"Ben Tennyson, don't even think about slipping out of my grasp," Kevin snarled viciously.
"And you, Lucian, hand over the Omnitrix, or neither of you is leaving here!" Vilgax narrowed his eyes.
After getting beaten so badly by Buzzshock today, he had to get the Omnitrix. Otherwise, this whole mess would have been a complete loss.
"Roar!"
An ancient, ear-piercing roar tore through the sky.
The Barbarian Dragon twisted its body with all its strength and sped toward them, its body covered in pitch-black wounds, all left behind by the Thunder Dragon.
One dragon and one serpent, chasing each other all the way back to the group.
The Barbarian Dragon opened its massive jaws and bit down at Vilgax and the others, trying to swallow them whole.
Everyone scattered at once to avoid the Barbarian Dragon's savage attack.
Using that opening, Stinkfly carried Lucian around the other enemies and sped toward the space portal.
"Faster, faster..." Stinkfly gritted his teeth and beat his wings desperately.
But the Null Guardian was even faster. In just a few breaths, Vilgax had caught up to them again.
At that moment, they were only a hundred meters from the space portal.
But that hundred meters felt like an impassable abyss, impossibly far and hopelessly out of reach.
Gwen stood beneath the ring of light, looking anxiously at Ben in the distance, already cut off by Vilgax.
"No, I have to help them." Gwen pulled out her pistol, activated the engine on her pack, and flew over.
"Lucian, let's see where you think you can run now," Vilgax sneered.
Kevin roared, "Stop wasting time talking to them! If anything else goes wrong, I'm blaming you!"
"Fine. We attack together and take the Omnitrix first!" Riding the Null Guardian, Vilgax reached out a clawed hand toward Stinkfly.
Just as Stinkfly was about to break free, Kevin cut off his path from behind.
"Roar!"
At that moment, a streak of cyan lightning flashed down and struck Vilgax on the head.
Vilgax screamed as the blast charred him black, nearly turning him into grilled octopus.
"Who did that!" His eyes went red with fury as he glared over.
At some point, the Thunder Dragon had already arrived. It lowered its head and looked down at the enraged Vilgax.
Where was the Barbarian Dragon? Where had it gone?
"There!" Kevin pointed at a dark shape in the distance. It was the fleeing Barbarian Dragon.
Clearly, the Barbarian Dragon had lost to the Thunder Dragon and was trying to escape.
Vilgax and Kevin exchanged a glance, and their hearts sank almost to the bottom.
They had thought the Barbarian Dragon could keep the Thunder Dragon occupied, but in the end, it had still lost.
Even though they did not know what kind of relationship Buzzshock had with the Thunder Dragon, Vilgax knew they were on the same side.
He had already seen the Thunder Dragon willingly transfer energy to Buzzshock earlier.
Now that the Barbarian Dragon was running away, this terrifying Thunder Dragon would naturally help Lucian deal with them.
"Damn it! I can't accept this!!" Veins bulged on Vilgax's forehead, but reason told him they had to leave immediately.
Just as the two of them were about to back down, a cry of surprise rang out.
"Huh? Why did that stupid snake come back again?" Stinkfly pointed ahead.
Everyone froze for a second and looked over.
The sky-blocking Barbarian Dragon had terror on its face unlike anything they had seen before. It roared frantically, smashing through rocks in its path and hurtling this way like its life depended on it.
It was as if something was chasing it.
"What... is going on?" Even Lucian was stunned.
The Thunder Dragon, however, looked like it was facing a great enemy. It ignored Vilgax, twisted its body, and stared warily in the Barbarian Dragon's direction.
At the same time, violent lightning burst from its cyan scales as it braced for battle.
"Ben, go!" Lucian realized at once that this was a very bad sign.
But Vilgax and Kevin refused to let up. Like glue, they stayed in Stinkfly's way and blocked him.
"Hand over the Omnitrix!!" Vilgax shouted in a deep voice.
"Move! If we don't leave now, it'll be too late!"
"Oh? You think I'm some three-year-old kid that easy to fool?" Kevin burst out laughing. "That Thunder Dragon is going to deal with the Barbarian Dragon now. It won't have time to bother with you. Just wait until I tear you to pieces!"
"You idiot, the Null Void is huge. You don't actually think the Barbarian Dragon and Thunder Dragon are the only giant beasts here, do you?" Lucian shot back, clenching his fists.
Just now, he had vaguely seen an even larger figure behind the Barbarian Dragon...
"Enough talking. Die!" Kevin moved to attack.
"Shriek. ."
A thunderous roar rang out across the distant sky, like a bull's bellow, a tiger's howl, and a dragon's cry all mixed together.
Kevin's whole body jolted, and he stopped mid-attack to look back.
A gigantic Western Dragon came into view, its body covered in brilliant golden scales, with a sharp beak-like mouth, savage fangs, and two eagle-clawed dragon legs underneath that gleamed with cold golden light.
Its broad dragon wings beat like giant fans, each flap whipping up violent gusts that sent dust and stones flying everywhere. It was ancient, powerful, and terrifying beyond words.
Everyone was stunned. This dragon was simply too enormous.
With its wings spread, it was a full hundred and fifty meters across. Its mountain-like body loomed in the sky with crushing pressure, as if it could grind every living thing below into dust.
At that moment, the Barbarian Dragon and the Thunder Dragon were reflected in the Western Dragon's brown eyes.
"You dare trespass into my territory? You've got some nerve." The Western Dragon actually spoke.
This was the central region of the Null Void, the Western Dragon's territory.
The Barbarian Dragon and the Thunder Dragon hovered opposite it, confronting it together.
But the situation looked grim.
If the Barbarian Dragon and Thunder Dragon were T1-level existences in the Null Void, then the Western Dragon was T0, the unquestioned overlord.
The Thunder Dragon let out a low growl, as if saying, We'll leave right away.
"Too late." The Western Dragon sneered. "You and that filthy snake will both become my lunch today!"
"Roar!!"
"Shriek!"
The Barbarian Dragon and the Thunder Dragon roared together, murderous intent surging as they charged the Western Dragon side by side.
Since there was no room for negotiation, then they would fight to the death.
Boom!
The battle was on the verge of erupting...
