Tonia's POV
"That must have been pure coincidence," she said, clearing her throat. "I'm certain she barely did anything significant."
I almost laughed out loud. Pure coincidence? Did she have any clue how much effort that required?
She moved away from the doorway. "Get out. Right now."
For a brief moment, I wondered why Kermit wasn't making her his Luna. She was gorgeous and had already given him children.
"I apologize for intruding on your children's space. The little boy was suffering, and I couldn't just walk away." I bowed my head and exited the room.

Kermit's POV
I knew exactly what would happen after I walked out on them. My mother never let anything slide, especially not situations like this. Though for once, I wished she'd leave me alone.
My beta Ryder and head of security Maximus stood waiting outside my bedroom. I was removing my formal accessories when she stormed in, her expression far from pleased.
