Life was presented to me as a gift, my family was caring for me, and raised me like every boy should have been. I needed nothing, I had friends, a family, dreams, hope...
I lived a peaceful life, with no meaning, and when the last breath came to my family, nothing changed, I simply lost what made me myself.
Slowly life faded away from the eyes of every single one of my surroundings, and mine, still able to cry, saw mine continue alone, in this world of grey and black...
I prayed to God, I cherished life but life didn't cherish me and never did.
Nor me or my parents were...
I had hope and dreams but they were never meant to be, and so, same as the rat disappearing from your life, I left, i surrender.
