After a whole class, besides the members in the Dueling House organized by Harry, almost no one could completely use an Iron Armor Spell.
Except for Hanna Abbo.
This Iron Hat King seemed to have quite the talent for the Iron Armor Spell, before class was over, she was already able to use a relatively complete Iron Armor Spell.
"Well done, Abbo!" Harry clapped his hands, "Ten points to Hufflepuff! Excellent Iron Armor Spell!"
The Hufflepuff students immediately cheered, Justin Finchley even started transforming into Tarzan and began pounding the desk.
"Quiet!" Harry tapped the blackboard with his wand.
The classroom immediately quieted down.
"Look at you, still cheering?" Harry said rather exasperatedly, "A whole class and you can't master even one Iron Armor Spell, and you have the nerve to cheer here? Huh? Mr. Finchley? Do you think you're excellent?"
Justin lowered his head, not daring to make a sound, not daring to utter a sound at all.
Was it a delusion or not, he always felt that in this moment Professor Potter looked very much like Professor of Potions Snape.
Could they really be this similar?
"Homework assignment." Harry tapped the blackboard again, "Those who haven't mastered the Iron Armor Spell, each one write a one-foot-long essay—about the Iron Armor Spell, before next class I'll check it."
The class was suddenly filled with cries of despair, but Ron immediately arrogantly stood up, signaling the Gryffindor students to be quiet.
He was finally showing off, after all... he had already mastered the Iron Armor Spell, didn't need to write the homework assigned by Harry.
This was a good thing! Must support!
Now Ron somewhat understood why professors assign essays—it's truly satisfying to see others write them when you don't have to!
He must say, he's gotten a bit twisted.
"Professor." Draco said with a grin, raising his hand, "Then what about those who are simply unable to learn, the dumb fools?"
"Oh, that's too bad, Mr. Malfoy." Harry gave him a mischievous smile, "Then, I hope you can help the two Giant brothers beside you successfully master the Iron Armor Spell. I'll give you... um, a month's time, how about it? If by Halloween they still can't master the Iron Armor Spell, then… I'll give you trouble, okay?"
Draco's face fell instantly, while Gall and Crabbe showed schadenfreude smiles.
"You two." Harry called out the names of the Giant brothers, "Still laughing? You two have to write a two-foot-long essay, no using big letters to pad the length, otherwise… You know my methods!"
The Giant brothers stopped snickering.
After class, the students listlessly packed their books, leaving the classroom to go to their next class.
"I'm really dumb, really." Draco murmured to Pansy, "I just knew Harry wouldn't let me off, I even gave him the opportunity, really, I'm really dumb..."
"Oh, I think so too." Pansy said coolly from beside, "If you hadn't asked, maybe none of this would have happened."
"I just thought to make Longbottom that little plump kid write a bit more essays." Draco said a bit dejectedly, "Heavens, our Dueling House only Longbottom hasn't proficiently mastered the Iron Armor Spell, it's hit or miss..."
"But he can use the Iron Armor Spell, can't he?" Pansy said indifferently, "You have to know, the vast majority of them can't successfully cast it, except for Hanna Abbo, that Hufflepuff..."
"No way!" Draco said through gritted teeth, "How can Slytherin lose to others? Tell the fifth years, gather at the common room tonight, I'll teach them how to cast the Iron Armor Spell correctly!"
It could be foreseen that Slytherin was already starting to roll up their sleeves.
The next day, when Harry stepped into the Spell Class's classroom, he found Umbridge wasn't there.
This was a good thing.
"It seems you all have completed the homework I assigned well." Professor Flitwick stood smiling on a stack of books, "I'm very pleased with your diligence—oh yes, Harry, congratulations on becoming the youngest professor in Hogwarts history!"
"Thank you, Professor." Harry said with a slight bow.
The atmosphere of the entire Spell Class was very relaxed and joyful, perhaps because Professor Umbridge wasn't there, anyway, everyone appeared very relaxed.
But by the end of class it wasn't so relaxed, because Professor Flitwick assigned another long essay.
In the Transformation Spell classroom, they finally saw a shadow of Umbridge.
She was sitting in the corner, holding a clipboard, and when she saw Harry come in, her drooping eyelid twitched uncontrollably.
"Great," as they sat in their usual spots, Ron whispered, "Yesterday Harry gave Umbridge a good lesson. Today let's see how Professor McGonagall deals with her—haha, Professor McGonagall won't indulge her temper, letting her act arrogantly like in Professor Trelawney's class!"
"I think not necessarily." Harry whispered quietly too.
Just then, Professor McGonagall strode into the classroom, judging by her expression, she seemed completely unaware of Professor Umbridge's presence.
"Alright," she said, the classroom immediately quieted down, "Mr. Finigan, please come and distribute the homework—Miss Brown, please take this box of mice—don't be so silly, girl, they won't bite you, you must give each student one."
