Chapter 284 - Chapter 284: Eastern Overlord, Thunder Wyvern

Null Void.

A blinding bolt of azure lightning tore across the sky, splitting the heavens in two like a vicious spear.

"Roar!"

A dragon nearly twenty meters long, its body covered in azure scales, came hurtling toward them with blood-red eyes.

Electric arcs crackled all around it. Its terrifying pressure crashed down like a flood, leaving everyone struggling to breathe.

"That's... the Thunder Dragon!" Ben recognized it instantly.

Earlier, after Phil had unleashed the Hulk to deal with Lucian, he had also released the Thunder Dragon.

The Thunder Dragon was incredibly powerful. Back then, if Lucian hadn't transformed into Buzzshock and used his electricity-absorbing ability to drain it dry, it would have been hard to say who would have won.

But to avoid damaging the ecological balance of the Null Void, Grandpa Max had ultimately suggested letting the Thunder Dragon go.

At the time, all of its electricity had already been drained. If they had simply released it like that, it probably would have been torn apart by other beasts.

So Buzzshock had transferred some electricity back to it, giving it enough power to defend itself and avoid becoming prey.

Just before returning to the Null Void, the Thunder Dragon had deliberately looked back at Buzzshock...

"Roar!"

The Barbarian Dragon naturally noticed the Thunder Dragon as well. Twisting its enormous body, it roared furiously at its old rival.

"Roar!"

The answer it got was a domineering dragon's roar that shook the air in every direction.

As the overlord of the eastern Null Void, the Thunder Dragon naturally had no fear of the Barbarian Dragon.

That ugly giant serpent had dared to invade its territory and even brought along a swarm of Flying Serpents. It was asking to die.

The Thunder Dragon could not tolerate that kind of provocation.

Today, it was going to kill every last intruder beneath its lightning.

The Barbarian Dragon roared and ordered all the Flying Serpents forward to attack its former rival.

Dozens of thick Flying Serpents, each over ten meters long, opened their bloody jaws and bared their fangs as they charged at the Thunder Dragon.

Like a black tidal wave, they swallowed it whole in an instant.

"It's not going to die just like that, is it?" Vilgax muttered. He actually hoped the Thunder Dragon was stronger, so it could keep the Barbarian Dragon occupied.

"Damn it, these freaks," Kevin snarled, clenching his fists.

If these alien beasts hadn't suddenly barged in, they would have already captured Lucian and Ben Tennyson.

"Cuz, what do we do?" Ben asked from atop a boulder.

Buzzshock's gaze shifted toward the Thunder Dragon, as though he were thinking about something.

Beneath the blood-red sky, the mass of pitch-black Flying Serpents twisted together like thick vines, forming a horrifying black sphere around the Thunder Dragon as they writhed wildly and tore into it.

A mocking look appeared in the Barbarian Dragon's lantern-like eyes.

Let's see how arrogant that damned Thunder Dragon is now.

As the overlord of the western Null Void, the Barbarian Dragon had always been on terrible terms with the Thunder Dragon. The two had fought several times before, each battle ending with both sides badly wounded.

But every time, the Barbarian Dragon had come out worse.

Although it was huge, over a hundred meters long, and had an overwhelming size advantage over the twenty-meter Thunder Dragon, the Thunder Dragon could generate electricity. Its terrifying lightning was devastating enough to suppress most enemies.

After all, most creatures feared electricity, and the Barbarian Dragon was no exception.

"Roar!"

From inside the black sphere, the Thunder Dragon let out an earth-shaking roar. The twin horns on its head erupted with a vast surge of lightning, and blue light flared brilliantly.

Boom!

A sphere of azure lightning exploded outward from the Thunder Dragon with a deafening crash.

Every Flying Serpent wrapped around it was swallowed by the lightning. Flesh and blood were annihilated instantly. They did not even have time to scream before that terrifying strike burned them into ash and scattered them through the air.

The Thunder Dragon lifted its head high, whiskers dancing, its body standing proudly in midair. Violent arcs of electricity coiled around it like living serpents, making it look utterly dominant.

Its steel-blue scales reflected the blood-red sky, and despite being mauled by the swarm of Flying Serpents, they were completely unharmed.

The Barbarian Dragon could no longer sit still. Twisting its massive and powerful body like a runaway train, it charged straight at the Thunder Dragon with overwhelming force.

The Thunder Dragon's throat rippled as a ball of light formed in its mouth.

Then it spat it out. The azure orb, laced with violent thunder, blasted toward the Barbarian Dragon at incredible speed.

The Barbarian Dragon's bite force was astonishing. It ripped the orb apart in a single bite.

But the electricity released by the shattered orb surged over its body like a parasite clinging to bone.

A wave of numbness swept over it, and its speed dropped sharply.

The Thunder Dragon followed up with a vicious tail strike, smashing the Barbarian Dragon hard across the face.

Boom!

The Barbarian Dragon's heavy body was sent flying instantly, shattering massive rocks along its path. Violent wind and sand exploded outward in every direction.

Everyone nearby stared in shock.

"I didn't expect the Thunder Dragon to be this strong..." Buzzshock said, staring at the Thunder Dragon in astonishment.

If he hadn't transformed into Buzzshock back then and instead used some other alien hero, things probably would have ended very badly.

"This Thunder Dragon... is not something we can mess with," Vilgax said, shaken. This was already beyond what he could handle.

He could clearly feel that the Thunder Dragon was no weaker than the Barbarian Dragon, and might even be stronger.

The Barbarian Dragon had already been worn down by the others earlier and was no longer at its peak, but it was still an extremely difficult opponent.

And yet the Thunder Dragon was facing both a swarm of Flying Serpents and that colossal serpent with complete composure. That alone showed how terrifying it was.

After knocking the Barbarian Dragon away, the Thunder Dragon was about to press the attack and rush in to beat it down.

Then suddenly, from the corner of its eye, it noticed several figures.

Green Flower Branch, Hybrid Monster, Big Chandelier... and Little Light Terror!!?

The Thunder Dragon's body trembled. It immediately turned to face them, staring hard at that small figure as if afraid it had seen wrong.

A vast shadow fell over the group.

Those crimson dragon eyes, combined with the terrifying electricity crackling all over its body, left Vilgax and Kevin too frightened to move. Their bodies locked up where they stood, trembling like prey caught in a predator's gaze.

Its scorching breath washed over them.

Vilgax secretly clenched his fists, but he did not dare act recklessly. He had seen with his own eyes just how terrifying this Thunder Dragon was.

Kevin's mind was filled with a single thought: Don't kill me, don't kill me.

"Hey, big dumb dragon, we meet again!" Diamondhead waved.

The Thunder Dragon glanced at him, then turned its head and fixed its gaze on Buzzshock.

It did not recognize that giant green Big Chandelier. The only one it recognized was this little monster that could absorb electricity.

If Buzzshock hadn't shown mercy back then, spared its life, and even given it energy, it probably would have died long ago.

"Roar..." the Thunder Dragon growled softly, as if greeting him.

"You came at the perfect time. I'm all out of electricity, so lend me a little," Buzzshock said with a grin.

The Thunder Dragon's eyes widened, and it instinctively started backing away. It was afraid Buzzshock would drain it dry again.

Being drained dry really did not feel good...

"What's going on?" Vilgax and Kevin were both dumbfounded.

The Thunder Dragon was so powerful, yet it was actually afraid of Buzzshock?

They both used electricity, but the Thunder Dragon looked far more imposing and had a much bigger body.

Seeing the frightened look on the Thunder Dragon's face, Buzzshock sighed helplessly. "I can let you off, but I've got a problem right now."

He looked at Vilgax and Kevin in the distance. "Help me deal with those two, and I won't absorb your electricity."

"Hey, you can't do that!" Kevin cried, pale with shock, waving his hands frantically.

"Lucian, if you've got guts, fight me one-on-one. What kind of skill is calling for backup?" Vilgax's heart pounded wildly as he stepped forward.

But it was already too late.

After hearing Buzzshock's words, the Thunder Dragon was delighted.

So it was that simple. As long as it got rid of Green Flower Branch and Hybrid Monster, it would not have to worry about getting its electricity drained.

Deal.

"ROAR!!!"

The Thunder Dragon let out an enraged roar. Azure lightning exploded from its body as it charged straight at Vilgax with terrifying dragon might...
