3 YEARS AGO - THE IMMORTALS HQ
"The fuck you mean we're getting a new member?" Staminatrix says from his seat looking at the front of the table where the 3 heads sit. This is meant to be the strongest and yet it looks like a room of randoms, freaks, and beasts. It was the first time they'd all been in a room together since they introduced the team to the world as the 16 strongest heroes.
Magnetica and Robotica are sat next to each other in silence as they look around at the group of heroes. They are both waiting for the same thing and then it happens. Björn slams a wooden cup the size of a head down on the table. "WHO IS NEW MEMBER? CAN BJÖRN FIGHT NEW MEMBER!" He bellows across the room with a massive grin clearly drunk.
"No Björn you cannot fight our newest member. And Staminatrix this new member was forced upon us by the government, if it was our decision he wouldn't be in any hero teams." Reaper says with a sharp, commanding tone which puts both men to silence. Reaper is one of the 3 leaders of the team. They are known as the triple headed demon and command the entire team with varying methods.
"So when will we learn who this new member is anyways?" Says a sturdy female voice from the corner of the room.
"He's on his way now and will be here in around 5 minutes Adaptor." Marrow replies. He's the second head. He isn't as strong as the other 2 but his leadership skills were unmatched.
The team then goes off into their own private conversations. One of the groups consists of Reaper, Marrow, Robotica, Magnetica, and Lady Life. Lady Life starts the conversation with a warm smile "So who is this new member?" "Sadly he's barely a teenager and from what we've been told he can bend reality to a minor degree." Reaper replies as he looks at a small holograph projected by Robotica. The group was cut off by a small knock at the door.
"Someone get that." Marrow says as one of the three heroes still at the table lifts a hand and creates a portal on either side of the doors. Through the portal everyone can now see a scrawny boy who looks no older than 13 as he cautiously steps through the portals into the room.
"H-hello... I'm your newest member." He says as he scratches his hair nervously.
The silence which follows is so thick it could be considered as thicker than Kim kardashians enhancements. The silence is broken when Björn slumps down yet another mug of mead from his oversized cup. Then the complaints roll in.
"THAT'S A CHILD!" Is the fist thing to be shouted by Fantastigal
"THIS HAD BETTER BE A PRANK!" Quickly follows when Staminatrix snaps out of his state of shock.
"EVERYONE CALM DOWN." A voice bellows from the third heads seat. It was Loud Mouth. He is famous for his ability to make anything reality by saying it but obviously it comes with the downside of everything he says becomes reality. Due to his power everyone instantly calms down allowing Marrow to step forwards and start explaining.
"He may be a child but his powers are too strong to be anywhere else so we are being forced by the government to take him on as the seventeenth member of the immortals. And before more complaints are voiced he will only go on minor missions and will work part time due to still being within school."
The team has to accept it now so Robotica goes up to him and leads him to a seat in-between himself and Lady Life.
"You already know who we are so why don't you introduce yourself bud." Reaper says in a calm, caring tone despite his ominous stance at the front of the table.
"Hi I'm gonna be called Toon and I can manipulate reality to a small degree." He says with a forced smile as his eyes dart around the room nervously although he avoids eye contact. The rest of the group are in mild shock whilst the 3 heads pull away from the table to speak in private. "When can we tell him his true power?" Marrow asks calmly.
"We'll tell him when he's 15." Reaper replies before looking at the boy who's starting to talk with Robotica and Lady Life.
"So the first big serial killer in the super era was known as Erratic because of his unpredictable and violent behaviour." Toon starts as if teaching the two heroes a history lesson.
"His first victim was his own father who was using him as genetic experiments which turned him into a being of raw power." Robotica continues on from where Toon left with a warm smile.
"Oh gosh not two murder obsessed boys. However will I feel safe at night." Lady Life jokes with a small laugh.
"You're welcome to go build a house of cards with the quiet ones if you're that scared." Robotica replies as his suit projects a screen of files labeled with names of killers and victims to show Toon.
The screen quickly changes to an alert before Robotica can explain the killer.
"Pocket with me we got an all out gang war. Staminatrix stay on coms we may call you for backup. Toon you're coming with us this will be your first mission." Robotica says calmly as the man building a house of cards gets up and summons a portal that the 3 walk through.
