!" I feel like that's an exaggeration. "And again, they look really good on you! Right Misty?".
"Yep." Misty curtly responds while still taking pictures.
"Fine." I relent. I concede. I wave the white flag in surrender!
"What was that?" Lilith asks in a smug way. She's normally pretty humble but I guess even she has her moments. At least she didn't use her powers to make me do it. Silver linings.
"I said fine."'it gets hard to talk with how embarrassed I'm getting.
"Great! Now then, let's go pay for that.".
"Ok. Let me just get changed first." I start ti head back into the changing room.
"No need for that." Oh no. I slowly turn to see both of them wearing a very scary smile.
"I can't believe I'm actually doing this." I say to myself as I stand by the basketball court. The walk to the sports centre was quite the
experience. Tons of people were stopping to gush over how cute I looked. The worst part is, in every picture I see, I LOOK JUST LIKE A GIRL!
"Haruo…" Lilith urges with a sing song voice. "Please.". I place my bag down on a bench, Allister practically shaking with rage, I'll need
to get him some more biscuits when I can.
"Here I go, I guess." Do it for the mission Haruo. For the mission.
"Any day now." She's enjoying this way to much. I don't even have a routine planned but here I go.
"Go Go Lilith go! Put on a right good show! Go Go Misty go! Show em all what you know!" Now I'm not quite sure what losing a piece of your soul feels like, but this has to be pretty close. For what it's worth it seems to get those 2 fired up. They'd called some Kaiju children from other classes for a
'friendly' game of basketball. They also called those girls they hang out with to play as well. I feel like the rabbit girl will do pretty good but maybe I shouldn't stereotype. Lilith promised me that none of them would recognise me
but I'm not really sure how she could enforce that without mind control. And she doesn't mind control people without consent so I guess she just has another way. But either way apparently me being in a cheerleader outfit was entirely necessary in order to beat these guys. You'd think a member of your team being the size of a toy would be detrimental but you'd be wrong. When said toy lady can apparently just summon pincers and stingers from her body to grab the ball. Or
make invisible string to stop the ball. Or l
