Viona's POV
Rafael's whisper from behind me faded, almost distant, drowned by the view that stole all my attention.
Three waterfalls fell from three different canyons, catching the light into three rainbow arcs, each one forming a faint quarter circle through the mist.
My hands clutched the warm iron railing, grounding myself as the cool spray from the falls brushed against my skin.
It was so overwhelming, so beautiful, I felt like I might cry from it.
"Rafael… this… how… I never knew a place like this existed."
Rafael tightened his embrace from behind, his arms firm around my stomach, like he was holding me as something he refused to ever let go.
"Didn't I tell you before? You're my amulet. You make me feel alive. Like breathing itself is something to be grateful for every day.
"So… I want to crown this place as our amulet. No matter what happens in the future, you should know… even nature will stand on our side.
