Chapter 13 - Time Ratio

Hearing Phantom Troupe, Killua's expression turned instantly serious.

Gon, seeing Killua's demeanor, asked earnestly, "Are they very strong?"

"Yes, my father killed one of their members, and that was the only time I ever saw my father feel like the deal was a loss. He even warned me not to provoke them easily."

"Your father warned you?" Gon looked shocked.

Who Killua's father was—the professional assassin among professional assassins. For him to be warned by his father showed just how powerful the Phantom Troupe members were.

"They all already possess their own Hatsu (ultimate abilities). If we want to fight them, we need to cultivate our own ultimate techniques, and then use the remaining time to go to other worlds, incorporate Haki, and form even more powerful moves."

Gon and Killua nodded in unison as they listened to Kyle.

"To save time, let's start training!" After hearing Kyle's words, Gon felt that time was short. He stood up and said very seriously.

Killua agreed, then took out a pre-prepared taser from the side.

Seeing Killua's actions, Gon understood his intentions and looked on with curiosity at Killua's Transmuter method.

Killua ignored Gon, directly turning the current to maximum and plugging it into his left hand.

The buzzing sound of the current made one's scalp tingle.

Yet, Killua didn't even let out a muffled groan.

After the electrocution, he aimed his fingers at each other in front of Gon and Kyle, and an electric arc immediately appeared on his fingertips.

Seeing this, Gon knew he couldn't continue like this. His eyes became serious, and he began to practice concentrating all his aura into his right fist.

Meanwhile, Kyle activated his ability, attempting to adjust the time ratio. Time also belonged to the Specialist type of ability, but controlling the flow rate ratio between two worlds required increasing the function of time.

Thinking of this, Kyle looked at the One Piece World in the Shared Book and began to experiment.

They were like people possessed, led by Gon, training fiercely in the jungles and on the large trees of Whale Island.

As their progress reached critical moments, they, who had been training together, each went to find their own place to explore, fearing that the other would know their progress.

Just as Kyle was exploring another function, there was a "bang," and a loud noise came from Gon's direction.

Kyle and Killua heard the sound and rushed towards Gon's position.

When they arrived in front of him, they saw a deep pit beneath him.

"Gon, did you cause this?" Killua looked at the hole in shock, incredulously.

"Yes, this is my ability. I named it Rock-Paper-Scissors." Gon clenched his fist, very excited, then looked at Kyle very seriously and said, "Kyle, can we go to another world now?"

Kyle nodded and said, "Through my training these past two days, my ability has also gained a new function: Time Ratio."

"Time Ratio?"

"Yes." After Kyle finished speaking, he activated his ability. After the light screen formed, a time setting function was added to the top of the light screen.

And this function was two times, three times, four times, five times, ... ten times.

"Kyle, is this the control button for adjusting the time ratio?"

"That's right. Activating the ratio also requires a corresponding price. For example, with two times, one day in our world would be two days in the other world."

"Two times the time ratio, doesn't that mean our remaining month-plus has turned into two months-plus?" Gon said in surprise.

"Yes, although this is a new function added to my ability, choosing two times will also have a corresponding price, which is that my aura can only recover to ninety percent of my total aura."

"The higher the time ratio chosen, the lower my total aura will be."

"And with my current total aura, I can only activate a two-time ratio. To activate a higher one, my total aura needs to reach two hundred thousand."

"Two hundred thousand, Kyle, how is aura calculated?"

Kyle panted, "I'll explain that to you later. I'm almost unable to hold on."

Killua looked at Kyle's slightly pale face and finally understood what was happening. The three of them adjusted the time ratio to two times and directly entered the teleportation light screen.

The moment they emerged in the One Piece World, Kyle immediately sat down on the ground.

Seeing Kyle so exhausted, Killua immediately took out a bottle of water from his backpack and handed it to him.

Kyle took the water, drank it in one gulp, and only then felt better.

He hadn't expected that activating a two-time ratio would consume so much, and he could currently only operate at ninety percent of his state.

Although it was a bit of a handicap, it wasn't a big deal. They were only in the East Blue, and there weren't many strong people there.

Half an hour passed, and Kyle's stamina had largely recovered. Only then did he look at Gon and Killua and say, "Gon, Killua, it's time for us to set sail."

Killua and Gon were very excited to hear they were going to sea.

"Kyle, are we buying a ship?" Gon asked excitedly.

"Buy what? That's too much trouble. I think it's better to just steal one." Killua said with a mischievous smile.

"Just as Killua said, there are so many pirates in this world. If we just find some unlucky pirate crew and steal their pirate ship, wouldn't it be ours? Although those pirate ships aren't great, for the three of us, they're perfectly sufficient." Kyle said with a smile.

No matter which world it was, stealing was a very profitable business. They had absolutely no psychological burden about robbing pirates.

Gon thought about it and also agreed with Kyle and Killua's suggestion. After all, those were heinous pirates. Robbing them and then sending them to prison was the best punishment for them.

Acting on their thoughts, the three of them soon arrived at the port of Shells Town.

They saw people coming and going, but no obvious pirate crews.

"Kyle, it seems there are no pirate crews?" Gon looked around but never saw any pirate crews flying pirate flags.

"There are Marines stationed here. How could they possibly fly pirate flags? Look at those people."

Gon and Killua followed Kyle's gaze and saw a dozen people, dressed in tattered clothes, with arrogant smiles on their faces, holding various weapons in their right hands, carrying recently purchased goods, and walking towards a ship.

"Kyle, those people are very likely pirates who came here to procure supplies." Killua said excitedly upon seeing these people.

"Yes, let's go, we'll follow them." Kyle revealed an excited smile.
