Chapter 811 - Chapter 325: Senior Investigator.flv

The entire Gryffindor common room was lively, everyone got involved, except for Cormac MacLagan who was still lying in the hospital.

Of course, several of his close friends were also accompanying him in the school hospital and did not return to the common room to seek displeasure.

The celebration party lasted for a long time, and only dissipated reluctantly after ten o'clock.

Perhaps the students also wanted to take the opportunity to release their stress—fifth-year students were overwhelmed by the atmosphere recently, with professors constantly drilling O.W.Ls into their heads; as for students from other years, they were essentially driven mad by Umbridge.

Fortunately, Umbridge had already lost control over the fifth-year students.

Some of the smarter students were also thinking if they could emulate the fifth years?

However, they were just thinking, as for attacking professors in class? Even with ten times the courage, they wouldn't dare.

Umbridge might be weak, but she was still an adult wizard... not everyone was like Harry, who could duel with adult wizards.

Of course, Harry was no longer just capable of dueling adult wizards; he could even stand against Voldemort, which was beyond their ability to imitate.

On Saturday and Sunday, the days were leisurely, except for the fifth-year students.

Ron, unusually, went to the library with Hermione to borrow books and research the various uses of Moonstone to tackle Snape's homework.

"I really don't want to do homework!" Ron complained in the hall, watching the words in front of him become more and more distorted, trying hard not to curse out loud.

He knew he had somewhat of a reputation, as soon as he cursed Snape, the latter would appear behind him like a ghost.

"Anyway, it's something you need to do." Hermione said helplessly, taking out a roll of paper from beside, "Look, there's also this, the Astronomy assignment, you need to write it too."

"Oh thank heaven, I've finished it." Ron boastfully took out a piece of paper, only for Hermione to snatch it away.

"Let me check." Hermione opened her notebook and after a moment of checking indeed found a flaw.

"Jupiter's largest moon is Ganymede, not Callisto," she pointed to a line in his Astronomy paper, "the one with volcanoes should be Io."

"Oh thank you, Hermione." Ron took the paper and made corrections.

Just then, the owls flew in.

Ron's little owl, Zhu Weiqiong, carried a letter and accurately delivered it to his nose, nearly causing his tears to come out.

"Pig!"

He shouted angrily, rubbing his nose, and went to open the letter.

Afterwards, he was stunned.

"What is it?" Hermione asked with concern, "Did something happen?"

"Percy wrote to me." Ron said with a frown, "What's Percy writing to me for? I really can't imagine what he could possibly want to convey to me."

"Maybe it's because he misses you." Hermione suggested.

"Oh, come on, Hermione." Ron shook his head, "Percy wouldn't miss me, his big fat head would only think about how to get promoted!"

With that, he tore open the envelope.

"Well, this is indeed Percy's handwriting." Ron said, gazing at the few lines of text outside the parchment roll: Hogwarts, Gryffindor College, Ron Weasley.

He looked up at Harry and Hermione.

"What do you think?"

"Look with your eyes." Harry said, engrossed in eating his yogurt and oatmeal.

Ron shrugged and opened the letter, starting to read, his brow furrowing more tightly.

Finally, he handed the letter to Hermione and Harry.

"You guys take a look too." Ron said, his expression both weird and complex.

"Is it right to do this?" Harry raised his head, "This is Percy's letter to you, shouldn't let me see it, should you?"

"Oh, he has some words he wants me to convey to you." Ron said, rubbing his temples.

Only then did Harry pick up the letter, which reads:

Dear Ron:

I just heard (from Mom, and Minister Black also confirmed this with me) that you've become a Class Prefect at Hogwarts.

Hearing this news, I am both pleased and surprised, and I offer you my congratulations.

I must admit, I was always worried you would follow what we call the "Fred and George" path, rather than follow in my footsteps, so you can imagine how relieved I am to hear that you finally no longer disdain authority and are determined to really shoulder some responsibility.

But, Ron, I want to give you not only congratulations, but also some advice.

The Minister hinted to me a bit that he very much doubts Harry because he disrupted the Ministry of Magic's plans at the school.

As a member of Hogwarts, even though I adhere to authority, my heart still stands with Hogwarts, with my family.

And you, Ron, you are my brother, my youngest brother, and have an extraordinary relationship with Harry, I think this is something you should discuss with Harry—of course, I must remind you, Dumbledore's days of authority at the school will not last long, the Minister has made some plans against him, and although I am considered one of his confidants, he is unwilling to disclose the details to me, all I know is a bit, that he wants to gradually remove the principal's power through the actions of Umbridge at the school...

(Although she has some unsupported ideas now, she will find work easier next week—please see tomorrow's "Prophet Daily"!)
