"In the first place, we were never meant to be from the same world. We've tried for so long, we've struggled too, there's really no need to waste more time. Maybe splitting up is the best choice for us; not every couple staying together is the best ending."
After she finished speaking, she quietly looked at Stellan Sutton, waiting for an answer from him.
Stellan Sutton, however, just stared at her intently without saying a word.
"I know you've been under a lot of pressure lately, and I shouldn't have been so oblivious as to add to your troubles. But since we ran into each other today, I think it's best to clear things up. The sooner we resolve this, the sooner we can handle our own affairs instead of wasting time standing still."
Eve Sherman spoke for quite a while, but Stellan Sutton remained silent throughout.
"Say something."
Eve Sherman waved a hand in front of his face, "Why are you staring at me like this? Staring at me won't give you an answer."
"I mean, I don't agree."
