Chapter 4 - THE LITTLE THINGS THAT MEANS LOVE

Chapter 4: The Little Things That Mean Love

Love didn't come to Future like thunder — it came softly, like music in the background of everyday life.

It was in the way Wisdom always remembered her favorite things — how she liked her tea (with honey, not sugar), the way she hummed when she was focused, or how she got quiet when she was thinking deeply.

Every day with him felt new. They explored the city together — hand in hand through the crowded markets of Camden, whispering jokes in art galleries, sharing ice cream in Hyde Park even when it was too cold for it.

But Wisdom's real surprise came one Friday evening.

Future had been sewing late at her small studio when the lights suddenly went out.

She frowned. "Seriously? A power cut?"

Before she could move, the door opened. Candlelight flickered. And there he was — Wisdom — standing with a small cake in his hands, the candles forming the words "For My Muse."

Future gasped. "Wisdom… what's all this?"

He smiled. "You've been working nonstop. I thought you deserved a little break. A night just for you."

She laughed softly, walking closer. "You're unbelievable."

He set the cake down, then played soft music from his phone. The tiny studio glowed with candlelight and love.

"May I have this dance?" he asked, extending his hand.

Future placed hers in his. "Always."

They swayed slowly, her head resting on his chest, listening to the steady rhythm of his heartbeat. For a moment, the world outside didn't exist — just the warmth of his arms and the quiet sound of her laughter.

"I don't know what I did to deserve you," Future whispered.

Wisdom smiled, pressing his forehead to hers. "Maybe we were just meant to find each other — no reason, no accident. Just fate."

And as they danced, the candlelight shimmered across the walls like tiny stars — two hearts glowing brighter than any flame.
