Chapter 77 - Chapter 77: The Stars Fall, the Twelve Beasts Roar

Zacharias had confidently assumed he could "carry the match,"

and yet—

the moment he appeared, Izumi erased him with a single strike.

He didn't even notice the three Primogenitors watching him from behind.

The three true ancestors observed the scene without surprise or emotion.

They simply watched silently as the arms dealer vanished.

Izumi noticed their lack of reaction, shrugged, and turned toward Avrora.

"Avrora, hand the body over to the Fourth Primogenitor."

"Let her absorb the remaining Beast Vessels."

Avrora puffed her cheeks, grumbling in protest.

But refusing was impossible.

Izumi's tap on her shoulder had already undone the ancient seal binding the Fourth Primogenitor within her.

Looking at the eleven loli-like cloned vessels sleeping in their coffins, Izumi sighed in genuine regret.

He had originally considered bringing all twelve home to raise.

But on second thought…

twelve identical Avrora-lolis?

Even for him, that was a bit much.

Better to fuse them into one.

They had always been parts of the same whole anyway.

Besides—

maybe after fusing, Avrora might even evolve into a full-blown onee-san?

A win-win.

With that hopeful thought, Izumi decided to merge the twelve vessels.

The freed Fourth Primogenitor—Avrora—glared at him with burning hatred.

"Detestable human…!

Your arrogance will be the cause of your downfall!"

Without further words, she floated into the air.

The magic circle beneath her radiated blinding light.

The eleven inert bodies inside the coffins burst into streaks of light,

and each one plunged directly into Avrora's body.

As the fusion began, Avrora's petite eleven-year-old form started to change—

growing taller, fuller, more mature—

until she became a stunning seventeen- or eighteen-year-old young woman.

Izumi grinned wide.

He called it. Fusing eleven lolis = instant onee-san upgrade.

With all twelve Beast Vessels fully awakened inside her,

the reborn Fourth Primogenitor drifted higher into the sky.

Six pairs of radiant wings spread open behind her.

Looking down upon Izumi, she declared:

"Human, rejoice!

Your life shall be the offering that commemorates my resurrection!"

Lightning crackled as she summoned one of her Imperial Beasts—

a golden lion wrapped entirely in thunder—

which immediately leapt toward Izumi.

With all twelve beasts at her command,

the Fourth Primogenitor's power now rivaled that of a High-Class Demon King.

Izumi only laughed.

"Wow, you really are headstrong."

He tilted his head.

"But… this is it?"

The moment his voice fell, the clouds overhead scattered violently.

And then—

the stars lit up the entire world.

One by one, constellations awakened.

Izumi floated into the sky as if gravity itself bowed to him.

He called toward Le Fay Pendragon:

"Le Fay, pay attention!"

"I'll demonstrate the proper way to fight using Astrology Magic!"

The moment he spoke, the stars pulsed.

A single beam of starlight fell like a divine spear,

crashing into the Golden Lion.

Le Fay's eyes went wide, unblinking.

She was terrified to even blink for fear of missing a single frame.

She snapped photos frantically with one hand

while scribbling incomprehensible notes with the other.

Realizing she was about to short-circuit,

she thrust her phone into Kato Megumi's hands.

"Megumi, take pictures!

Record all the circles!

ALL OF THEM!"

Megumi quietly complied, calmly taking photos like a seasoned war journalist.

Meanwhile, Le Fay stared so intensely at Izumi's star-forged magic circles

that her pupils shook with scientific ecstasy.

Asia and Megumi exchanged glances.

This was normal for Le Fay.

Whenever she saw magic she liked, she transformed into a mad researcher.

The Golden Lion was struck dead on the spot—

its body dissolved into pure, clean mana

and scattered into the air.

Only its pained roar remained,

echoing so violently it shattered the school's windows.

The Fourth Primogenitor's face twisted.

"Unforgivable…!"

"Then come forth—

Adamantine Ram,

Heifer King of the Lake,

Twin-Horned Scarlet!"

Enraged by the instant destruction of her previous beast,

she summoned three more.

The Adamantine Ram—a beast with absolute reflection, both offense and defense.

The Lake Heifer King—a magma-bodied monster capable of melting any magical barrier.

The Twin-Horned Scarlet—a vibration beast that destroyed matter with tremors.

Powerful creatures indeed—

but only to normal people.

Izumi smiled lightly.

Rather than bracing for battle,

he simply resumed teaching Le Fay.

Floating above the battlefield,

Izumi raised his hand—

and the heavenly bodies obeyed.

Every star in the sky became a chess piece on his board.

They burst with brilliant light

and assembled into vast star-forged magic circles that filled the heavens.

Then—

the star cannons descended.

Each beam was like a falling meteor,

crashing into the three beasts with divine force.

Everyone in Saikai Academy,

and even the whole Kuoh Town,

could see the rain of starlight.

This was the most basic form of Astrology Magic—

borrowing the mana of the stars

and firing them as magic cannons.

Through layered magic circles, the beams streaked across the sky,

painting the night like a meteor shower of destruction.

The spectacle was breathtaking.

Even the three Primogenitors watching from the rooftop

became serious.

None of them expected Izumi to wield such power—

magic that called upon the cosmos itself.

At this moment, he resembled

a child of the stars.

(Not Soraka though.)

Izumi almost yelled "Starlight, grant me power!"

but that was too cringe even for him.

He internally vetoed it.

The star cannons struck the three beasts before they could get close—

sending them flying.

At that exact moment,

the Adamantine Ram activated its reflection ability,

bouncing Izumi's attack backward—

straight into the school building.

Multiple buildings of Saikai Academy detonated instantly.

Watching from afar, Minamiya Natsuki felt her heart rupture.

"My school…!"

"It blew up again!?"

Damn it!!

She almost coughed blood.

The Lake Heifer King let out one final agonized roar

before dissolving into vaporized mana.

The Twin-Horned Scarlet followed,

their bodies unable to withstand even a single star cannon.

One strike.

That was all Izumi needed.
