"Cheating? Heh." Vegeta sneered coldly. "If you don't like it, I can send you to join Recoome right now."
His icy voice made Burter shudder, his breath catching in his throat.
He didn't dare say another word, only cursing Vegeta in his heart for breaking his promise.
"Of course, things are different now," Vegeta continued leisurely.
"I'll change the rules again. For example—you can all team up against Kakarot. As long as you defeat him, I'll let you go. How about it? Sounds like a pretty good deal for you, doesn't it?"
Then he glanced at Goku and added mockingly, "You don't have any objections, do you, Kakarot?"
"Of course not," Goku replied with a grin. "These guys are way too weak anyway. One by one, they wouldn't even be enough to warm me up."
That was just how Goku was—simple and straightforward.
Of course, that confidence came from genuine strength.
From what Vegeta could sense, Goku's battle power was already well over 100,000.
Just as expected—he had grown stronger.
Let me see what you're really capable of. Don't disappoint me, Kakarot, Vegeta thought, falling silent.
With Goku stepping in, the situation on the battlefield changed instantly.
"Damn it!" Burter roared in fury. "How dare you look down on us! Do you think you're Vegeta, with 180,000 battle power?!"
His blue aura flared violently as his anger peaked.
Clearly, he didn't believe Goku could possibly be that strong.
In a flash, Burter transformed into a streak of blue light and shot straight toward Goku.
The fight began.
Krillin and Gohan quickly retreated to the side, careful not to interfere.
What followed looked strange to most onlookers.
To them, it seemed as if Burter was constantly circling Goku at extreme speed, searching for an opening, while Goku stood still, ready to respond at any moment.
But to those with enough strength, the truth was obvious.
Burter was attacking nonstop—but every time he was about to land a hit, Goku would dodge in an instant and return to his original position so quickly that the movement was almost imperceptible.
Burter was fast.
But not faster than Goku.
Vegeta saw it all clearly. Goku toying with his opponent like this stirred memories of the past.
In the original battles, Goku had done the same thing to Burter and Jeice.
"Damn it! I refuse to believe this!" Burter shouted, raising his hands and firing energy blasts one after another.
But no matter how intense the barrage, he couldn't hit the seemingly motionless Goku even once.
Panic began to creep in.
The scouter showed it clearly—Goku's displayed battle power was only 25,000.
"Something's wrong!" Jeice shouted. "Burter, let's attack together!"
Seizing the moment, Jeice moved to Goku's other side, joining the fight.
Vegeta had already allowed them to team up—there was no need to hesitate.
With Jeice's support, Burter steadied himself.
Red and blue streaks of light danced around Goku as the two launched a combined assault.
Yet nothing changed.
After dragging the fight out long enough to gauge their abilities, Goku decided it wasn't worth wasting any more time.
He spread his hand and let out a powerful roar.
A terrifying aura exploded outward like a tidal wave.
The shockwave blasted Jeice and Burter away, sending them flying.
This kind of close-range aura burst was devastating—even fighters of similar strength would suffer from it.
Let alone Jeice and Burter, whose battle power barely exceeded 40,000.
Of course, Goku deliberately held back.
This was just enough to make them realize they were no match for him—and ideally, retreat on their own.
Vegeta snorted coldly.
Showing mercy to the Ginyu Force would only make them bolder.
"Guldo—attack!" Ginyu ordered sharply.
Guldo snapped out of his daze and immediately raised his hands.
"Very good… stay right there…"
His psychic power surged, and an invisible, pale-blue aura enveloped his body.
The light itself couldn't be seen—only sensed through mental perception.
Vegeta watched with interest, curious to see whether Guldo's ability could restrain Goku.
The moment Guldo activated his technique, Goku sensed something was wrong.
Before he could react, his body suddenly felt unbearably heavy.
"What—what is this?" Goku muttered as immense pressure locked him in place.
"Hehe, it worked!" Guldo laughed triumphantly. "Once you're caught by my Paralysis Technique, you won't be able to move!"
"Nice job, Guldo!"
"Burter, Jeice—go all out! Continuous fire!"
"Got it!"
With Goku restrained, Jeice and Burter were ecstatic.
They shot into the air, transforming into red and blue energy orbs that spiraled together, forming a vortex-like mass of power.
From within it, countless energy blasts fired downward, all aimed directly at Goku.
Boom—boom—boom—boom—!!
Explosions erupted nonstop, flames shooting skyward.
The sheer force whipped up a violent storm that seemed capable of tearing everything apart.
At such close range, even Krillin and Gohan—both with over 40,000 battle power—were affected by the shockwaves.
Only Vegeta stood unmoved, erecting a ki barrier to shield those around him.
"Dad!" Gohan shouted anxiously.
He almost rushed forward, but Krillin grabbed his arm and stopped him.
"It's fine," Krillin said firmly. "Goku's ki hasn't weakened at all. This fight's just getting started."
Hearing that, Gohan finally calmed down.
When someone you care about is under attack, judgment naturally falters—especially for a child.

"Goku… he's not in danger, right?" Bulma asked nervously, hiding behind Vegeta as she stared at the terrifying scene.
She was just an ordinary person—she couldn't tell what was really happening.
"That idiot's just putting on an act," Vegeta said with a short laugh.
"Putting on an act?"
Exactly.
Goku could have broken free from the Paralysis Technique and dodged the attacks at any time.
Instead, he chose to endure them.
It was simple overconfidence—the side effect of rapidly increasing strength.
He just wanted to see how powerful an attack he could take head-on.
