The Barbarian Dragon was enormous, over a hundred meters long, making it the Western Dragon's first target.
"I was planning to head east in a couple of days and take your life myself. I didn't expect you to deliver yourself to my doorstep today. Hahaha, that saves me the trouble!" The Western Dragon laughed wickedly as it charged forward.
The Barbarian Dragon opened its massive fanged jaws and lunged for the Western Dragon's neck.
The Western Dragon swung out a huge scaly claw and slapped it hard, instantly knocking the Barbarian Dragon senseless.
At the same time, the Thunder Dragon arrived.
With a deafening dragon's roar, lightning gathered at the Thunder Dragon's horns as it attacked with full force.
Against an enemy this terrifying, it did not dare hold anything back.
Boom!
A lightning beam nearly twenty meters thick crashed down on the Western Dragon like a colossal tree falling from the heavens.
The Western Dragon folded its wings around itself.
Violent lightning washed over its body like raging waves, coursing across every inch of it. The destructive current was so intense that even the air dozens of meters around it seemed to burn away.
Soon, the cyan lightning faded.
The Western Dragon remained in the same posture, completely unharmed.
Its golden scales shimmered with a strange glow, light flowing faintly across them.
The Thunder Dragon's eyes widened as it stared at the Western Dragon in disbelief.
What... what kind of terrifying defense was that?
"That's horrifying. It's the strongest creature I've ever seen!" Vilgax said, shaken, staring warily at the demonic dragon.
Even so, he did not forget to block Stinkfly. No matter what, he had to get the Omnitrix today.
"They're no match for it..." Lucian had already expected this. He looked at the Omnitrix, but it was still charging.
"Cuz, Ben!"
At that moment, Gwen flew over with a jet engine strapped to her back.
"Heh, I just thought of something fun." Kevin grinned maliciously and rode his Null Guardian toward Gwen.
"Ah!!" Gwen screamed and fired wildly, but it was useless.
"ROAR!!!"
A deep roar exploded like thunder, freezing everyone on the spot.
No one could move. It was a fear etched into their very genes, enough to make their minds go blank.
Lucian turned his head with difficulty and saw a scene he would never forget.
"Hahaha! My scales are impervious to blades and bullets, immune to water and fire. All elemental attacks are useless against me!!"
"Today, I'll start with you!"
The Western Dragon spread its wings and pounced on the Barbarian Dragon.
Then it slammed a claw onto the Barbarian Dragon's neck, pinning it down as easily as a chicken crushing a bug beneath its foot.
The Barbarian Dragon struggled in agony, but the gap in strength was far too great. It had no way to escape the Western Dragon's claws.
The Western Dragon opened its abyss-like maw. At its throat, a red brand of flame appeared, glowing hot.
Whoosh!
A vast wave of fire burst from the Western Dragon's mouth.
This was not Kevin's tiny flames that could be casually crushed. This was a lethal attack unleashed by a demonic dragon over a hundred meters long.
The blazing crimson fire surged like a tidal wave and instantly swallowed the Barbarian Dragon whole.
The merciless flames devoured every inch of its flesh. Even its hard bones became brittle and melted away at terrifying speed.
First its skin, flesh, blood, and organs, then even the stark white bones. Everything was buried in the scorching dragon fire without a sound...
And just like that, one of Null Void's great overlords fell.
"Oh my God, this is just... this is completely insane!!" Stinkfly cried out in horror, utterly shaken.
"It's way too strong. I don't even know how many times stronger it is than the Kraken." Lucian was just as stunned.
That massive alien serpent had been so powerful, yet the Western Dragon had killed it that easily.
Who in the Null Void could possibly stand against it?
Still, Lucian could not help wondering. Could the Null Void prison guards really keep a monster like this under control?
"Maybe it isn't some criminal alien brute at all, but a native resident of the Null Void," Lucian murmured. That was the only explanation that made sense.
A long time ago, the Gavens had created this pocket dimension, the Null Void, to exile their criminals there.
But some beings were later born there as well, something like reincarnation, though the original story never explained it clearly. Like the blue aliens Ben Tennyson met in the original series, whose ancestors had once farmed on a meteor.
Unfortunately, other planets eventually discovered the Null Void too and started dumping their own criminals there.
So to maintain order in the Null Void, the Galvans created the ferocious Null Guardians to punish those vicious alien criminals.
The Western Dragon in front of them was probably one of the Null Void's native inhabitants, and one of the strongest among them.
"Cuz, what do we do?" Gwen asked from the side.
Earlier, she had slipped over to Stinkfly during the chaos, barely avoiding Kevin's grasp.
"Move now!! Grab them!" Vilgax roared as he and Kevin went after Stinkfly.
If the Western Dragon noticed them, they would probably be as good as dead. He had no desire to provoke such a terrifying enemy.
"Roar!" The Thunder Dragon slowly backed away. It did not want to fight the Western Dragon again.
Its strongest attack had failed to leave even the slightest scratch. It could see no chance of victory.
"Heh, if you won't come to me, then I'll come to you!" The Western Dragon whipped up a fierce gale and charged at it.
The Thunder Dragon turned and fled at once. As long as it survived, there would still be hope.
It was not a coward, but it was not stupid either.
There was no point risking its life against an enemy it could never defeat. Charging in would only be throwing its life away. Better to stay alive and wait for a chance to take revenge.
The Thunder Dragon was incredibly fast and covered dozens of meters in the blink of an eye.
Then its gaze swept across a giant insect ahead, and the white-clothed boy riding it.
It did not recognize the boy, but not long ago it had seen with its own eyes that Buzzshock had transformed back into a human.
And that human was the white-clothed boy ahead.
Maybe he could transform into an even stronger alien species...
With that thought in mind, the Thunder Dragon accelerated with all its might and flew toward Stinkfly.
"Ah! Cuz, they're coming!" Gwen cried out in fear as she looked at the two giant beasts charging in from the side.
"Oh, fuck! Stop!" Kevin also saw the two beasts closing in on Stinkfly and immediately halted with Vilgax.
The two stopped where they were and watched, not daring to go any closer for fear of getting dragged into the fight.
By then, the Thunder Dragon was almost on top of Stinkfly.
And behind it, the Western Dragon was even faster. The howling wind rushing toward them and the overwhelming dragon aura made Lucian and the others shiver all over.
"Shriek! Don't even think about escaping!"
The Western Dragon roared, and a fireball like a miniature sun came crashing down with scorching heat.
Its target was the Thunder Dragon.
But the fireball was simply too large. Even Stinkfly was within its range.
"Oh, man~" Stinkfly flapped his wings desperately.
But he still could not get out of the blast zone.
Just as the massive fireball was about to swallow both the Thunder Dragon and the others, the Omnitrix on Lucian's wrist suddenly flashed.
Beep beep!
The red screen turned green. The cooldown was over.
Lucian's eyes sharpened. He immediately pressed the Omnitrix, quickly switched heroes, and slammed it down.
At the same time, he jumped off Stinkfly's back.
In the next second, a huge, imposing figure rose into the air.
"Way Big!!"
