Chapter 3: Heartbeats in the City

The next few weeks felt like magic.

London was still cold, but Future's heart was warm — and the reason had a name: Wisdom.

He'd started showing up at her fashion studio, bringing her lunch or hot chocolate "to keep her inspired." Sometimes he'd just sit there, sketching quietly while she designed. Other times, he'd distract her completely — making jokes until she laughed so hard she forgot she was supposed to be working.

One chilly evening, Wisdom texted her:

> "Meet me at the London Eye by 7. Don't be late — dress warmly."

Future smiled to herself, excitement racing through her. She threw on her favorite red coat, the one that always made her feel confident, and rushed out into the glowing night.

When she arrived, Wisdom was already waiting, holding two cups of steaming cocoa.

"You look beautiful," he said softly.

Future felt her cheeks heat up. "Flattery gets you everywhere, Mr. Architect."

They boarded the slow-moving glass capsule, the city sparkling beneath them. The air was quiet except for their laughter — soft, easy, and real.

As the capsule rose higher, Wisdom turned to her. "You know, I never believed in love at first sight… until that day in the rain."

Future looked at him, her smile fading into something deeper — a feeling she couldn't quite name. "And what do you believe now?"

"I believe," he whispered, taking her hand gently, "that the best things in life don't happen by accident."

Their fingers intertwined. London stretched out below them — lights, dreams, and all the noise of life — but inside that capsule, it was just them.

Future leaned her head on his shoulder. "Wisdom?"

"Yes?"

"I think I'm falling for you."

He smiled, squeezing her hand. "Then fall. I'll be right here to catch you."

As the London Eye reached its highest point, their hearts found rhythm — two souls, one beat, under the endless city sky.
