Alex heard the voice of a woman shouting as if pleading for her dear life.
HELP!! SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP!
LEAVE ME ALONE! BACKOUT! IF ANYONE OF YOU COME CLOSURE YOU WILL SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES!
Alex heard this voice and decided to check on this matter first to know what was going on. When he went near the place of commotion he saw several men in armor were surrounding a woman in the jungle. The woman was lying on the ground with several bruises and the men were all standing on their feet to block the escape route of the woman.
When he looked closely he saw that the woman was nobody else but Monica his childhood sweetheart and ex girlfriend who dumped him previously and the man standing opposite her was none other than Luke he decided to observe them to know what was happening and kept watching them from there.
Luke said "Monica shout as much as you can. Nobody can hear you in this deserted jungle and nobody will come to you aid now."
Monica said "Luke please don't do this to me. I trusted you and came with you. Also I am your girlfriend now how can you share me with somebody else."
Luke said "You are just my property and did you forget I have all the control over you now. You have already submitted yourself to me and we have done the final deed then why not submit to my friends here. Even if you escape you will not be able to live a free life so its better you submit now willingly otherwise you will have to face more trouble in the future."
Monica said "No! Never I will never submit to any of you. Back out."
Luke said "Fine if you want us to use force then that's fine. Friends I have already enjoyed here. She is all yours now so enjoy her all of you."
The men who were surrounding her said "Thanks Young Master Luke!"
After the guys thanked Luke, one of them began to approach Monica, who was lying on the ground. Monica felt a chill go down her spine as she watched the man approaching her with a lechearous expression on his face.
Monica said "No! No! Please ! Let me go." At this moment she cursed the moment she decided to dump Alex and go with Luke. He was his childhood friend after all and she had hurt him just because he was a grade one spirit root. If only she could have not been arrogant and stuck with Alex at that point of time who was her most loyal friend. She regretted her past deeds a lot.
At this point the man was already in front of her and he took away his beast form armour and became naked as he was preparing to jump on Monica.
Monica closed her eyes as she was going to face such a brutal reallity and then she heard a groan.

When she opened her eyes, she saw that the man in front of her had been shot in the head, instantly killing him as he landed on her.
Thuphhhh
She just pushed the mans dead body from the top of her and he rolled away to the side.
All of them were shocked to see one of their friends being killed in such a way as everyone became alert and Luke shouted "Who's there? Come out. Who tried to attack us? If you are not a coward come out?"
While Luke and his men were shocked and alert at the same time Alex was hiding behind the bushes as he had a notification from the system.

He took an aim at one of the men infront of him who was standing guard infront of him in alert mode expecting an attack from anywhere and then fired the arrow.
The arrow was shot and then it flew towards the man in a lightening like manner plunged deep into his chest penetrating his Grade one Beast form Armor, his chest and his heart in one swift motion killing the man on the spot. The man's body fell on the ground with a dull sound.
THUD
The men who were gloating with laughter at the helplessness of a girl were now scared still since they realized that even their Grade One beast form armour was not capable of saving them now. Just then two more arrows were shot.
Swish Swish
Then two more bodies fell on the ground with a dull sound as a reflex.
Thud Thud
Now three dead bodies were lying on the ground.
Luke said "Sir! We mean you no harm. We were just passing by and if you want to take our belongings it is all yours. Please do not kill us."
Alex continued to hide and fired the arrows from a hiding place, shifting his position to avoid detection. The men continued to fall, turning into corpses. After a while, only Luke was still alive, and ten dead bodies were scattered across the ground.
Luke could not utter a single word from his mouth as he saw his men getting killed one by one and falling to the ground. He was terrified and could not even think about running away.
At that moment Alex decided to show himself and emerged from the bushes behind the trees. Luke recognised him "Alex you were the one who was attacking."
Alex said "Yes I was the one who killed all your men just now. See this second grade bow and arrow I took from you it is able to penetrate a grade one beast form armor that is all thanks to you."
Luke and Monica looked at Alex with disbelief. Monica could not believe that it was Alex who had come and saved her like a hero of her dreams.
