Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Starfalls That Make You Fall in Love

An intense power

was radiating from Earth. This force was so overwhelming that neither humanity,

nor the world, nor the stars, nor even the universe itself could withstand it.

The rippling energy emanated from the planet, spreading first through the solar

system, then across the galaxies, and finally throughout the entire universe.

The cosmos was literally breaking apart, expanding and contracting—like dough

being kneaded, slowly fading into nothingness.

The universe could not withstand this

power and exploded. It was an immense and powerful explosion—an explosion

marking a new beginning. After this cataclysm, the universe slowly began to

restore itself, returning to its former state on its own. Galaxies and

systems—everything that had been shattered—reformed as they once were. At the

same time, Earth, the home of countless living beings and humans, was

recreated.

Over the course of a billion years, the

Earth fully took shape. Living organisms and microorganisms evolved one by one.

Then came the turn of the human race. Humanity once again evolved and came into

existence. Roughly a thousand years after human evolution, tribes and primitive

technologies (such as spears) began to emerge. The human mind was advancing.

But one day, while humans were living

their ordinary lives, a massive meteor approached this newly formed Earth. Had

it struck, it would likely have ended humanity—just as it had once done to

pre-human life. However, before the meteor could hit the planet, it shattered.

It continued to break apart, fragmenting into countless tiny, perfectly

triangular pieces.

These stones, glowing in a mesmerizing

purplish-red hue and shaped into flawless triangles, rained down upon the Earth

like a celestial storm. The people who witnessed this beautiful rainfall could

not take their eyes off it. They were, quite literally, entranced—utterly in

love.

People saw it merely as a beautiful

natural phenomenon. Yet, these stones were destined to spark a great revolution

on Earth.

At first, while wandering around, some

people stumbled upon these strange stones. When they came into direct contact

with the stones—touching them with bare skin—they discovered something

astonishing: the stones would seep into the body through the nearest vein at

the point of contact and rapidly move toward the heart. As they entered the

bloodstream and advanced toward the heart, they caused intense pain and, though

not much, a trace of bleeding.

Naturally, the people were

terrified—these stones seemed alive, as if they were burrowing through their

bodies to take their lives. However, despite penetrating their veins and

settling within their hearts, the stones caused no harm. Nothing happened—or at

least, nothing bad.

However, those who came into contact with

the stone soon realized that something was different after it settled within

their hearts. The stone was awakening some kind of power—sometimes great,

sometimes small.

The first to discover this was a young

woman from a desert tribe. She had long crimson hair, a graceful face, and deep

brown eyes. One day, as she wandered slowly across the sands, she touched one

of these stones. At first, she didn't understand what had happened, even after

the stone had reached her heart. But over time—during the moments she spent

upon the desert sands—she began to notice something extraordinary. When she

focused her mind and concentrated, she could move the sand with her hands or

feet.

She could shape it almost any way she

wished—sending it swirling, rising, and flying wherever she desired. A gentle

smile formed on her lips, and a newfound confidence awakened within her.

The woman felt different—truly different.

Yet, across many parts of the world, there were others who had gained similar

abilities. Like her power to control sand, those who had come into contact with

the stones had awakened their own unique powers. Some could transform into

animals or creatures; others could manipulate matter or elements. And a few

possessed abilities that seemed entirely supernatural.

It was the woman who first found the

stone who proposed a name for it. She and nearby tribes called it "Konkai."

The woman who wielded the Sand Konkai learned faster than any other user. She

was far more talented. This gift became her strength—a trait that allowed her

to lead her tribe. To her, rules and order were necessary—for her people, and

for the entire world. After all, she was the first to ever discover the Konkai.

Her name was Sandriel

Rosengard. She mastered the sand so completely that she waged

war upon other tribes—some she conquered, some she allied with, and some she

simply destroyed. Others she absorbed into her own society. She made people

kneel before her with ease.

Sandriel: "People of despair! I am not without mercy.

Unite under my protection."

She then united several tribes and formed

a clan. Using her own surname, she named it the "Rosengard Clan."

She could wield the power of sand as though it were a spear or a sword, honing

her control to develop lethal techniques capable of killing with precision.

However, over time, she began to misuse

this power—bending it toward strict and oppressive rule. The confidence born

from her strength and mastery turned into dominance. She manipulated people

with ease, forcing them to obey and bow before her.

She claimed vast territories across the desert

and settled in them—though never completely, for she preferred a nomadic life,

moving from place to place and absorbing new tribes into her people. Sandriel

began gathering many individuals across the world who possessed Konkai powers,

bringing them under her protection and using them as soldiers.

As she explored deeper into the desert, she

encountered both challenges and blessings—new powers, new people, new tribes.

One day, while advancing near the edge of the desert, she came across a frozen

land. There, wandering through the icy region, she saw strange creatures unlike

any she had encountered before.
