A dark green glow burst out from Technorg's body.
Crunch!
The terrifying abyssal jaws snapped shut like the gates of hell, carrying a heavy, foul stench with them.
At the same moment, a streak of blue lightning shot out, escaping the Barbarian Dragon's bite.
"Hahaha!"
Buzzshock appeared beside the Barbarian Dragon, pointing at it and laughing out loud.
"Roar!"
That kind of provocation sent the Barbarian Dragon into a rage. Its eyes looked ready to spit fire as it twisted its massive body again and crashed forward.
Buzzshock grinned, flipped it off, then flashed away as a streak of blue lightning, easily dodging the Barbarian Dragon's attack.
"Have a taste of electricity..."
Buzzshock raised a small hand and pointed from afar, firing a dazzling bolt of electricity from his fingertip.
Crackle!
The fierce blue lightning struck the Barbarian Dragon's head instantly, making its body convulse as it howled in pain.
But this Barbarian Dragon seemed to have some resistance to electricity. Enduring the numbness and pain coursing through its body, it actually bit down on a nearby boulder, whipped its head, and hurled it straight at Buzzshock.
Buzzshock's eyes flickered, a little surprised. Normally, very few creatures could withstand his electric blasts.
Back at Mount Rushmore, even Vilgax had been left in a miserable state by his electricity, pathetic and utterly humiliated.
And yet this alien giant serpent could withstand it and still counterattack?
Had this thing fought electrically oriented creatures before?
While Buzzshock was thinking, the mountain-sized boulder was already right in front of him, carrying terrifying force and making the electricity around him flicker violently.
"As a Nosedeenian, I'm not afraid of physical attacks..." Buzzshock said calmly, his whole body shrouded in brilliant blue light.
Whoosh!
The rushing boulder passed straight through that dark green light without the slightest resistance.
In the next instant, Buzzshock solidified again, revealing his black-and-green body.
At the same time, the Barbarian Dragon shook off the lingering effects of the electricity, the pain and numbness in its body fading away like a receding tide.
"Roar! Roar!"
The Barbarian Dragon glared with lantern-like eyes as red as blood, smashing aside countless Null Guardians in its path as it charged over viciously.
No matter what, today it was going to eat this little creature that could produce electricity.
A massive shadow big enough to blot out the sky swept down from above and covered Buzzshock.
It was the Barbarian Dragon's enormous tail, raised high and whipping over with rings of violent shockwaves.
Buzzshock did not choose to take it head-on. Instead, he fled into the distance.
This was the Null Void. There was no enough electricity here to replenish his power, so every bit he used was gone for good. First he had to find a way to shake off this giant serpent.
Boom!
The moment he escaped, all the floating boulders behind him were shattered by the terrifying tail. Thunderous crashes rolled through the blood-red sky.
Buzzshock ran, and the Barbarian Dragon chased.
Because of his species traits, Buzzshock could ignore all obstacles completely. A streak of blue electricity darted through the Null Void like a spirit serpent, moving as if nothing could block him.
But the Barbarian Dragon was different. It could not ignore obstacles like Buzzshock could, and with its huge size, it smashed through plenty of stone islands and spaceship wreckage along the way.
A number of weaker alien lifeforms suffered for it, such as Havoc Beasts and Vulpimancers.
Even more than a dozen Null Guardians tried to stop the Barbarian Dragon's rampage, but all of them were swallowed in a single bite. That alone showed how savage and terrifying it was.
Buzzshock glanced back at the unstoppable giant serpent and felt a headache coming on.
No wonder Vilgax and Kevin had been chased around so miserably by this snake in the original story. It really was insanely strong, no weaker than the Kraken of the North Sea.
Time passed second by second.
Before he realized it, Buzzshock and the Barbarian Dragon had reached the eastern part of the Null Void.
Buzzshock gritted his teeth. His internal electricity was almost used up. If this kept going, the giant serpent would swallow him sooner or later.
But he really had no other choice. Every time he tried to land, the floating rock would be smashed to pieces by the Barbarian Dragon. There was nowhere to hide.
And he had already used up both hero switches, first Soulcatcher, then Technorg, and now Buzzshock.
At that moment, Buzzshock landed on a piece of spaceship wreckage and turned to face the gigantic Barbarian Dragon.
The Barbarian Dragon also stopped. It arched its body, and its blood-red eyes actually showed a disturbingly human look of mockery.
It was almost as if it were saying: Go on, run. Why did you stop? Weren't you so good at running?
Buzzshock snorted coldly and held both palms flat in front of his chest, beginning to gather a violent electric bomb.
Things had come to this. All he could do now was gamble.
"Roar!"
The Barbarian Dragon roared and charged straight at him with its sharp fangs bared.
But in the next second, a huge yellow iron ball suddenly crashed down from above and slammed hard into the Barbarian Dragon's head.
"Deepwater Bomb!"
A deep voice rang out as the Barbarian Dragon was smashed downward, crashing through countless boulders and vanishing into the blood-red abyss.
Then the yellow iron ball used the impact to bounce up and landed on a rock beside Buzzshock.
The yellow sphere unfolded into a fat, pudgy bear-like figure that staggered and nearly fell off the edge.
"Ben?" Buzzshock's eyes shifted.
"Hey, Cuz, I'm back." Cannonbolt grinned.
"We need to figure out a way out of here fast. The Null Void is too dangerous. There are too many unstable factors here. The longer we stay, the worse things get for us." Buzzshock's expression turned grave.
First there had been Vilgax and Kevin 11, then the Barbarian Dragon and the Null Guardians, not to mention all the other beasts big and small.
This was absolutely not a place to stay long.
Just as the two were discussing how to find an exit, a scream came from the distance.
"Ah! Help! Get away from me!"
A girl in a special protective suit, with orange hair and green eyes and a jetpack on her back, was fleeing for her life.
Behind her was a huge flock of black monster birds, each with a single crimson eye, chasing her wildly and letting out hoarse screeches.
The girl held twin pistols and kept firing lasers behind her.
But there were too many monsters. She simply could not kill them all.
"That's... Gwen!" Cannonbolt cried out.
"Let's go save her."
With that, Buzzshock acted immediately, turning into a streak of pure electricity and darting away.
"Well, no helping it. Looks like it's hero time again."
Cannonbolt spread his hands, then with a thought transformed into Stinkfly.
In the blink of an eye, Buzzshock was already behind Gwen.
Gwen froze for a moment. She only felt something flash past her eyes and instinctively turned her head.
"Buzzshock? No... Cuz?!" Gwen was stunned at first, then overjoyed.
She had finally found Cuz.
But where was Ben?
"Hey, nerd, long time no see!" Stinkfly waved as he flew over from the distance.
At that moment, facing the flock of monster birds, electric light flowed through Buzzshock's eyes with a constant crackle.
He slowly raised one finger, and the nimble electricity gradually formed into a thin blue wire, like a razor-sharp steel filament, stretched across in front of them.
