Lavayla's expression softened at that, her hand pausing briefly against Vai's back before resuming its gentle movement.
The voice continued.
"Because the space is vast, you now possess awareness of its entirety. At your current stage, that awareness will not be clear. It will appear as indistinct impressions within your mind."
Lavayla frowned slightly, concentrating as if trying to grasp that feeling.
"However," the voice went on, "when you enter a specific region, your awareness of it will become more defined. If you focus, an understanding of that location will surface. It will not be complete, but it will be reliable."
Lavayla nodded slowly. "So we will not know everything at once, but we will understand what is in front of us when we are there."
"Yes."
She let out a quiet breath. "That is manageable."
"The next aspect concerns time."
Lavayla's attention became focused once more.
