Super Saiyan vs. Super Saiyan

After maintaining the Super Saiyan state for a long time, Goku finally reverted to normal.
He then closed his eyes again, carefully sensing his own energy, attempting to comprehend the transformation more deeply and push toward a higher realm.
At this moment, he had no idea that his breakthrough had caused his aura to spread across star systems—and that it had already been sensed by Vegeta.
Goku soon entered secluded training once more.
Nearby, Krillin, Gohan, and Nail also prepared to continue their own cultivation.
Even though the gap in strength had become enormous—and even though they all knew they could never truly catch up to Goku—they still wanted to grow stronger.
At their level, stagnation meant regression.
As warriors, none of them were willing to stop.
Just then—
A massive and familiar spaceship suddenly appeared in an open area not far away.
It arrived silently, without warning.
The three froze in place, staring in disbelief.
"Th-this… I'm not hallucinating, right?" Krillin stammered, rubbing his eyes.
"Gohan… Nail… you're seeing this too, right?"
They hadn't seen it land.
It had simply appeared.
And more importantly—
It was Frieza's spaceship.
The same one Vegeta and Bulma had used when they left Namek.
"That's right, Uncle Krillin. You're not imagining it," Gohan said quickly, his emotions surging.
"I can sense them too… Vegeta's aura—and Aunt Bulma's."
Joy and unease intertwined in his heart.
Although his view of Vegeta had changed, and he was grateful for everything Vegeta had done on Namek—and for his guidance—some resentment still lingered.
"I feel it too!" Nail exclaimed.
"Vegeta… Bulma… and those aliens who followed him. But how did they suddenly appear like this?!"
The shock was overwhelming.
At the same time, Goku—who had just entered secluded training again—suddenly opened his eyes.
He had sensed it.
A familiar, powerful aura.
Looking up, he saw the spaceship.
His heart leapt.
He had just broken through to Super Saiyan, and yet Vegeta had already returned.
The timing was unbelievable—almost as if Vegeta had been watching him the entire time.
Without hesitation, Goku stood and joined Krillin, Gohan, and Nail.
After hearing how the ship appeared out of nowhere, he was even more stunned.
Inside the spaceship, Bulma and the others were equally shaken.
Even knowing how miraculous Instant Transmission was, crossing star systems in an instant still felt unreal.
"We… we really arrived at Namek just like that?" Bulma said, her voice trembling.
"Th-that's Goku! And Gohan! Krillin too!"
Her words broke the silence.
Hera and the others stared at Vegeta with undisguised awe.
Vegeta himself remained calm.
From the observation deck, he could clearly see Goku, Gohan, Krillin, and Nail standing together, staring back in shock.
A faint smile formed on his lips.
"Looks like we gave them quite a scare," he murmured.
"They probably can't even figure out how we appeared."
"That's obvious," Bulma replied with a grin.
"If you didn't experience it yourself, who would believe it? Instant Transmission across star systems is like the first time we summoned Shenron—no one would've believed it until it actually happened."
Vegeta chuckled.
"Let's go. Time to greet them."
He led the group out of the command room and down from the spaceship.
After two and a half months, they met again.
But everything was different.
Vegeta immediately sensed their auras.
Then he put on the virtual scouter glasses Bulma had developed.
"Krillin: Battle Power — 1.2 million."
"Gohan: Battle Power — 1.3 million."
"Nail: Battle Power — 1.55 million."
"Kakarot: Battle Power — 6.5 million."
Vegeta removed the glasses and handed them back.
"I didn't expect this level of growth in just two and a half months," he said calmly.
"You've all done well. Especially you, Kakarot—you exceeded my expectations."
The four were stunned.
Their auras were suppressed.
Yet Vegeta had read through them completely.
Krillin clenched his fists inwardly.
So I'm already over a million…
Then it's not that I'm weak—Goku is just absurd.
Being unable to compare to Goku was one thing.
But even Gohan had surpassed him.
That stung.
Gohan, on the other hand, was filled with pride—especially for his father.
Six and a half million.
He clearly remembered that when Goku first arrived on Namek, his power had only been 150,000.
Nail felt the same bitterness as Krillin.
He had grown tremendously.
But compared to Goku, the gap was still terrifying.
Goku finally spoke.
"In the past, we were far behind you," he said seriously.
"So of course, we chased even harder! Vegeta—the me of today isn't the me from two and a half months ago. I've already become a Super Saiyan!"
Vegeta responded indifferently.
"I know. If you were still the old you, I wouldn't have bothered coming back."
As expected.
Goku continued, curiosity burning in his eyes.
"So you came because you sensed my breakthrough? And that spaceship—it just appeared. How did you do it?"
Before Vegeta could answer, Bulma stepped forward proudly.
"You guys may have gotten stronger—but Vegeta didn't stop training either. The reason he appeared out of thin air is Instant Transmission. Just so you know, we were two star systems away not long ago."
"Instant Transmission?!"
Goku, Krillin, Gohan, and Nail exclaimed in unison.
Vegeta glanced at Bulma, amused.
She had already spilled everything—including his entire training experience on Planet Yardrat.
"And that's it?" Goku said excitedly.
"Planet Yardrat… I never imagined such a race existed. I'll definitely go there someday!"
More than anything else, he wanted to learn Instant Transmission.
Krillin, Gohan, and Nail couldn't hide their longing either.
Vegeta narrowed his eyes.
"Enough talk, Kakarot. Let me see your Super Saiyan."
Then he smirked.
"I'll even make you a deal. If you manage to injure me, I'll send you to Planet Yardrat for free."
Vegeta's aura quietly spread.
Even in his normal state, his battle power had already reached 13 million.
Exactly double Goku's.
"Deal!" Goku laughed.
His aura surged violently.
The shockwave nearly blew Krillin, Gohan, and Nail off their feet.
Vegeta smiled.
"Not bad. Your normal state is already stronger than mine was two and a half months ago."
Then his expression sharpened.
"But that's still not enough."
He stepped forward, effortlessly suppressing Goku's power.
Bulma immediately retreated with Hera and the others.
The battlefield was set.
Facing Vegeta, Goku swallowed hard.
The pressure was overwhelming.
"So this is your current strength…" Goku said with a strained smile.
"The gap… it's even bigger than I thought."
Vegeta snorted.
"Enough chatter. Transform."
Goku nodded.
"HAA!!!"
Golden energy erupted.
His hair turned gold, eyes emerald green.
Super Saiyan.
A terrifying pressure swept across Namek.
Everyone watching was stunned.
Bulma, however, smiled confidently.
"Still handsome," she muttered.
"Though Vegeta's obviously the best."
Vegeta chuckled.
"My turn."
Golden flames exploded skyward.
His transformation was instant—perfectly controlled.
Super Saiyan vs. Super Saiyan.
Yet even Goku could feel it.
The difference in mastery was like heaven and earth.
Facing Vegeta now, Goku once again understood—
Just how small he still was.
