Meanwhile, at the other side of the city, Kito was in his house resting on his bed. His window was reflecting the sunlight, he had used the back of his arm to cover his face. Kito was just tired at the moment "Damn it!", he muttered under his breath before getting up from bed and just walking all the way to his kitchen. Kito started to prepare tea for himself, after making his tea, he walked all the way too his room as he took a sip from it. Kito sat on his bed looking at nothing, his face seemed really tired "Hwooh!", he exhaled. Kito rested on the wall beside his bed "I don't even know what to say anymore.", he muttered to himself "Missions upon missions upon missions! It's really tiring and extremely dangerous. I mean, what's the point of sending kids to go kill each other? I get the reason behind the system, but still.". Kito just lazily groaned "Aaaaah! I'm so tired. The mission we went on in the city of pillars almost killed us all. And that was before that Rexus guy spawned in. Fuck!". Kito took another sigh "Well, atleast I'm alive. I didn't get blown into a pile of blood with one hit, I didn't get vaporized into nothing, and I didn't get crushed by a rock. Other kids my age die grousomely on missions, yet myself, Rem and Baroka are still alive and kicking. That's good for us.". Kito took another sip of his tea, he looked at it "Guess I should finish this so it doesn't get cold.", he said to himself. Suddenly, he heard a knock at his door, Kito became slightly alarmed "Hm? Someone's at the door?", he asked himself. Kito stood up and walked to the door "I sense two people, who could it be?". He asked "Who is it?", two familiar voices replied "It's us.". Kito was a little surprised, he opened the door and saw Rem and Yuki standing outside his door "Jeez, what's your problem? You don't let ladies stay out the door for too long, especially when they're your friends", Rem said with one of her hands on her waist. Yuki greeted "Hey, Kito.", Kito was a little confused "Huh? You girls?", he asked as he blinked. A few moments go by, Rem, Yuki and Kito where sitted on the dinner table with cups of tea for each of them. Rem asked "Kito? You don't look so good.", Kito responded "Offcourse i don't, my body hurts. As I am, I'm low on stamina.", Rem tried annoying him with a straight face "Then go buy more!", Kito popped a vein. Yuki sighed "Is this how you treat your teammate? You can be really odd you know, Rem.". Rem raised a brow "You're one to talk.", she responded, Yuki looked at Kito "You really are that tired?", she asked. Kito responded "That's what I just said. I'm even surprised you two are here, you look like you've gone through worse than what I've gone through.", Yuki explained "Well, we did get our ass's beat. Especially Rem.", she pointed at Rem "She got her ass handed to her like a cake.", Rem snapped "Says the girl that got kicked once and didn't get up after that.", Kito started to get annoyed "Don't make noise in my house!", he said with slight annoyance. Rem replied "Jeez, sorry.", Yuki just looked away "Hm!", she scoffed. Kito rested his head on his left palm "So? How are the rest of you? You know, Racheal, Lydia, Mio....", Yuki explained "They're all fine. We all woke up today and found ourselves in the hospital....", Rem also added "All's well that ends well, I guess.". Kito thought to himself "Not all's well that ends well....", he remembered how a giant missile made of pure white energy was pointed down at the city of pillars they where in as he and his friends layed unconcious, he also remembered how Reggie swooped in to save them from being obliterated out of existence by that bomb. Kito was sipping his tea while thinking to himself "We were all supposed to die there. There wasn't anything that was supposed to save us. Reggie sensei was the one who came in and deflected whatever the hell that fucking nuke was.". Kito took a sigh after drinking his tea "Whatever, the fact that we're alive should be something we should be happy about. Non of us died during the mission, not just that, but the city was also in one piece by the time woke up. That means nothing too bad happened while we were gone.". Yuki muttered to herself "I don't knoooow.....", Kito and Rem looked at her "Hey! If you have something to say, then say it!", Kito said annoyance towards Yuki, Yuki responded "Oh, I have nothing to say, don't mind me.". Rem felt wierded out "Now I'm starting to mind you.", she thought in her head. Rem stood up from the chair "Well, I'm just glad you're okay, Kito. After this, I'll have to go see Baroka. Can't leave him out.". Rem opened the door and waved before she left "Later.", she said. After the door closed, Kito turned to Yuki "Wanna go in my room with me?", he asked, Yuki replied "Sure.". Yuki and Kito where at Kito's bed room, Kito was laying his head on her laps, while Yuki was just toying with his hair "You really are low on stamina.", she said. Kito explained "Yep. Apparently, I used way too much power when fighting on that mission. Broke everything in my body just to move, was spamming elemental attacks all over the place. I got hit around buildings constantly like a ball. I basically tried to stall for the others to get up, guess it was worth it.", Yuki asked "Was it, tho?". Kito didn't respond, Yuki said "I mean, sure, everyone fought their hardest. No one slouched during the mission. But where you really fighting to prove a point, or you where fighting to save everyone else?". Kito took his time to think while slowly falling to sleep "Hm, I don't know. Guess we'll never find out.".
