As the shadow struck at Don's shoulder , the Shadow was promptly thrown way off .
A small blade coursed his way to Lumian . With his mental instincts Lumian promptly bolted to the side .
Having a second to think . Lumian recognized the individual . At the brief by Karl . He had mentioned an individual named Pax , he was apparently an underling of the Town Lord .
Pax was a Dormant Human who had realized his Aspect.
His Aspect Allowed him the ability to move in sudden dashing quick speeds .
" Quite suitable for combat " Lumian thought .
Don lunged at the Pax , as sword clashes erupted .Suddenly the surrounding gained a dark hue.
As dark tendrils rose and wrapped around Shauna's legs , she bolted toward pax .
" She can wield true darkness as per aspect "
Lumian did not waste any more time , took hold of his knives and launched them toward pax .
Most were evaded by Pax .
As Shauna had made hee way to Pax .
Don and Shauna consecutively launched strikes on Pax .
Swiftly closing the distance Lumian made his way to Pax .
Now cornered by three People , Pax stood vulnerable .
The situated lasted only for a few seconds as Pax gave up on close melee and used his speed to garner distance from his three assailants . Sharp practices were thrown at Lumian , almost all of them of them parried .
As the distance once again closed .
Pax showed a discerning grin , he stopped as the three mercenaries were almost lunging at him. He threw out a glass bottle containing a smog like substance .
Suddenly a burst occurred, Shauna at the front was hit by a discerning gray smoke , making her dazzled , the
smoke spread rapidly in all directions confronting Lumian and Don .
As the smoke covered their surrounding , visibility fell into dismay . A projectile lunge at lumian from the side, with his senses he avoided the full blunt of the attack only leaving a little cut .
' At this rate he will finish us off one by one '
A movement came from behind. He tried to parry the blade behind him .
The crusting sound of two blades grazing was what followed . As Lumian wasn't prepared enough this time , he did not manage to fully parry it . His blade was pushed to the side and Pax's sword now with reduced force and an off course direction took a cut a lumian's ear .
Part of Lumian's ear was pierced . This sudden cohesion left him in sudden agony . He stumbled back groaning .
Pax took the opportunity to deliver a swift kick . Lumian was sent stumbling to the wall.
Suddenly an attack hit Pax from behind . There stood Don in all his might .
What followed was a grandeur dual between Don and Pax .

Lumian opened his heavy eyes . And stood up with a groan .
What filled his vision was dark red blood .
Don stood to the hallway kneeling . A blade stuck through his chest . His hands still trying to constraint Pax .
In what looked like a futile effort . Sensing Lumian wake up , he made a courageous smile and spoke loudly " It's time you do your job " saying that Don relieved his restraints on Pax and went silent still kneeling on the same spot .
Amidst the second of emotion , lumian jogged down all his throwing knives in a gist of rage .
Free from constraints Pax swiftly evaded those mismatched throw . Dawning his longsword Lumian charged .
Once again a melee started .
Pax's blade fell on lumian in quick succession . This seemingly master swordsman still felt like as if he had all the energy left even after the recent rundown .
As strikes after strikes followed , Lumian's frame was pushed onto the corners of the hallway .
As Lumian had started to run down from exhaustion . The area around them once again gained a dark hue . A dark caped petite girl with disheveled hair , eyes full of blood as if someone was crying blood instead of tears approached in a racing frenzy . The true darkness materialized in her hands . She was Shauna .
What followed was a intense meele . The Lumian also partnered and slowly hacked away at Pax .
Now down to his life. Pax once again tried to run but was caught on by Shauna . As she held him down . Lumian landed the final blow . Hacking away at his neck .
[You have killed a Dormant Human ]
[You have recieved a Memory ]
Both of them made their way toward Don's resting place . There stood his lifeless body still refusing to completely fall .
" We may never be able to provide you a proper burial , as the lands stand everyone is going to receive rest , free from these trecherous gods " Shauna spoke .
They made their way to the Treasury room .
Once inside we saw that there stood hordes of gold .
" All this will be worthless in the new world after create ridden of the Gods" Shauna spoke one again .
Paying her no homage lumian continued to the deepest part of the room .
There stood a dark colored chest .Adorned with no traps . It was swiftly opened .
Inside stood a single scroll , giving off an ominous Aura .
" Don't touch it " Shauna said , summoning a portion of true darkness , using it to pick the scroll up and placing it inside an ominous looking empty bag .
The departure was swift and stealthy .
As Lumian and Shauna made their to the Lord's manor through the dark alleys .
Three silhouettes came into Lumian's view .
" It's Karl " Shauna said .
As they approached their faces became clear .There was Karl , a tall girl with with black luster hair and deep crimson eyes , the other a man in his youth with a sharp face , brown hair and wierd shining golden eyes .
"Where's Katy " Shauna questioned .
Karl answered " She has passed away " he said in a straight fonward manner . After a second of silence . He spoke once again " They're Mia and Sander " jesturing to the two people behind him .
Looking at the Large building shining with light in the ethereal darkness . Karl spoke " It's time we burn It all down "
