"They probably summoned us for the dining hall situation." Aleron said in his usual dull tone.
"That's right." Princess Marina said as she used the side of her fist to hit her palm.
"They are second years now." Princess Marina said, referring to the people who distribute food in the dining hall.
"Coming from their hall to ours must be tiring." Princess Marina said with a nod of her head.
"If it's the dining situation," Aldric said with a hum.
"There are plenty of people with high attunement." Aldric said with a shrug.
"Why call us?" Aldric asked in confusion and Princess Marina turned to stare at him.
"Do you really not know?" Princess Marina asked with a smile as Lorraine appeared above the stairs.
"Look at your right hand." Aleron said with a littlewarmth hidden under his usual dull tone and Lorraine not knowing what was going on looked at her right palm too.
"You are a four star ranker, the top one percent in the academy." Aleron said with a rare smile.
"Have confidence." Aleron said to his twin brother at the same time the doors to the overall Dean's office opened.
"He is right, you know" said a girl with chocolate brown hair.
"The Dean says you can come in now." the girl with chocolate brown hair said with a smile as she walked back into the overall Dean's office.
"Greetings to the Overall Dean." Princess Marina, Aldric, Aleron and Lorraine said at the same time.
"Greetings to the top scorers of each blessing." the overall Dean greeted back and all four of them looked at him in shock.
"Top scorers?" Lorraine asked in confusion and the overall Dean nodded his head.
"Each of you passed each part of the entrance exam with high marks, making you the top scorers of this year first year students." The overall Dean said before gesturing for them to sit on a rectangular table at the opposite end of their seniors.
Taking a seat at the head of the table the overall Dean said "These are your direct seniors and in no particular order at all, this is Moran Gray," as he pointed to the chocolate brown haired girl.
"Alex Monique," the overall Dean said as he pointed to a boy with dark green hair that was blue at the tips.
"Catherina Smith," the overall Dean said as he pointed to a girl with long light blue hair with white streaks.
"And Sloan Montigue." the overall Dean said as he pointed to a boy with platinum blonde hair and hazel eyes.
"I understand that this meeting is being held at lunch time so in order for you not to suffer without lunch I had food prepared in advance." the Overall Dean said before he clapped his hand and food and drinks were whisked in by the wind.
"Help yourselves." The Overall Dawn said and the first year students looked at him in wonder.
Not wanting to be rude, the first years watched the second years dug into their food first before picking up their cutleries.
"Now that the food has been brought out, it's time for me to bore you as you eat." the overall Dean said as he began to explain the dining hall tradition.
"The dining hall tradition is a newly started tradition created by the academy to limit the biases formed by each blessing against another." said the overall Dean.
"With this tradition in place the academy hopes that the students see that no blessing is lesser than the other and it is possible to work together in perfect harmony." the overall Dean said before dipping his spoon in his Rumbadion stew.
Making sure to savour his spoon full of stew filled with different pieces of meat, the overall Dean swallowed before saying "To better understand your duties, each of you is to shadow them on all dining hall duties for two weeks."
"The training for dining hall duty will be held for at least one hour after school and failure to comply without a valuable reason is punishable." The overall Dean said and Princess Marina didn't know when she groaned along with everyone else.
Smiling at their pain, the Overall Dawn said "It's an important tradition so I hope that it will be done properly." and everyone nodded begrudgingly.
"Now, you have only twenty minutes before you are to head back to classes so I suggest you eat up as quickly as you can." the overall Dean said as the students began scarfing down their food.
After the meeting, everyone scattered to get to their next class and on the way Princess Marina bumped into Rassera.
"So what did the overall Dean tell you guys?" Rassera asked curiously as they began walking together.
"He told us to shadow the four students responsible for sharing food in the dining hall without fail." Princess Marina said with a sigh.
"Really?" Rassera asked with a smile and Princess Marina nodded her head in sadness.
"We are supposed to take over their duties two weeks from now." Princess Marina said with another sigh.
"I am so jealous of you guys." Rassera Dawnspire said with a smile that didn't quite reach her eyes.
