Izumi's barrage shattered everything in its path.
Only Shinyō no Kongō—the Vajra Ram—managed to endure for a mere heartbeat.
Even so, the beast paid dearly for that brief resistance. Most of the force was reflected, but the remainder inflicted devastating damage. A moment later, it burst apart into pure mana and returned to its origin.
The Fourth Progenitor, the "Kaleid Blood," stared at Izumi with disbelief twisting her features.
"Impossible…!"
"How can a mere human possess such overwhelming power!?"
"No—I refuse to believe it! I refuse!"
She was genuinely terrified.
A human—this strong?
How had she failed to notice it?
Izumi clicked his tongue, expression flat.
"See? That's what happens when you strut around acting like the universe revolves around you."
"You didn't even bother figuring out your opponent's strength. No wonder you got sealed away for so long."
He sighed, almost as if scolding a foolish child.
Kaleid Blood had been completely full of herself since awakening—twelve familiars, ancient authority, centuries of pride. She thought reclaiming her dignity would be easy.
But then, several of her familiars were erased within a single breath.
And overhead?
That massive, terrifying magic array—something no modern sorcerer should've been able to construct.
Her worldview collapsed.
In the time she'd been sealed, she had no idea how much the outside world had changed. Even knowing "a little," she didn't truly understand.
So when Izumi broke her seal, she immediately assumed he was arrogant and overconfident.
But the truth was far simpler:
He just didn't consider her a threat.
Floating above her, Izumi looked almost bored.
Kaleid Blood's face contorted, her voice breaking into a shriek.
"No… no, no, NO!!"
"It can't be real—humans cannot reach this level!!"
"All of you—attack! Kill him!!"
Driven mad, she summoned every single familiar she possessed.
Izumi couldn't help laughing.
"All right, all right. I was planning to end this soon anyway."
"Le Fay should've gotten plenty of research material by now."
Since his apprentice had recorded enough, there was no point dragging things out.
He raised a hand.
In an instant—
the entire sky filled with magic circles.
The three Progenitors watching from the rooftop felt their scalps go numb.
Without hesitation, all three teleported away from their previous positions.
This was beyond dangerous.
This was absurd.
The First Progenitor, Ki Juranbarada especially had no doubt now—
Izumi was a Transcender.
A being outside common sense.
And those watching secretly from various factions had come to the same conclusion.
No human could use magic of this magnitude.
Le Fay, seeing the sky turn into a massive spell formation, instantly snapped her notebook shut and grabbed Kato Megumi and Asia by the wrists.
"Runrunrunrunrun! Izumi-sama is about to use a SUPER-big spell!!"
She recognized what he was preparing.
A meteor-summoning spell.
There was no time to admire it—only time to escape.
This was why Izumi trusted her enough to bring her along.
A true honor-student mage had superb survival instincts.
Izumi noticed Le Fay dragging Megumi and Asia as they bolted out of the school grounds.
His lips curled in satisfaction.
Good girl, Le Fay. She really was reliable.
And with her safely away—
he no longer needed to hold back.
Kaleid Blood's familiars rushed him.
Izumi swept his arm downward.
The heavens responded.
Countless meteors tore through the atmosphere.
Every space-station orbiting Earth saw it—
a massive cluster of falling stars barreling toward a single point on the surface.
This wasn't the Human Order Defense System, but the scale was nightmarish.
If Izumi used his full strength, the entire city would vanish.
But he had already weakened the spell—
over and over and over—
until the meteors landed with only the force of a high-tier Demon Lord's strike.
More than enough to erase Kaleid Blood.
The three Progenitors saw the meteors approaching and instantly scattered, each erecting massive boundaries through their familiars to seal the blast within the academy.
—This brat is going to get us all killed!
—If this hits the city, the devils will tear us apart!
Swearing under their breath, they did their best to contain the impact.
Izumi himself had already run far away.
Kaleid Blood looked up in horror.
She tried to flee, sensing death in every falling star.
But every time she reached the boundary—
she found herself teleported back beneath the descending meteors.
Izumi had prepared a positional replacement spell.
There would be no escape.
Izumi appeared beside Le Fay, watching the raining stars.
He let out a low whistle.
"So, Le Fay—did you learn anything today?"
"How much did you pick up?"
Le Fay's eyes sparkled with excitement.
"I learned so much, Izumi-sama! So many things!"
"Just give me a little more time—I'll be able to summon stellar mana myself!"
"Izumi-sama is the greatest! Seriously amazing!!"
Izumi puffed up with visible pride.
This "Flame-Light Banquet" had practically turned into a magic lecture.
Had he been serious from the start, Kaleid Blood would've been crushed the moment she appeared.
Megumi, however, looked uneasy.
"Um… Izumi-kun… is this really okay?"
"Won't this hurt Avrora?"
"Kaleid Blood is still using Avrora's body…"
Wasn't this too reckless?
Izumi waved a hand casually.
"It's fine."
"I've already limited the output. And besides—there are still three Progenitors here."
Right as he finished speaking—
the meteors hit the academy.
A blinding explosion.
A rising mushroom cloud.
Fire surged skyward, visible from every corner of the city.
Residents rushed outside in shock, staring at the blazing inferno.
Inside the city, a certain blonde girl froze, expression blank.
"Our… our school…"
"Who would—who would be unhinged enough to blow up the academy!?"
Dozens of students had the exact same thought.
And all of them were seconds away from collectively losing their minds.
