There were only ten days left until the test.
Our school will start summer vacation right after the final exams.
This is the final push before the long vacation. With the reward of summer vacation just around the corner, I think the schedule is designed to increase motivation for the exams.
Well, that being said, the school we attend, Hakuun Academy, is not a high-level school.
The exams are not difficult at all, so if you study normally, you will almost never fail. Although there is some variation depending on the subject, the average score generally converges to around 70-80.
And since I'm an all-rounder in the simple sense of the word, able to get average marks in most of the enhancements, I wasn't at all nervous even as the exams approached.
It's not bad. It's certainly not good. It's not that I'm not trying hard, but I'm not trying too hard either. That's how I usually get through exams.
This time, I'm going to teach Hijiri how to study.
I wonder if I will be able to do well...I have a feeling that this year's final exams will be a bit tough.

After school, the day after we received permission to use an empty classroom, we immediately started our study session.
It was an empty classroom that Hisamori-san usually uses as a place for the newspaper club's activities. I had been there once before, under the pretext of doing an interview. Just as it was back then, there were still some equipment stored along the walls of the classroom that was probably used for school festivals and sports festivals.
It seems that there used to be a lot of students and this classroom was used a lot in the past, but... with the declining birthrate, it has probably been turned into a storage room. However, the fact that the equipment is not covered in dust may be due to Hisamori's diligent cleaning and ventilation. It looks like it's actually quite sturdy.
By the way, Hisamori-san, who introduced us to this empty classroom, wasn't there. It didn't seem like he was late, and he had no intention of coming in the first place. All he had said was that he'd contacted Kiyoshi-san and said, "I'm going to decide the top three delicious sweets shops near the school!" It was too free-spirited for a test coming up.

It's been about 30 minutes since I started studying.
However, Kiyoshi's hands were not moving at all, and Hime was groaning with a difficult look on her face.
"Sis, this is a math problem. You don't need to read it."
"I don't know... what's "ex"?"
"It's an unknown."
"What's Michisu?"
"It's a variable."
"What the hell is hensu?!"
"...Ugh"
Why do they both seem to be in so much pain?
Both Kiyoshi and Hime were at their wits' end because they had absolutely no idea how to study, and Hime had absolutely no idea how to teach.
I see. Now I understand why Hime asked me for help.
Hime and Hijiri... I think they have good personality compatibility, but when it comes to their teacher-student relationship, they seem to be hopelessly incompatible.
Being a genius, Hime is quick to understand things and probably doesn't even realize that she doesn't understand the meaning of the problem. She doesn't even recognize the existence of the wall that stands in front of Hijiri. That's why she doesn't know how to teach him.
And since Kiyoshi doesn't know what he doesn't understand, he can't explain it well.
