General Marcus had seen Alex as his primary threat and apart from Alex. Elizabeth was also one of the threat because she was the most powerful cultivator in the Black Rock City Kingdom at the moment.
General Marcus said "Both of these two individuals are the most talented of the Black Rock City and both of them had just got engaged to each other. If we can break their alliance and remove any one of them then we can take over the Black Rock Kingdom."
King Luthor in order to please General Marcus proposed "General Marcus since you need to kill them then I will immediately arrange for assasins to kill them."
General Marcus said "Shutup! You idiot after the recent defeat how can you even expect to trust you guys."
King Luthor did not dare to say a word against General Marcus and just listened.
General Marcus said "You can never hurt them or kill them if they are in the Black Rock City Kingdom. They can only be harmed if they can be lured out of the city. The ground work for which I have already laid down in the Black Rock City Royal Palace before coming here. I have given them the invitation to join the Continent One University of the Blue Empire."
Listening the General Marcus King Luthor and Prince Dominic were stunned since they never expected that General Marcus would propose the enrollment of their enemy Alex and Princess Elizabeth into such a prestigious university. It was clear that once Alex and Princess Elizabeth joined this university with their talent their cultivation realms will sky rocket and advance very fast. They could not understand why General Marcus is so nice to his enemy however he had never offered a seat in the Continent One University of the Blue Empire for Prince Dominic.
Prince Dominic felt indignant about this as he asked "General Marcus why offer seats of such prestigious university to our enemies."
King Luthor also felt the same as he asked "Yes General Marcus why are we offering seats to them instead why can we enroll cultivators from Golden Rock City Kingdom."
General Marcus said "You two are trash but I did not know that you were dumb as well. What qualifications do you have to get enrolled in the Continent One University of the Blue Empire. You cannot match even one percent of talent of Alex and Elizabeth. And I am not enrolling them for their own good. I am doing this only to lure them out of the Black Rock City and taking them far away from their comfort zone. I will have enough time and numerous opportunities to deal with them once they reach the Continent One University of the Blue Empire. Though there are strict regulations inside the university however once they go out of the university to complete their assignments we can deal with them."
At this point both King Luthor and Prince Dominic understood the real intention of General Marcus and nodded their heads in agreement.
General Marcus said "Tommorow I will go to the Royal Palace of the Black Rock City and take Alex and Princess Elizabeth out with me with their consent to the Continent One University of the Blue Empire."
While there was a tense atmosphere in the Royal Palace of the Golden Rock City there was celebration going on in the Black Rock City Royal Palace. Everyone toasted to Alex and Elizabeth with their heart felt wishes for them to have a happy and prosperous life together. Many of younger generation males were jealous because Alex who had a background far more inferior to them had got the Princes of the Black Rock city and his status had been elevated in just one day.
Till late at night the celebrations were on and King George kept consuming spiritual wine with his ministers which was good for health and like this the day was over.
The next day everyone woke up late though and King George's morning court session was setup quite late. If they wanted they could have refined the effect of the wine through the circulation of the dou qi but nobody did that because they all were happy for their Princess. This was the reason the morning court session was setup late.
King George distributed a lot of rewards and gifts to his courtesans and General public made some decisions about important matters of the Kingdom and left the rest to be determined by his ministers then dismissed the assembly.
Princess Elizabeth and Alex were also present in the court and they left together and followed King George and went in the private garden of the Royal Palace then they sat down as the King ordered some spiritual tea for everyone which was beneficial to keep the mind calm while cultivating.
King George said "So what have you decided about joining the Continent One University of the Blue Empire?"
Elizabeth said "Father we have decided that we should not go. General Marcus is clearly against us and he even stopped you from saving Alex. He must have an ulterior motive when he is inviting us there."
Alex said "Yes your highness I think Elizabeth is right I also feel something fishy about this matter."
King George said "Indeed both of you are correct however this is also true that if you are under the care of General Marcus no one could hurt you because it will be his responsibility to protect you since he is one of the officials of the Blue Empire."
Alex said "Your Majesty Even if he is an official if we are with him he can easily kill us both with his cultivation realm and no one will come to know about this."
King George said "That is not necessarily true because being the King of a Kingdom I have the right to report my citizens details on mail to the Blue Empire head quarter and then General Marcus will be answerable for your well being because you will become one of the candidates to enroll in the Continent One University of the Blue Empire. And Continent One University take utmost care of there students even if these students were just the applicants and potential students because Blue Empire is in dire need of new cultivators. So believe me General Marcus absolutely cannot afford to take this blame otherwise he will face consequences worse than death."
