Viona's POV
"Did you explain all the science to them?" I asked. Rafael had pulled me into his side again, his arm wrapped around me.
"Hm. But it looks like only Reece can remember all of it."
"Of course. He's your copycat. By the way, how did you find a place like this?"
"It wasn't eas— I mean, I got a recommendation from a colleague."
"Aah… a colleague… It's so beautiful. We should come here again next summer. Or spring."
"We can't."
"What? Why?"
Rafael tightened his arm around my waist and rested his jaw in the crook of my neck.
"This place will be closed for the next three years for forest and river revitalisation, that's including the waterfalls.
"Since it's rented for private VIP guests, they're going to expand the hiking paths and make sure there won't be landslides." He let out a heavy sigh before continuing,
"The tectonic conditions around here shifted after the earthquake a few months ago."
His explanation made me pout.
