"Mm, Eve called me, so of course I have to come."
Stellan Sutton's voice was deep and pleasant, carrying a somewhat enticing allure that made Eve Sherman, listening nearby, feel a bit ticklish in her heart.
"Why haven't you come these past few days?"
Hearing Wendy speak such a long sentence, Eve was absolutely shocked.
"Has she been able to communicate like this often recently?"
Eve asked the nurse beside her in surprise.
"Very rarely, maybe she did before, but I didn't notice."
"Oh."
Eve watched in amazement as the two chatted back and forth, finding it so magical.
Clearly, the doctors had said that Wendy's situation, with her brain being eroded by medication, was hard to recover, yet now she could have a normal conversation with Stellan Sutton.
It's simply a miracle.
Thinking about it, Eve couldn't bother about much else and quietly watched them talk.
She couldn't help but take out her phone to capture the moment.
