Chapter 25 - Teaparty and Declaration

The massive summoned bird swept down through Totto Land's candy-colored clouds, its wings beating gusts of warm, sugary wind across the sky. Nagato had conjured it for one reason—to keep their ship far from the danger he expected.

Below them, the archipelago shimmered with impossible vibrancy. Cookie-bark forests stretched along the coasts, rivers swirled in pastel shades like melted sherbet, and entire towns gleamed as though sculpted from frosting and crystallized sweets. Even the air felt strangely warm and thick, carrying a scent so sweet it bordered on unnatural.

The bird spiraled lower, cutting through the whimsical landscape as the Akatsuki prepared to descend into Big Mom's territory.

The bird landed on a wide plaza of polished caramel, its talons clicking as the Akatsuki disembarked one by one.

Kisame stretched his shoulders, Samehada shifting eagerly on his back. "Hah… Yonko territory. Smells different."

Hidan gagged. "Smells like a damn children's festival."

Kakuzu ignored them, scanning the area. "I wonder how much this stuff is worth."

Nagato stepped forward. "We move together. Stay alert. Big Mom's territory is unpredictable."

Enel floated lazily behind the group, eyes half-lidded. "I can hear dozens of powerful heartbeats… and too many of those creatures babbling."

Konan walked beside Nagato. "The invitation guarantees entry. Still, be prepared for anything."

Itachi kept silent, Sharingan tracking every movement around them. Sasori walked with stiff disinterest, but his eyes flicked constantly, analyzing the living sweets and animated objects with mild annoyance.

Deidara let out a low whistle. "Heh… creepy island. Katsu would brighten it up."

Sasori scoffed. "Your explosions would melt the environment."

"Tch. That's the point, yeah."

The candy-crafted gates ahead creaked open, revealing a long, colorful path lined with living pastries and musically chattering teacups.

Kisame smirked. "Guess this is our entrance."

Nagato nodded once. "Stay sharp. We proceed to the Tea Party."

The Akatsuki—robes billowing in the warm, sugary breeze—stepped forward as a unit, heading down the decorated path and deeper into the heart of Totto Land, toward the grand event that awaited them.

------------

The air was thick with sweet scents, music, and chatter. Streams of finely dressed guests were moving toward an enormous set of frosting-coated gates leading into the Tea Party hall.

Kisame cracked his neck. "Heh. Looks like the circus is already in full swing."

Deidara scanned the crowd, eyes flicking between faces he recognized. "Tch… underworld scum everywhere. Some of 'em we've already done business with, un."

Konan adjusted her cloak slightly. "Stay focused."

Inside, the Tea Party was a blend of elegance and insanity—massive tables stacked with mountains of food, homies dancing across the room, and guests arranged by influence more than politeness.

Certain underworld bosses such as Umit and Lu Feld nodded at the Akatsuki as they passed

And among the sea of criminals, government shadows, and pirate representatives…

A woman with soft blonde curls, a feathered fan, and an unreadable smile approached them with graceful steps.

Stussy.

"My, my… the infamous Akatsuki. Big Mom's been quite curious about you. And I must say—your arrival certainly lives up to the rumors."

Her eyes lingered on each of them, analyzing, weighing their danger.

Itachi met her gaze without a word. She smiled faintly

Stussy: "Enjoy the festivities. Mama has… plans for tonight's entertainment."

She drifted off, blending into the crowd.

Hidan scoffed."I hate fancy places. No blood, no screaming—just weird people."

Kakazu replied without looking at him. "You're the last person who should be talking about weird."

Nagato stood at the center of the group, calm and unreadable, Enel beside him with a lazy smirk.

The music swelled. Guests were taking seats. The atmosphere grew anticipatory.

And then—

A massive set of frosting-encrusted doors thundered open.

The room fell silent as the towering figure of Big Mom entered, laughter booming, homies scattering.

The Tea Party had officially begun.

"Welcome welcome everyone!" Big Mom gave a quick welcome to everyone and then sat down, eagerly beginning to eat. After she had finished an impossibly large cake she finally began to speak again.

She cut straight to the chase

"Mamamama~ I want to marry my daughter Smoothie to Nagato"

Nagato's eyes instantly narrowed and he calmly said. "I refuse."

The room went still. Big Mom's children froze mid-bite, several underworld brokers leaned forward with barely-hidden anticipation, and even Smoothie's expression tightened for a moment. Nagato didn't raise his voice, but the weight of his words pressed through the hall.

"We came here because you threatened us," he said calmly, meeting Big Mom's gaze without a hint of fear. "We've come to show you the Akatsuki is not to be trifled with."

A few murmurs rippled across the tables—shock, amusement, curiosity—while several Charlotte siblings subtly reached for weapons or readied abilities. Big Mom blinked once… then her grin widened. Mama's laughter rumbled through the banquet hall, shaking plates and rattling silverware.

"Mamamama! So bold! So brazen! You've got guts saying that here of all places!"

But Nagato didn't waver. His posture didn't shift. Every member of the Akatsuki stood behind him, their presence alone making the atmosphere tighten further. The tea party, once lively and colorful, now felt like a powder keg waiting for a spark.

Nagato nodded at Enel.

Enel didn't need a verbal command. The moment Nagato's chin dipped, the self-proclaimed god's lips twisted into a cold, ecstatic smile.

His body blurred—pshhhht—splitting into pure lightning as he shot upward, instantly disappearing into a thunderous streak that ripped through the clouds above Totto Land.

Gasps rippled across the tea party.

Big Mom's children rose from their seats in alarm. Underworld brokers froze mid-sip. Even the homies shuddered as the sky itself darkened.

High above the archipelago, Enel's silhouette reformed, arms spread, drums crackling behind him, a massive sphere of lightning already spiraling into existence.

RAIGO!

A divine judgment meant to erase islands.

Many attendees stood up in panic, searching the skies with wide eyes.

Smoothie's expression warped into pure disbelief. Katakuri's Observation Haki flared, his stare switching from Enel to Nagato, his haki having already seen what would happen next. Big Mom's fork snapped in her hand.

The Raigo grew larger—dense, swirling, destructive—until the entire horizon glowed with electric blue.

Then—

BOOOOOOOOOOOM—!!!

The lightning sphere dropped onto one of Totto Land's outer islands, a blast so immense the shockwave rattled every teacup on the table. A pillar of light consumed the landmass before it vaporized in an explosive roar, leaving only steam and molten debris where an island once existed.

Screams echoed through the party grounds.

Deidara whistled

Now that is art!

Hidan and Kisame seemed eager to move, while the rest of the Akatsuki stayed silent, awaiting Nagato's orders.

Nagato didn't look away from Big Mom.His voice was quiet

"We came here to kill you."
