The sky was filled with stormy clouds,
crackling with lightning,multiple droplets of rain began to fall from it, dominating the area.
Standing on top of the roof of the phantom middle school were two figures, a cat and a red haired ninja.
Water dripping from their hair and bodies,
The cat,a primordial beast ready to slay it's prey.
The prey,a red haired ninja,her gaze darting,her expression undetectable as she wore a red and black mask.
In an insidious rage they both launched towards each other, Ashara's claws grew longer as it clashed with the Ninja's sword,intense fire sparks could be seen as they gave frequent fierce attacks.
The red haired ninja retorted to a kick which Ashara dodged as she bent down sliding to the other side giving the red haired ninja a wild hit on her knee.
The red haired ninja jumped up with her other feet,
twirling in the sky as landing a few feet away from Ashara.
"Tired already"
Ashara said smiling.
The red haired girl didn't respond,
she didn't flinch,she only launched for another attack,
they collided again sending sound waves to the remaining part of the roof top.
The red haired girl was being pushed back, she was simply too slow for Ashara's god level speed.
Ashara raged, suddenly giving the Ninja's sword a wild side punch,sending the metallic sword into shackles.
Without hesitation, she gave the Ninja another punch on the chest,
blood sprouted from the Ninja's mouth as she fell on her knees facing Ashara.
Ashara then asked,
"Where's the file you took from the office?"
"Give it to me!"
"And don't think you can play pranks,where are the other girl Ninjas?"
The red haired ninja who was still on her knees, began to laugh hysterically. She removed the face mask that had covered her face with her hand wiping of the blood that continuously leaked from her mouth.
"She then spoke, maybe I'll never be able to avenge Edeth's death after all, my battle power could never be compared to her's even after all this time.
So how am I supposed to avenge her?"
"Yet still I will never give up."
Ashara was shocked,she remembered what Zaya had told her about Edeth.The greatest warrior to ever walk the earth.
Ashara relaxed herself.
Why should she care about what the ninja knew about legends she thought.
All she wanted was what was in that file.
The Ninja began to laugh harder as she said "good bye child," "I wouldn't like for Zaya to meet me again like this,"
before Ashara could respond.
The Ninja grabbed the handle of the broken sword, the remnants of the sword,began to join together like they were being pulled by an invisible magnetic force.
The sword joined together back to it's former shape.
Afterwards she saw the crimson eyes of the Ninja glow, and that was the last thing she remembered.
Zaya and Zoey were sharing papers to the various lockers in the hall way.
When a message from June came from their nano wrist watch asking them to fall back as the cameras would soon reload and people have began to arrive to school.
They both began to hurry towards where they had planned to meet.
Zaya suddenly stopped in her tracks turning her head to the left as she stared straight.
Zaya, "what's going on?" Zoey asked seeing her friend seemed to stare at the wall for no particular reason.
"Pauline is in trouble" Zaya said as she could sense a high primordial energy closing on Pauline's location.
I'll meet you guys in class Zaya said as she sprinted away.
The school principal brought out his gun which was directed straight at Pauline,give me one reason I shouldn't kill you now said the principal."Maybe because am a student here and my mom owns literally half of this school."
On hearing that,the principal lowered his gun as he stared closely.
"Pauline Brynes?"
"Yes principal it's me,what happened here?",
He asked authoritatively,"I was a victim"Pauline said, "I barely survived."
A look of remorse appeared on the face of the principal before it quickly vanished.
He then muttered "where are they?"
Pauline pointed to the ceiling as she spoke "They went towards the roof top"
"Come with me" the principal ordered.
"what, why?" Pauline asked.
"How do I know You're not an accomplice?"
"And If you're so much of a student why are you dressed as the janitor?"
"I knew something was off when I saw the janitor in more than six places around the school at the same time."
"Come with me" the principal said as he turned on his phone and took a call.
"Lieutenant order all units to fall to base for back up," "There's been a breach in operation, I repeat there's been a breach in operation."
Pauline followed the principal towards the staircase that led to the roof,on getting there.
Pauline was not too surprised to see five helicopters already hovering on top of the roof,their light centering down on a particular figure which shocked Pauline.
Water dripping from her still body, each drop gave heart aches to Pauline.
Ashara was on the ground looking lifeless!
