Chapter 14 - Stealing the Ship

People are always interested or excited about things they haven't done before.

For Kyle, he had never truly robbed anyone. If he said he wasn't excited about this first time, he would definitely be lying.

The three of them, filled with excitement, followed closely behind. The pirates, completely unaware they were being tracked, chatted and laughed the entire way.

They didn't bother to keep their voices down.

"Why do you think the Captain didn't attack this town? I saw quite a few beauties here!" A middle-aged man with a lewd appearance smacked his lips.

"Where do you think this is? This is Shells Town, where the Marine is stationed. If we make a move, we'll have to fight the Marine here head-on, which would cause us heavy losses.

We should rob villages without the Marine; the people there are foolish and easy to kill, and there isn't much risk." The burly middle-aged man said with disdain, seeing how the lewd man didn't know his place.

"Beauties from villages can't compare to beauties from towns. The Captain is too scared. Isn't what we pirates want to do whatever we please?" The lewd man retorted with great disdain.

Seeing that the two of them were about to argue again, the other pirates immediately intervened: "You two quiet down, be careful the Captain finds out and takes your lives."

Hearing this, they, who had been about to argue, instantly stopped.

They thought of their Captain, Iron Anchor Gray, a great pirate with a bounty of five million Berries.

He was a powerful monster who could deform iron with a single punch. If he got angry, there was a high chance of being torn to shreds.

As they walked out of the port, they arrived at the beach.

Kyle had thought the ship was in the port, but it seemed he was mistaken. If his guess was correct, they had moored their ship in a hidden spot a few kilometers from the port.

Thinking of this, Kyle gave Killua and Gon a look. They understood and nodded, then instantly vanished from their original spot. When they reappeared, they had circled around to the front of the pirates.

Following their line of sight, they discovered a ship beneath a cliff about a kilometer away.

This was a small sea vessel; even a small one could accommodate over twenty people.

Kyle looked at Gon and Killua and said, "If my guess is correct, their Captain is inside. A Captain who can make his subordinates feel fear probably isn't simple."

"Not simple? Then I'll take care of this guy." Killua pulled up the sleeve of his right arm with his left hand, intending to sneak in, but Gon immediately stopped him: "Killua, can I take him on?"

"Don't argue, both of you. Although this Captain has some strength, it's definitely not much. If I'm not mistaken, this pirate's bounty is probably around five to ten million." Kyle said impatiently, watching them squabble over these small-fry.

"Kyle, are bounties categorized by levels? Like, how much bounty to how much bounty is one level?" Killua asked curiously.

Kyle nodded and said, "That's right. It's rough, but here's a general guide:

Tier 1: Up to Ten Million Berries: Usually small-time thugs, rookie pirates, and people who have committed minor crimes. They are fodder.

Tier 2: Ten Million to One Hundred Million Berries: Pirates with a certain level of strength and influence, possibly minor regional leaders or those with special abilities.

Tier 3: One Hundred Million to One Billion Berries: Pirates of this level usually possess strong power and high renown. They are important members of a large pirate crew or powerful figures in a region.

Tier 4: One Billion to Three Billion Berries 👑: Already top-tier powerhouses in this world, generally core cadres of the Four Emperors or powerful Supernovas.

Tier 5: Above Three Billion Berries 🔥: Only a few of them exist. They are the most elite pirates in this world, such as the known Four Emperors.

Hearing Kyle say this, they looked at the pirate ship again. This meant that the guy inside belonged to the category of rookie pirates with bounties under ten million, who had only committed some bad deeds!

Killua, who had been full of anticipation, instantly lost interest. Gon also became disappointed after hearing this.

Seeing them like this, Kyle smiled and said, "This is the East Blue, the weakest of the Four Blues. There are only a few pirates with any real strength here."

"I was really looking forward to it. By the way, Kyle, then what do you think, what bounty level have we reached with our current strength?"

Kyle thought for a moment, and after analyzing, he gave a very fair number: "Our current strength has just reached the third tier."

"The third tier? So, our strength can reach one hundred million Berries?" Killua said, somewhat surprised.

He had thought his strength had at least reached the fourth or fifth...

"This is just a rough estimate and cannot be said to be particularly accurate, because bounties don't only consider strength. Some people, because they are too cruel, will also have higher bounties for that reason."

Just as they were chatting, the pirates had already arrived. When they saw the three teenagers, they all showed sinister smiles.

"These three kids are tender and soft-skinned. If we catch them, we might be able to sell them for a good price." The lewd middle-aged man looked at Gon and the other two, licking his lips excitedly.

Hearing this, the other pirates looked at the three of them and let out sinister laughs.

Killua looked at their smiles and curled his lips, saying, "I'll handle them. Gon, you go deal with the guy in the ship."

Gon nodded and directly jumped down the cliff face.

The lewd man, witnessing this, never expected Gon to be so resolute. He showed a pained expression and immediately ran to the edge of the cliff to watch.

When he saw Gon jump onto the ship, he finally breathed a sigh of relief.

As he turned back to look at Killua with a sinister smile, something shocking happened: his dozen or so companions were all lying motionless on the ground.

And Killua stood in the middle of those people, looking at him with a mischievous smile.

He looked at his fallen companions, then at Killua, doing this five or six times. No matter how much he disbelieved, his companions remained lying there motionless.

Watching the kid slowly walk towards him, he plopped down on the ground. He thought of his Captain, with a bounty of five million Berries, and immediately turned back, wanting to call the captain to save him.

But to his horror, he found that the captain had already been dragged out by the kid who had just jumped onto the ship, like a dead dog.

Despair instantly suffocated him. Before he could turn his head, he felt that the kid had already stood beside him.

When he tried to turn his head, he found himself hit by something. In his terror, he rolled his eyes and fainted.
