As Morgranna and Morgana completed registration, the lanterns sprang to life in a metallic deep violet, lighting up one by one from the gate outward until the entire wall glowed—an unmistakable sign that the residence was now occupied.
The gate swung open, admitting the carriage, then closed silently behind them. The carriage stopped just inside, and they disembarked to explore their new Dorm. Once they'd stepped down, the carriage continued toward a stable house by the gate and entered on its own.
They took note of this, and Morgana summoned their second carriage, which also rolled over and entered the stable house. As they walked, Morgranna opened a description of the Dorm and explained its features: the stable house kept the carriages secure when not in use.
They advanced toward a second entry gate, which opened as they approached. Passing through, they found themselves in a large garden belonging to their Dorm—a private retreat for their leisure.
Looking around, Morgranna explained that the Dorm's grounds spanned a full acre, walled for privacy. The building itself was a sprawling, six-story rectangular pagoda in the same style as their old Dorm but scaled to fit their new sizes, making it feel much less cramped.
As they drew near, they noticed the familiar wrap-around balconies they had come to love from their previous Dorm—perfect for enjoying meals outdoors, a guilty pleasure they had grown fond of.
The ground floor, like that of their old Dorm, was slightly elevated and served as a reception hall for guests. Instead of one large central pillar, multiple slender columns dotted the hall, supporting the floors above and leaving the space open and inviting.
There was no visible staircase or way up, until Morgranna revealed a concealed Mana circuit in the southeast corner—a teleportation circle. Ascending, they found the first floor to be a study or library. Another floor up revealed a refining or alchemy lab, while the third floor was designed for forging, and the fourth for cultivation. The fifth floor housed the living spaces: a sitting room, dining area, and a spacious kitchen. The sixth floor was split between sleeping and bathing areas.
The bathing pool took up half the bathing area, with separate shower stalls and washbasins with mirrors above. A gigantic ancient Chinese-style bed (minus its curtains) dominated the sleeping area, with two large wardrobes connected by a dressing table nearby.
Both were pleased that the style resembled what they were used to, especially with the wrap-around balconies and large windows on every floor, flooding the interiors with natural light. They decided to explore the garden as the Mammys summoned and directed servants to clean and prepare the Dorm for their use.
Outside, Chaos silently asked Bane if he could carry him; Bane agreed, shrinking down to twenty inches. Chaos gathered him up in his right arms and strolled the garden, both taking in the sights and quietly discussing possible changes to suit their tastes, if permitted.
After wandering in the garden for about an hour, Chaos received a message from Morgranna: the Dorm had been cleaned up, and they could return to bathe and enjoy a proper meal. They headed towards the pagoda, and as soon as they entered, the changes were immediately apparent.
The reception hall was now filled with comfortable lounge chairs and small tables, each set with potted plants atop silver and deep violet tablecloths, making the space vibrant and inviting. Using the Mana circuit, they ascended each floor, taking in the transformation—every window and door was draped alternately with sheer silver and deep violet curtains. Rugs and tablecloths complemented the décor, and potted plants were arranged with taste throughout.
Soft, plump cushions in silver and deep violet adorned the chairs. Books filled every bookshelf, holoframes displayed a variety of pictures, and sculptures, along with other artworks, were tastefully placed. When they reached the living floor, they had to look twice, for it had been completely transformed.
A large, sprawling sofa and several single recliners were spread across the sitting area. Small tables, covered with silver and deep violet cloths, stood nearby, while plush rugs in matching colours invited them to relax.
Carefully placed potted plants brought touches of nature indoors. Holoframes displayed images on the walls, and as they stepped onto the balcony, they found it furnished with recliners, hanging chairs, and rocking chairs, all adorned with soft, plump cushions radiating comfort.
Further along the balcony, they could see their dining area: a large rectangular table covered with a silver and deep violet tablecloth. In the centre sat a floral arrangement, with candles nestled among the blooms. The table was flanked by large, comfortable chairs—perfect for relaxing after meals while enjoying the view.
Inside, the dining area mirrored the setup outside, enhanced by additional potted plants along the walls and holoframes displaying soothing images—allowing them to choose their preferred dining setting.
The kitchen was Morgranna's domain, impeccably equipped with every gadget she'd need to craft her excellent meals, snacks, and drinks. They had no intention of intruding until they decided to learn to cook themselves—after all, they wanted to learn from the best.
Morgana informed them that more plants had been ordered and would arrive by tomorrow evening, ready to be placed on the balconies for extra comfort. She then led them upstairs, knowing they'd need help grooming their scales, horns, wings, tails, and talons.
Upon entering the top floor, they saw it had gone from bare to elegantly luxurious. Sheer curtains in the same colours hung at every window and door, also dividing the floor into distinct bathing and sleeping areas. The bed was now swathed with thick silver curtains adorned with deep violet patterns.
The bedding matched the curtains, looking soft, warm, and inviting. The dressing table was neatly stocked with sundries, and the wardrobes were filled, their clothes tidily arranged. A hamper beside the wardrobes was ready for used clothes awaiting cleaning.
Morgranna awaited them, having hung up fresh sleeping robes and ushered them to undress and step into the showers. Each Mammy took care of one, patiently and diligently scrubbing and grooming them from head to toe.
Clean and well-groomed to their caregivers' satisfaction, the pair entered the bathing pool to soak while Morgranna went downstairs to start cooking. She knew they'd bathe for at least half an hour—just enough time to prepare a true feast. This time, she upgraded the vegetables from C-level to B-level for maximum nutrition without excess.

Meanwhile, as they relaxed and did their own thing, the student forums of the Orientation Elementary Academy were abuzz with photos of Bane and Chaos's new looks. Everyone was speculating about their entrance into the Awakened section—and if anyone knew the location of their Dorm.

They chose to dine on the balcony—a guilty pleasure—and when they sat down, Morgranna brought out a veritable feast. The tantalising aroma made their mouths water before they even took a bite. Slowly, savouring each mouthful, they enjoyed the meal; they could sense that it contained more energy than usual and would fill them up completely.
Morgranna and Morgana watched happily as the two ate at a comfortable pace, no longer wolfing down food like ravenous wolves. It showed that the meal was finally satisfying their hunger properly. Morgranna made a note to keep feeding them this way, so long as it didn't tip into overnourishment.
When they'd finished eating, Chaos and Bane leaned back into comfortable chairs and sipped their delectable hot chocolate, letting their bodies fully relax after an eventful day. Once they'd finished their first cup of the evening, they decided to visit the library to wind down before bed.
In the library, they each chose a book, then settled onto a large, soft sofa. Bane sat between Chaos's legs, his back against Chaos's chest, both of them reading and sipping hot chocolate until it was time to sleep. The scene felt comfortable, timeless—perhaps the beginning of a new tradition.
Upstairs, the Mammys quietly tidied up and made last-minute preparations before bed.

By ten o'clock, both Bane and Chaos decided it was time for bed. They placed their books on the side table near the sofa and headed up to their sleeping area. After brushing their teeth—paying special attention to their fangs, as usual—they lay down in bed and watched as the curtains were drawn. They wished their Mammys good night and closed their eyes.
After a while, Bane stirred and sighed, prompting Chaos to open his eyes worriedly. "What's up?" he asked. Bane replied, "I don't know, I just can't fall asleep."
"Want me to try something?" Chaos offered, and Bane nodded in agreement.
With Bane's approval, Chaos reached over with his four arms, lifted Bane, and placed him on his chest. He hugged him tightly enough so he wouldn't fall off.
Bane sighed contentedly, and soon both of them closed their eyes and promptly fell sound asleep.
