Chapter 9 - Chapter 09

After Kai's one-move victory, silence flooded the palace.

The Grand Priest floated before him—proud, respectful… yet humbled. He raised his staff, and behind Kai formed a ring of cosmic light. Not a halo, but a crown woven from the very energy of all universes.

"From this moment forward," the Grand Priest declared, "you ascend beyond all stations known to creation."

The angels gasped in unison. The gods looked ready to faint. The palace trembled.

Kai blinked. "…Uh?"

"You are now the High Sovereign," the Grand Priest continued. "The One Above Angels, Protector of All Realms—ranking above ME the Grand Priest… and above Zeno in authority."

Both Zenos started clapping wildly.

"YAAAAY! Kai gets a SUPER SUPER rank! SO FUN!"

Half the gods collapsed. Several angels dropped their staffs. Vados covered her mouth, stunned—but glowing with pride.

Kai scratched his head.

"…This escalated fast."

Vados whispered softly, her voice warm, "You deserve it."

When the ceremony ended and everyone left—mostly to recover from shock—Vados floated quietly toward him. Her hands were behind her back, her cheeks faintly pink.

"Kai…" Her voice was gentle, softer than any angel had ever spoken. "I knew you were strong… but this…"

She touched the place where the Grand Priest had been wounded.

"You surpassed Father with a single gesture."

Kai took her hands.

"Did I scare you?"

She shook her head slowly.

"No. You made me certain."

"Of what?"

"That I chose correctly."

He leaned his forehead against hers.

"I told you—I'll never leave you behind."

"And now," she whispered, "no one in existence stands above you."

A tiny smirk formed on her lips.

"Except me… when I steal a kiss."

Kai chuckled. "Then go on."

She kissed him.

Somewhere behind them, twelve angels blushed at once, and a few nearly dropped their staffs again.

Not long after, the Grand Priest guided Kai into a sealed dimension—hidden from all eyes except Zeno and the highest angels. A realm of endless stars, pure light, and eternal stillness. At its center floated a massive throne made from primordial creation energy.

"Sit," the Grand Priest said.

Kai hesitated.

"You sure? This feels like—"

"A throne for those above all authority. It belongs to you."

When Kai sat, the throne reacted instantly. Light wrapped around him, stabilizing the realm under his presence. The Grand Priest bowed deeply.

"All realities now answer to you. Should a threat arise beyond the power of angels, you are the one we call."

Kai nodded.

"I'll protect everything. Especially her."

Vados appeared at his side, her voice soft.

"You won't be alone, my love."

The Grand Priest cleared his throat.

"One more matter remains."

Both Zenos leaned forward eagerly.

"Ooh! A surprise!!"

Two radiant female angels stepped from behind the Grand Priest—one with shimmering silver hair, the other with deep celestial blue. Both bowed with grace.

"Greetings, High Sovereign Kai."

Kai blinked.

"…Father-in-law?"

The Grand Priest smiled gently.

"For one who has risen above all… and for the man who won my daughter's heart… I offer you my other daughters as well—their companionship and loyalty."

The entire multiverse choked.

"F-Father!!" Vados gasped.

He raised a hand.

"He stands above Zeno now. He needs allies worthy of him. And… I approve of him for all of you."

The silver-haired angel stepped toward Vados.

"Sister… do you approve?"

Kai didn't speak. He didn't push. He simply waited—with trust.

Vados looked at him… then smiled softly.

"If it's him… then yes."

Kai exhaled slowly.

"Well… then I accept."

The two angels took his hands with grace.

"We are honored, Sovereign."

Both Zenos bounced excitedly.

"KAI HAS MORE ANGELS! MORE! THIS IS SO FUN!!"

Gods screamed. Angels bowed. Universes vibrated.

Kai wrapped an arm around Vados.

"Well… looks like the family just got bigger."

"And stronger," she whispered.

Kai soon entered his newly granted realm—accompanied by Vados, Marcarita, and Cus. The realm was utterly empty, a blank canvas above even the Angel Realm.

Marcarita placed a hand on her lips.

"…This realm is completely untouched."

Cus spun her staff eagerly.

"Which means we can decorate it however we want!"

Vados slid behind Kai and hugged his arm playfully.

"Careful, Cus… my Kai has specific tastes."

"Oh, do I?" Kai asked.

Vados smirked.

"For comfort? Very."

Kai raised his hand. Reality bent. A massive floating platform formed, made of radiant divine crystal.

Cus gasped.

Marcarita nodded thoughtfully.

"It has balance and grace, but lacks definition."

"Sharper edges? More curves?" Kai asked.

"A blend," Marcarita replied.

Vados touched his shoulder.

"Build what feels like home. We'll refine it."

With a wave of his hand, a celestial city unfolded—floating platforms, glowing energy rivers, staircases of starlight, and a sky lit by three suns.

Cus spun around.

"It feels like a beautiful dream!"

Marcarita examined the architecture.

"The throne should be the focal point."

Kai shaped a majestic floating throne of dark silver and cosmic blue.

Vados examined it.

"It suits you."

Marcarita tapped the floor.

"Add two smaller seats beside it."

"For who?"

Cus raised a hand.

"For us!"

Vados turned pink.

"F-Father did say we are to accompany him…"

Two elegant seats appeared beside his throne.

Kai glanced around.

"…Where's Vados'?"

Cus grinned.

"She sits on your lap."

"CUS!" Vados yelled, mortified.

Kai laughed.

"That works for me."

A warm, inviting palace formed—unlike the cold angelic temples of old. Vados shaped a glowing lake and soft forest. Marcarita crafted a hall of perfect geometry. Cus created a playful Garden of Worlds filled with miniature universes.

Kai then placed his hands on the ground, and a colossal World Tree rose—its branches spanning the sky.

"It connects us all," he said.

Vados touched his chest.

"…And it's beautiful."

The three angels stood beside him as the realm pulsed gently around them.

"Welcome home," Kai said.

They smiled as one.

"In every sense," Vados whispered.

Later, Kai returned to Earth with his three angelic fiancées.

"…Okay," he muttered, pale. "Time to introduce them to my mom. This is fine."

Vados smirked.

"You surpassed Zeno. Yet this frightens you?"

"You've never met my mom."

Cus giggled.

"This should be exciting."

Marcarita smirked.

"This will be… instructive."

Inside the Son household, Chi-Chi turned with a bright smile—then froze as she saw the three angelic beauties behind Kai.

"…KAAAAI!!"

Kai dodged the frying pan with Ultra Instinct.

"MOM, WAIT—!!"

Goten whispered, "We'll never reach his level, don't we ? ."

Gohan sighed. "Nope"

Pan cheered. "Uncle Kai brought MORE angel aunties!"

After calming Chi-Chi, Kai explained everything. She rubbed her temples.

"Why can't any of you be NORMAL!?"

Vados bowed politely.

"We love Kai and will care for him."

Marcarita added,

"We also offer cosmic blessings to new family."

Cus raised her finger.

"We installed emotional-calmness barriers around Kai—"

"CUS."

Kai glared.

Goku laughed.

"If Kai marries angels, we're basically royalty aren't we ?"

"Technically above Zeno," Kai muttered.

Chi-Chi fainted.

When she woke again, she sighed and accepted them.

"Well… if he's happy, then… welcome to the family."

Goten whispered, "She gave up."

Gohan nodded. "She absolutely did."

"Hey this also a good thing cause our universe now is completely safe from Zeno games too" Kai words made them at ease.

Pan threw her arms around Cus.

"Teach me angel stuff!"

"Yes!" Cus beamed.

Vados leaned against Kai.

"Your family is adorable."

"They really are," Kai said.

Marcarita considered the room.

"Should we present gifts? Many universes expect blessings."

Chi-Chi jumped up.

"Yes. YES. Bless the whole house."

Kai covered his face.

"Please don't bless them too hard…"

Everyone laughed. After a long visit, Kai and his three future brides returned to their divine realm—ready for the journey ahead.

And for Kai… this was only the beginning.

Back at Zeno's palace the two omni-lings were sitting quit differently quit serious and their lack of their usual childlike spirit was quit obvious.

"Who would have thought that supreme will rise without us even noticing ? Quit the suprise isn't it ", said one of of the Zeno's to the other.

"Indeed we may be the same being from different timelines but we are still the same of everything " answered the other zeno.

I have already checked all different timelines and their is no one like Kai at all not even a copy of him in any timeline.

"So he is a singularity". Said both of the zons in realization.

"Yes, he must be" Confirmed the grand priest.

"We it doesn't matter after all his apprenace only make our existence more relaxing and easy as a guardian to our multiverse dealing with those annoying deites and outer gods will be effortless" said Zeno on the left throne happily.

"Yes it is". Answered the Zeno on the left.

The grand priest just smiled and didn't comment. He was quit happy for his daughter and the safety of the their omniverse. A being in his power was not unaware of the vast of existence and infinite worlds and their hidden dangers, beside with his daughters marrying Kai he secured quit strong ally and a mighty son-in-law now that the angel restrictions are unable to even touch his daughters their lives will be quit lovely with their new freedom as Kai also added a rule to his realm that the angel can lose their angel restrictions once inside his realm but they will regain it once they leave and the angels were more than happy to gain this small window for breath.

Back at Zeno's Palace, the two Omni-Kings sat upon their thrones in an unusual silence. Their expressions were far more serious than usual, and the absence of their typical childlike cheerfulness was immediately noticeable.

The vast hall, normally filled with their playful chatter, felt strangely solemn.

"Who would have thought that a Supreme Being would rise without us even noticing?" one of the Zenos said thoughtfully as he looked at his counterpart. "Quite a surprise, isn't it?"

"Indeed," the other Zeno replied calmly. "We may be the same being from different timelines, but we still share the same awareness of existence."

He paused for a moment before continuing.

"I have already examined every known timeline. There is no one like Kai at all. Not even a single alternate version or duplicate of him exists anywhere."

The two Omni-Kings looked at each other.

"So… he is a singularity," they both said at the same time, realization dawning upon them.

"Yes," the Grand Priest confirmed respectfully. "That must be the case."

"Well, it doesn't really matter," said the Zeno sitting on the left throne, suddenly smiling again. "His appearance only makes our existence easier. As guardians of the multiverse, dealing with those annoying deities and outer gods will now be effortless."

"Yes, it certainly will," the other Zeno agreed.

The Grand Priest simply smiled and remained silent.

In truth, he was quite pleased—not only for the safety of the omniverse, but also for his daughters. A being of his power was fully aware of the vastness of existence: the endless layers of reality, the infinite worlds beyond the known multiverse, and the many hidden dangers that lurked within them.

Yet now, with Kai standing among them, many of those threats had become far less concerning.

Furthermore, with his daughters marrying Kai, the Grand Priest had gained an extraordinarily powerful ally… and a remarkable son-in-law.

Most importantly, the ancient Angel Restrictions could no longer affect his daughters. Within Kai's realm, those divine limitations simply ceased to exist.

Kai had established a rule within his domain:

Any Angel who entered his realm would temporarily lose their divine restrictions, allowing them to experience true freedom. However, once they left his realm, the restrictions would immediately return.

For the Angels, who had lived under absolute cosmic laws for countless ages, even such a small window of freedom felt priceless.

And so, for the first time in an eternity, many of them could finally breathe.
