Chapter 820 - Chapter 329: Professor Potter Punishes the Toad (Part 2)

"Very good!" Harry clapped his hands, "Miss Granger's answer is very standard, Gryffindor will earn five points for your excellent response!"

Gryffindor was not to be outdone and likewise broke into applause.

Harry gestured with his hand to quiet everyone and continued, "I need to point out that this is actually a very useful spell, but I don't understand why many wizards, even adult wizards, fail to successfully cast this spell? I've found that most adult wizards, even those working at the Ministry of Magic, can't recite a decent Iron Armor Spell."

"This is a very serious issue," Harry said, looking solemn, "I don't know how much longer peace in the Magic World can last, but if Voldemort were to rise again—"

Professor Umbridge suddenly let out a snort of laughter.

"If you don't want to listen, get out." Harry pointed moodily at the door.

"I need to correct your behavior, Mr. Potter." Professor Umbridge said with a fake smile and a coquettish voice, "You repeatedly claim to the students..."

The words were barely out of her mouth when she began to float.

Before she could scream, both she and her chair were swiftly expelled from the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom.

"This class doesn't welcome you, toad." Harry said with an overtly villainous demeanor, "If you have any objections, you're free to bring them to Professor Dumbledore, although... I doubt he'll take your suggestions, don't you think?"

Professor Umbridge awkwardly got to her feet, her lips moved slightly, but she didn't dare to say anything harsh in the end.

She turned and left without a trace.

"Well done! Harry!" Ron said, clapping his hands.

"In class, address me as Professor, Mr. Weasley." Harry gave Ron a sidelong glance.

"Yes, Professor Potter." Ron replied with a grin.

"Let's continue with this lesson," Harry said, raising his head, "I won't dwell on other aspects of the Iron Armor Spell—it's a very useful spell that can help you deflect most curses—but do note that many powerful Evil Curses cannot be warded off with the Iron Armor Spell."

He noticed Hanna raising her hand.

"Miss Abbo," Harry said, "do you have a question?"

"Well, which spells can't be warded off by the Iron Armor Spell?" Hanna asked, eager to learn.

"A very good question, and very crucial, Hufflepuff gets two points." Harry nodded in approval, "Remember last year, the Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor introduced us to the Three Unforgivable Curses, who remembers last year's knowledge points?"

Most of the students raised their hands.

"Hmm..." Harry thought for a moment and pointed at a Ravenclaw student, "Mr. Goldstein, how about you answer this question."

Anthony Goldstein stood up and answered fluently, "The Three Unforgivable Curses are the Soul-snatching Curse which can control people, the Drilling Curse which can torture people, and the Slaughter Curse which directly takes a target's life."

"Very good, very good." Harry clapped, "Ravenclaw gets two points—indeed, the Iron Armor Spell cannot block these three curses, but it's still very reliable; when you encounter Dark Wizards, using this spell will greatly increase your chances of victory."

"Of course, you might also ask me—Professor, why do we have to fight Dark Wizards?"

At this point, Harry chuckled and said, "The sole objective of a Dark Wizard is to kill you—consider this: if you want to escape, you will inevitably face pursuit... So, the best way to hide is to defeat them, or even to kill them."

The classroom erupted in laughter.

"Someone might ask, why must we kill the opponent?" Harry said again, "Then I need to remind you of a harsh reality... as long as you don't want to die, then you must not have any sympathy for Dark Wizards, absolutely none! I've seen more than once young wizards showing mercy to Dark Wizards and then getting killed by them... Like in 1891, Selena Crouch from Ravenclaw felt pity when facing the Fire Ash Snake Faction, but the Dark Wizard ambushed her and she lost her young life."

Harry sighed.

"She was only fifteen, the same age as us, she should have had a wonderful life, graduating from Hogwarts, getting a job she liked, marrying someone she loved—but because of her unnecessary sympathy, all of that vanished."

Hearing Harry's words, everyone exchanged glances, and they all fell silent.

"How did you know?" asked Terry Boot from Ravenclaw.

"Remember the ghost from Slytherin? The one named Sebastian Saru?" Harry smiled and said, "He told me—she was his classmate."

"Goodness." Whispers filled the classroom.

"So, what I want to tell you is that Dark Wizards are Dark Wizards because they are extremely evil entities; if you want to lose your little life, if you want to make your parents sad," Harry shook his head and said, "then go ahead, show mercy to the Dark Wizards."

"I understand, Professor." Terry sat down and said.

"Of course," Harry continued, "I believe learning the Iron Armor Spell is very necessary; even if there is no Voldemort, there will be other Dark Wizards, and I hope you take your studies seriously, don't be irresponsible about your life, thinking that it doesn't matter whether you learn it or not."

"We understand, Professor." the students said in unison.

Oh, well-trained by Umbridge.

"Alright, let's not say more." Harry nodded and said, "In the next session, we will learn how to correctly cast the Iron Armor Spell—now, watch my magic wand, just a wave, a flick... Protego (Armor Protection)!"

Immediately, a transparent shield appeared in front of Harry.

This shield looked very thick and large, almost as tall and wide as the entire classroom.

The students even thought that if the classroom didn't limit it, the shield might be even broader.

"Take a good look at my hand motion." Harry tapped the blackboard and drew a sizzling fire line in the air with a trajectory spell, "Follow this order, swing your magic wand, and imagine a shield in front of you to block spells—"

Seamus wielded his magic wand, waving it twice.

"Protego (Armor Protection)!"

The results were not bad, a small shield appeared in front of him.

"Small but cute." Lavender Brown said with a giggle from the side.

Seamus rolled his eyes and continued to practice.

In contrast, not far away, Hermione had already successfully cast a sizeable shield, almost as large as a whole book.

"Well done, Miss Granger." Harry praised, "Gryffindor gets ten points!"

Hearing this, Ron swung his wand more vigorously.

"Protego (Armor Protection)!"

Yet there was no reaction, only the whooshing sound of his wand cutting through the air.

"Stop, stop now!" Hermione grabbed Ron's arm and rolled her eyes, saying, "You're just the same, right? After all these years, have you changed at all, do you want to poke my eyes out? Focus your spirit, don't be too hasty, calm your mind, and slowly... like this... Protego!"

Ron mimicked her, taking a deep breath, and managed to successfully conjure up a shield.

These students who had extra practice in the Dueling House were making rapid progress in learning the Iron Armor Spell.

However, the other students were not the same, most of them were staring at the fiery line's trajectory in the air, struggling to mimic it effectively.
