The girls consisting of Mio, Regina, Lydia, Racheal, Rem, Yuki and Gwen were all walking together on the city streets. Gwen looked around and asked "Hey, guys, doesn't everything feel wierd today?", Yuki replied "Everyday's always wierd Gwen, you just don't notice it.". Racheal also looked around, she noticed how clear and blue the sky was, she also noticed how calm and quiet the city was at the moment "Well, I wouldn't say wierd. I mean, the city's always been like this when there's nothing to do.". Lydia then added "It's probably because something happened while we were gone.", Mio tilted her head and asked "How'd you know that?", Lydia replied "Just a hunch.". Rem was silent the entire time, Mio looked at her and asked "Rem? You okay?", Rem still kept quiet until she asked "Hey, guys....", the girls stopped walking "What is it?", Mio asked. Rem continued what she was trying to say "Have any of you heard from the boys?", all the girls paused. They're eyes widened with shock "Shit!", Regina muttered "Now, what do we do?", Mio asked. Yuki waved her hand "They're probably fine.", she said in a calm tone, Yuki wasn't worried about anything at all. Mio grabbed her by the shoulders "HOW ARE YOU SO CALM ABOUT THIS?! FOR ALL WE KNOW, THEY COULD BE IN THE WORST CASE MEDICAL SITUATIONS RIGHT NOW!", Mio yelled. Yuki replied without any reaction but her straight forward nature "Nah, they'll be fine.". Regina took a soft sigh "Now that I think of it, I miss Yuji for some odd reason.", Mio turned to her "Yeah, for obvious reasons. You should probably go check up on him in his house.", Racheal then asked "Wait, aren't you his teammate, Mio?". Mio replied "Yeah, I am. But I'm too worried about Kazuma right now. I'll go check on him In his hostel.". Rem scratched her head "I'm kinda surprised that we all are so confident that the boys are alive....", she took a moment to think before saying "Yuki, you and I should go check up on Kito.". Yuki replied "Sounds like a plan.", Gwen then stretched her arms "Alright, we all know what to do. Mio would go check up on Kazuma. Regina will go find Yuji. Yuki and Rem would look for Kito. And as for me, I'll be going back home.". Regina snared "Hey!", Gwen changed her mind "You're right. I should go do something productive.", Mio muttered to herself "Now I'm scared.", Yuki muttered back In response "Yep.". Rachel and Lydia looked at each other "Well, we'll be going home then.", Racheal said to the rest of the friend group. Mio, Gwen and Yuki waved "Yeah.", "Sure", "See you later.". Meanwhile, on Kazuma's end, Kazuma was laying on his bed while playing video games. He didn't have any reactions at all, he was just focused on the game. Kazuma remembered how he ramaged when he and Rexus fought, how he created a giant purple ball of flames and shot it at him. Kazuma also remembered how Rexus almost destroyed his hand with one gun shot. Kazuma took a sigh and sat up straight, his head was looking straight at the ground. As Kazuma was taking his time to reflect, he looked at the room opposite his, it was Ariyo's room. Kazuma looked at it for a while before facing down "Ariyo...!", Kazuma didn't know what to say. Suddenly, he started remember Ariyo, his smiles, his laughter and how he'd always play with him. Kazuma couldn't shedd tears any more, even if he wanted too, he just couldn't. Kazuma just sighed "At the end, it is what it is. He died on his mission, he was controlled like a puppet. And when he wasn't usefull anymore, he got thrown aside for me to moarn. There's nothing I can do, he's gone.". Kazuma was trying to make himself understand the bitter fact that reality had presented to him "If we weren't lucky, we'd be dead too.". Kazuma sighed, stood up, went to his wardrobe and picked up his basketball. Later, Kazuma was walking his way to a basketball court. As soon as he got there, he looked around, he noticed the place was quiet. No one was outside, just the wind, the sound of rustling trees and the calm environment. Kazuma stared for a moment before he decided to just bounce the ball and started throwing them into the hoop. He'd bounce and then throw the ball continuously "There's no amount of wallowing I'll do that'll bring him back to life. It's better I just keep moving on.". As Kazuma kept throwing the ball through the hoop, he didn't know that Mio was looking for him and had eventually found him playing by himself. Mio watched from a distance, she blinked and then walked to the court. Kazuma didn't notice that Mio was behind him the entire time, as he kept playing by throwing the ball in the hoop, she just watched quietly. She didn't make a sound, nor did she even make any unnecessary body movement, the girl just watched him. Kazuma thought to himself "My body's weak from the mission, but I should still be able to do some exercise to get myself into shape.". Mio tapped him on the shoulder, Kazuma looked back "Hm?", he saw Mio standing behind him while waving to him "Hey, Kazuma.". Kazuma blinked at her "Hey, Mio, you're alive. That's good to see.", Mio's smile cracked. She grabbed Kazuma by the shoulders and yelled "WHAT WAS THAT?! YOU IDIOT! I CAME ALL THIS WAY LOOKING FOR YOU, AND YOU'RE TELLING ME YOU'RE SURPRISED I'M ALIVE?!". Kazuma replied "Hey, I'm sorry. You don't have to yell.", he said casually. Kazuma was just throwing the ball into the hoop while Mio watched him as she sat on the floor with her back layed on the metal nets behind her. After the last throw, Kazuma caught the ball and asked Mio "So, what do want to do?", Mio replied "Nothing much, I just came to see how you were doing.". Kazuma then asked "You wanna come over too my hostel?", Mio replied "If it makes you feel better, sure.".
